ps: a diving score usually ranges from 40-70 points, 80 would be excellent already. these 2 can managed to hit 90-100+ points shows that they are really outstanding.

not the person. i mean the weather. keep raining non-stop. zz.

even floods in some singapore areas. i've never heard of flooding in our island that is so servere.

if you think of an annual rainfall of about 2000mm-2500mm for our country, a day's record of 300mm+ is considered really high. i guess.

poor hh. the railway she's supposed to ride on when she returns at the end of the month is flooded and damaged [?], which i aint sure. but she definitely cant take the train as usual, that is. T.T

lets hope she will be able to get put of soaky msia by other means of transport. or maybe the rainway will be up again so she can cont with the journey.

THE WEEK IS PACKED. surprisingly.

weeee. TAO LI won the 50m butterfly event from the pools for singapore after some guy won it in 1982 for another event! in case nobody knows (and i think really nobody knows), she is, after Li Jia Wei, my new idol in the sports! since the SEA Games. though she's of the same age as i do (and that i might be older than her ><).

ANYWAY.

i just upgraded from internet explorer 6 to 7 yesterday because windows update prompted me to. and i find that i couldnt get use and did not like the interface at all. i thought of switching it back by my search shows that there is no way (right now) and some say its a complicated process which results in many problems. looks like i have to stay put with the new sophisticated explorer 7.

upgrading's suppose to be good eh? but somehow IE 7 gives me blurry words in some sites. argh.

i guess thats all for today. ><

recently i got some illustrator books (and 1 photoshop book) out of the library and began self-teaching myself the 2 designing softwares in dead night, before i sleep (ok, that partly accounts for my many sleepless nights and late waking up timings).

so far i think i might've gotten some of the basics. but i didnt and havent really try them out on practical, except for a couple of excercises.

i really salute those adobe people, for creating such sophisticated, wonderful, and amazing tools for the mankind! the powerful commands and features... they can really make your dreams come true, man (on print media, that is).

they are ren lei de jiu xing! or mankind's survivor, survivor of the mankind, mankind of the survivor, etc... ... ... ...

i hope i can finish the book before its due date, which is GAH! I FORGOT! gonna check it out later. >< and i wasnt even at half of the book. slaps self*

OMG.

i just realised xiaoping from our school is chosen by some other blogskinner as the new featured contributor.

at first, i did not know it was really her. was like, as usual, just click and looked at the profile. but smth familiar caught my eye. that uniform! (although many schools have similar styles, and though the school crest is not visable) that name! that year of birth! and i was like, surely it cant be that qiao?

but the profile in the blog says it all. IT IS HER. blimey. i dunno whether i can take the shock.

and i never know she indulge herself in so many activities.

frankly speaking, she is not very well-liked, as far as i've known. although we belong to the same chinese class all along, we hardly talked.

some say she's kinda proud/arrogant, whatever you call it. over her little achievements. that i do not know, since i hardly interact with her. (but i do know she can be a bit proud)

oh well. congrats to her den. looks like she found herself in some place where she is popular and getting the attention.

they say the original company of goong season 1 is going to film the second season with the original cast. (cos they bu shang the goong s company infringe their copyrights[?])

meanwhile, goong s (or goong 2) is in its beginning-filming stage. duhs.

now, i thought it was in the first place the original company couldn't pay the 4 lead casts their extremely high prices (shot up by dunno how many folds due to their fame) which they abandoned the plan to shot season 2, hence another company took over with the new cast? how ironic.

with the 2 versions of goong season 2 news coming out, personally i am confused whether the latter's truthfulness (the former is confirmed).

but still, i would like to see a season 2 with the original cast, a real continuation from the last. we goong 1 fans are of course, exhilarated with the news of the new, and genuine goong season 2 at the moment.

i hope its not just at the moment only, huh.

im a good girl today. i went shopping with my mother at imm.
























actually is shop for my things lah. new clothes (weee!). for the upcoming new year and school year.

the road to imm is scary. there's no way u can cross the road freely to the entrance. the cars just zoom in, if u are not careful enough, you might end up being the human-crossing there.

no kidding. as i was telling xiannie, they really should really kill a zebra and slam the skin on the road to guide us the pedestrains.

bought 2 tees from L.P. zone. love their designs. they din have the pants i saw at vivo! darn. vivo there no my size. :( is too small-sized a sin?

my mom say wait till discount den buy the tees frm giodarno. so only bought one (the cheaper one obviously).

also bought a pair of shorts frm S&K yesterday. im surprised to see that dad wanted to see how vivo looks like, cos shopping malls are usually not his cup of coffee tea(sry, my dad drinks tea).

more shopping still have to be done. i guess.

Class Chalet (edited)

Day 1
arranged to meet at je's at 2pm. it turns out that sm and i are the earliest ones to reach. duh. waited for like half and hour before the gang finally arrives. den the guys took us to our chalet- at coasta sands resort (downtown east). our room is a cosy (and clean, cleaner and smells nicer than the guys') room at the second floor.

and according to a fren, we played cards in the guys' room, and had lots of fun. den 2 more girls arrived at night and we went for dinner. after that was monopoly time and it was scary. the robinson road was cursed. shin hwee had 4 houses on it and we had to pay a rental of $875 i think, if we land on it. most of the time we managed to avoid it but a couple or 3 times, some unfortunate fellow landed on it and we were screaming like mad away.

slept at like, 2am, i think.

Day 2

had mac's hotcakes in the morning (yum). den went to escape- only $6! + one free carnival game + free ice cream (jelly de) + free snack. cool huh?

we took most of the rides yea. rainbow was fun. most of the time the scary part is when the ride is going down at x m/s, {x: >50 m/s}. it was like committing suicide. den a couple of ppl gt 'lost'. but was a happy ending lah. :) after that played monopoly with sm with a real identity (zhen ren) and fake identity (jia ren). cos 2 ppl play no fun ma. i think we gonna jing shen fen lie after the whole episode. we kept zhen ren or jia ren's turn? zhen ren or jia ren's turn? lol.

after that was bbq. sadded that none of the teachers came. we realise hassan will make one good satay man in the future. he and the guys did most of the work duh, while we the girls played and watched tv inside the boys room. after more eating and playing, me and sm went back to the room and waited for the girls. lights out after that~

Day 3

nth much- most of us woke up late and later went to the guys' room and watched movie. it was kinda bored at first, no idea what it was showing. den it gt better. was a cloning show. kinda interesting huh, how ppl in the future can buy a policy to protect themselves- a clone of themselves specifically. so that they wont die. the show's 'The Island' btw. the female lead is beautiful. ^^

after that we celebrated belated birthday with saw bian and those who haven had theirs... and there was a cake fight b/w these ppl. cake facial, they call it. lucky i had my birthday early, or i would've gotten oily stains on me too. <33>henry and melvin thing (the names which i hated most). i dun see why the name henry is so funny, except disgusting (long story). den they brought the 'joke' over to the boys' room where we played cards (again) together... and jon was like, who the hell was that. den Dick and friends began to appear around us, except it seems that only kr and jon can see them (profound eh?).

jon keep winning at the card games. except cheat i guess, cos he keep getting himself with more and more cards (originally that was part of his strategy, but it seems to have backfired). den played games like 21, poker and stuffs... the 21 game was hilarious. at one point sm was winning so many uno stakes that she decided to be banker, and the guys call it swiss bank. den marvin counter her by putting 7 cards each time, which the former call it caihong (rainbow). it kinda works, cos he kept winning (and keep losing if he becomes banker). and more of caihong's frens appeared (14, 21, 28 cards). the swiss bank was eventually defeated by the caihong bank, with singapore bank (yuhui) looking on.

ok, yh's 'formation' against the swiss bank also helped. :)) and the ice creams. and the omen timings (4.04, 4.44am). heh heh.

and yh's way of telling the others that she bao (exceed 21 points) was so funny. fire crackers, guo nian, etc. eh, why didnt we think of fireworks?

we managed to tahan until Day 4's morning... den we start dozing on the beds of the boys' room. we woke up to have more card games while the boys had their nuclear food bomb fight. food was flying everywhere, and they even used sm's volleyball. jh was very unfortunate to be hit by both of these nucleated items.

after which we packed up and checked out... and that concludes our class chalet. :)))))
