1. I love he started his very first soccer practice this month!
2. I love to hear him say "You need me Momma, you need me".
3. I love hearing him sing "Sweetly sings the donkey" to me before bed at night.
4. I love singing "The Ants Go Marching" as he marches along the rock wall in our backyard.
5. I love stopping to look at the fishes and guinea pig with him every morning before entering his classroom at school.

What I Love - Month 41
1. I love when he interlaces his fingers with mine when he holds my hand.
2. I love when he sticks his nose in my eye.
3. I love that he loves Peter Pan.
4. I love playing pirates with him with his swords.
5. I love his ketchup kisses.
6. I love the way he laughs hysterically when I give him puffer kisses.
7. I love that he loves to watch "WipeOut" and calls it the "falling down" show.
8. I love when I tell him it is time for bed and he says "Don't say that mommy. Please don't say that". I love that he says that whenever I say something he doesn't want to hear.
9. I love that he makes his own "WipeOut" obstacle courses in our living room.
10. I love how super excited he was to dad the m&m cake we made him for Valentine's Day.
11. I love hearing him sing the "$5 Footlong" Subway commercial.
12. I love when he kisses me until I laugh.
13. I love chasing him around the yard playing squirt guns.

What I Love - Month 40
1. I love that he is thinking and talking in more complex thoughts and sentences. Gone are the days of one word answers.
2. I love that he thinks it is hilarious to do the "toenail torture". Its like his "thing".
3. I love that he loves Toy Story and that he prefers Buzz even though I like Woody.
4. I love hearing him initiate singing "My Boy" to me when he is tired.
5. I love that he loves to help with chores...laundry, sweeping, and the dishes.
6. I love that he loved making homemade doughnuts for our new New Year's Day tradition.
7. I love when he asks me to crawl in bed with him in the morning.
8. I love that at a birthday party this month he ate grapes and carrots and wouldn't touch the cake or ice cream, not because I am proud he was eating healthy, but because it is just one of the many ways it shows me that he is his own little person.
9. I love that he likes to play "flying birds" and the "fruit" games on the iPad. And he is good!

Happy New Year!

What I Love - Month 39
1. I love that he loves to turn on "momma's" Christmas tree each morning and he turns it off each night before bed.
2. I love that he immediately starts singing Jingle Bells as soon as he turns it on.
3. I love that the first thing he asks for in the morning is for us to rush to the front window to see if the neighbor's Christmas lights are on and their inflatable Santa and Snowman are blown up.
4. I love that he loves playing with the Nutcracker.
5. I love that when we go to bed at night, he is sleeping on my side of the bed under the covers. I love he sleeps in his momma's spot.
6. I love hearing him hum "Santa Claus is Coming to Town".
7. I love that he loves to take pictures and I can always tell when he's used my camera by all the random shots on it once I turn it on.
8. I love when he says "You cut that out Momma" when he wants me to stop doing something.
9. I love that he wasn't the least bit interested in opening presents this year, yet that he loved everything else about Christmas...the lights, the trees, the songs.

What I love - Month 38
1. I love when he snuggles into our bed early in the morning and then lays spread out on top of me across my back to be close to his momma.
2. I love that he is naturally curious and is always saying "Why'd you do that momma?" or "Wh'd you say that momma?".
3. I love that he loved Halloween!
4. I love that he tells me I am his best friend! "Momma, you're my best friend".
5. I love that he loves puzzles.
6. I love when he tries to stall before bed by saying "One more show" or if I say "5 more minutes" he counters with "10 more minutes momma"!

What I Love - Month 37
1. I love that when he wants me to carry or rock him, he says "I carry you Mommy" and "I rock you Mommy".
2. I love that he plays hopscotch in the driveway every morning before school.
3. I love that he about passes out with anticipation to come wake me up on Saturday mornings when his dad lets me sleep in.
4. I love that he drags my Mr Bones Halloween skeleton around the house by his top hat. In the mornings he exclaims "Its my Halloween stuff!" when he comes down the stairs.
5. I love that he plays "show and tell" at home.
6. I love helping him make his own chocolate milk after he gets out the milk, the syrup and the spoon.
7. I love listening to him and Grandma hide in the closet at her house. Its their own special thing.
8. I love when we are out in public and he wraps his arms around both my legs. I used to do the exact same thing to my dad.
9. I love that he loves cheetos and apples.
10. I love that a little girl in his classroom calls him Zachie-poo when I come to get him each evening...."Zachie-poo, your mom is here!".
11. I love overhearing him sing songs to himself.
12. I love that he constantly surprises me with things I didn't know he knows.
13. I love that he knows the words to our song "My Boy" which is actually to the tune of "My Girl" by the Temptations.
14. I love that he LOVED Halloween!
