The Final Entry of 2004...
[countdown to 2005] well, a few more hrs to go b4 2005 comes. This year cannot see any live broadcast of nation's countdown @ Sentosa, coz channel 5 had decided not to show. A little sad, butta we have to keep those countdown parties low profile, coz got the tsunami tragedy. So, tonight's entertainment will be with channel u lah....U ROX!
[plan list 2005] started to plan what i wanna do in the new year, basically i will still continue to work lah, perhaps till march or april. Then, it is time to take a break! yeah, do things that i wanna do..
1. driving test
2. music lesson
3. religious lesson
4. volunteering work
5. perhaps...find a new job...haiz
6. most impt thing....plan my studies!
ok...looks like i had only accomplished two things..and that were to visit dentist and find a job. haha! pathetic ah....pple can do so many things butta hc cant multi-task. bo bian lah, i am busy woman mah...wahaha!

waiting for another holiday...
[e-cards] amazing! today both my yahoo & hotmail mailbox were flooded with e-cards! haha! anyway,glad that most of u had seen my e-card lah..and i am damn happy to see ur e-cards too! domo arigato gozaimasu! anyway, this yr's xmas cards by post also reduced greatly..maybe becoz i didnt sent to them ba? haha!
nvm...haha!
[today] well, dad gotta work lah. sis went out with her pals. left 2 sickly pple @ home. patient no 1 (me lah) & patient no 2 (watashi no okasan-mum)..haha! well, actually wanna have a good rest today de, though i had slept for 11 hrs lah..wahhaa! broke my record! butta, couldnt find a good day to give ml her bdae gift..so choose today lor...butta b4 that, i was watching "meng nan show" again by myself, then my mum joined me..sharks! i told her i couldnt laugh in front of her..ahha! butta in the end this show really showed that it was indeed "funny"..coz my mum did laughed..wahaha! ok lah...this show was lame ok? lucky this time round i was able to hear the original korean lang..or else sianz...
rushed down to bugis @ 2.30pm..ml, cl & evelyn was having their meals @ kfc..phew~ long time didnt c them le, didnt changed alot mah..we were chatting abt jobs lah, friends lah...and cl's tantan..wahaha! then we shopped abit @ bugis. went to og albert to see cl @ work..damn crowded! wanna buy something butta in the end gave up..i hate long queues! haha!
actually, their job wasnt an easy one...at least not for me. gotta stand there the wholeday and the biz may not be good. haiz....really..it is hardwork lah. haha!
later econs tutor coming up to return my sis's chem notes...long time didnt c her liao..haha!
[tml] @ home...spring cleaning phrase 3...studyroom..jia lat! this room is full of stuff...haiz.
[physical condition]..still sick..butta better than the previous few days. haiz...my voice is still very mellow...help~~~
[new yr] 2004 is coming to an end and gotta welcome an unpredictable yr 2005. besides getting back my results & continue working..i got nothing to look forward to..haiz..CNY ba! haha! perhaps, time to seach for pte schs lah...
i am not being pessimistic lah, butta i know how "well" i did for A levels..really sian to talk abt it. everybody is so enthu abt uni life butta i didnt even wan to think abt it. maybe i gotta take a longer route..i dun mind. butta i still hope that my results are not so ugly...1st time i totally lost confidence in something i did...A levels....u sux!

It is a bless to be unemployed!
[missing for 3 days] dont worry! i meant i was missing on net for 3 days lah?! haha! not very long mah..hehe! anyway, i was sick for nearly 4 days le..again down with flu. tues & wed were the most horrible days for me..coz my throat was so pain..even swallow salivia also can kill me! haiz...today slightly recover le. think i will be sick for one week ba..haha!
anyway, another reason for my MIA was becoz i was too busy for tv lah! ya lor..start watching tv from 8pm all the way till 11.45pm on mon & tues.wahah! then yday too sick liao, so didnt go online.

Job: Data-entry
Just a short intro abt the company ba..well, they are suppliers of generators and other electrical stuffs+decorations etc. well, they got alot of big projects in singapore lah, like those street lightings @ orchard road, NDP, river hong bao etc.currently projects include street lightings @ chinatown for CNY..another coming project is for Chingay parade 2005.
haiz...really dun feel like working. pple...admin job is not fun hor! now i know that what is good abt sales job...u can have less trouble with documents & save your eyes! ya...starring @ the comp for hrs...until i started to hate seeing my comp @ home...and u know what? today is my 4th day of work only ! haiz....waiting for hols to come! wahahah! money is hard to earn ah, i am fine with earning less ( anyway, i dun need much money @ the moment, still got my dearest parents! )..yeah! i am fortunate eh! mum still sponsor me my meals~wahaha! basically, i wont be spending any amt of my salary...they will be in my studies+guan cai ben fund. hohoho!
got quite alot of things in hand yday..lucky can push to today to finish them. tml left one piece of work..which may take me hrs! haiz....hope that boss wont add my work ah! i am fainting~
told my mum that i dun wan to work till june..maybe march only. coz i wanna be unemployed! ahha! yeah..told my sis to relax lah...couldnt find a job is A BLESS! haha!
[others] quite envy my pals...can still meet outside..me leh? left weekends. haiz....really sian eh! lucky got tv ah...channel u will be gone this month..next month onwards they will be showing shows that havent finish...the new hk drama i had seen in malaysia tv b4...not very nice eh..haiz!
sianz....dunno got what nice shows to watch next yr liao.....btw, house cleaning has started! my room is the cleanest room today! haha!

My Hong Kong Journal Day 7
[day 7] well, didnt do much today. we just went walking around nathan road. went to shang yin bookshop to see books. saw shen xue's latest book..and pf bought it! haiz..envy ah! me long time didnt buy any books le! haiz...
anyway, we checked out @ 12 pm..gotta stroll ard till 5 pm ba..for the bus to fetch us to the airport. on our way there..most of us fell asleep, dunno why so tired.
went to the cathay pacific booth, that lady said our plane got some prob and might be delayed. she asked us to volunteer to switch to United Airlines..but we dun wan. haiz..in the end we got a voucher from Cathay..but we gotta wait for 1.5 hrs more to fly back home! regret we didnt choose UA...coz the plane left @ 8.25 am and cathay's @ 8.50pm! damn sianz!
the 5 of us were seperated...mum and aunt joanna sitted @ the back..me and pf sitted @ the wings..my sis was the only one sitting by herself..a little worried for her. actually wanna changed her seat with the man beside me..but gave up the idea..that guy was a foreigner..and his pals were sitted near him..he wont want to change place de..bo bian..
wondered if that guy knew how to use the controller...kept pressing the icon which was to call for help...and that air stewardress kept coming to our seats..and she always looked at me..as if i was the one who pressed the help button! not me ah! kaoz...i think this happened for abt 5 times! i got so paiseh eh..wanna told tt guy dun anyhow press..butta gave up again. coz i think he dun really understand chinese. kaoz! the whole journey was uncomfortable. dunno why i found my seat damn crampy. it was the same plane i took to hk eh..but how come i felt so diff? haiz..
the food was rather tasty..with haagen diaz ice cream! ahah! first time eating that...wahhaha! butta taste like normal ones..not much diff...diaoz!
i was a little irritated.wanna pass a piece of ham to pf..butta it dropped. then my knife dropped and landed beside the guy..alamak! then my fork nearly dropped! kaoz...what is happening to me ah? finally..reaching sg le..think the plane started to land..my head suddenly pain ah...and the pain seems to come in 2 directions...and finally..i kenna a damn sharp pain! pf said i kenna migraine, i dunno ah...never kenna migraine b4..dunno why so unlucky de! haiz...the headache only ended when i was on my way home...haiz...
guess i wont travel on cathay pacific again for sometime...a little disappointed with them. haha!

the 5 of us were seperated...mum and aunt joanna sitted @ the back..me and pf sitted @ the wings..my sis was the only one sitting by herself..a little worried for her. actually wanna changed her seat with the man beside me..but gave up the idea..that guy was a foreigner..and his pals were sitted near him..he wont want to change place de..bo bian..
wondered if that guy knew how to use the controller...kept pressing the icon which was to call for help...and that air stewardress kept coming to our seats..and she always looked at me..as if i was the one who pressed the help button! not me ah! kaoz...i think this happened for abt 5 times! i got so paiseh eh..wanna told tt guy dun anyhow press..butta gave up again. coz i think he dun really understand chinese. kaoz! the whole journey was uncomfortable. dunno why i found my seat damn crampy. it was the same plane i took to hk eh..but how come i felt so diff? haiz..
the food was rather tasty..with haagen diaz ice cream! ahah! first time eating that...wahhaha! butta taste like normal ones..not much diff...diaoz!
i was a little irritated.wanna pass a piece of ham to pf..butta it dropped. then my knife dropped and landed beside the guy..alamak! then my fork nearly dropped! kaoz...what is happening to me ah? finally..reaching sg le..think the plane started to land..my head suddenly pain ah...and the pain seems to come in 2 directions...and finally..i kenna a damn sharp pain! pf said i kenna migraine, i dunno ah...never kenna migraine b4..dunno why so unlucky de! haiz...the headache only ended when i was on my way home...haiz...
guess i wont travel on cathay pacific again for sometime...a little disappointed with them. haha!

I got a job + My Hong Kong Journal Day 5
[employed] yes! i am going to start work on monday le! working full-time..monday to sat (half day)..cant imagine what will happen on my 1st day of work. hoped that sc can get a job too, i shall wait for her call tml. Anyway, got other new pple will join me on monday lah...hehe!
[shopping] went to orchard OG to shop for some new clothes. bought 2 LEE jeans @ an offered price. Levis's jeans got offer too, butta still ex! haiz..also bought a Kappa bag..haha!
bought a non-sleeve shirt from ocean fly too..quite nice! quite satisfied with my shopping trip today...didnt spend over $100! amazing! wahaha!
passed by bee cheng hiang...bakkwa got offer...damn cheap butta only for 3 days! mum bought one packet..hehe! they changed the packaging le..the bag nicer le..got festive mood. butta dunno if they will continue to use this bag...
saw sun yan zi's autograph seesion @ heeren..sis was there queueing up with the fan club from morning till 5 pm plus. siaoz! weather was bad and tt place was small..the crowd not very big lah...butta many pple was drenched & still wanna see sun yan zi..finally she appeared lah..sang "ben". didnt wait for my sis lah..went to takashimaya to wait for her..haiz
[day 5] we took a train to sheung wan & reached the hk macau ferry pier. bought ticketes from turbojet and met tt rude old lady.diaoz! anyway, the trip to macau was abt an hr...turbojet is a 喷射船..can travel very fast. the whole journey was comfortable lah..as if we were on a plane. haha!
we hired a tour guide @ a reasonable prx..he brought us to some famous spots in macau lah. like the new guan yin statue, the tourist tower, da san ba ( the church remains..left a wall), 炮台..something like our siloso in sentosa. saw stanley ho's 4th wife de house..damn big! sceneries of zhu jiang (china)..which is just opposite of macau..another modern city..wow!
we ate portuguese egg tars and drank coffee @ margaret..very nice..butta just as the same as those in sg.
there were 2 long bridges to travel to taipa..another island of macau. went to buy almond biscuits and other stuffs in a famous shop..haha! macau is going to be the host for 2005 asian games i think..a new olympic stadium is on the way...aunt joanna ate a famous bun @ taipa. a big chicken chop in a bun eh! haha! taste not bad ah! must try !
the tallest building in macau is the bank of china (38 storeys)..dunno why they dun wan to build higher. their housing are similar to hk lah..small. roads are more horrible than hk...many of them are made of rough stones made by the portuguese and alot of small roads only had one lane..beside were full of cars and scooters...
our final stop was SANDS casino..opened by the americans. went to take a look lah..only my sis couldnt get in..gotta wait for us downstairs. pple of 18 yrs old & above can go in lah. i think 80% of the gamblers were from china..alamak! very smoky there and i dun like it. mum said the casino was bigger than the casino in genting. got alot of jackpot machines lah, saw pple playing diff kinds of games lah. i dun like tt place lah, but it was an eye opener. hehe!

thursday thursday+ My Hong Kong Journal Day 6
[today] went for my life's first interview...haha! heng! i think i made it somehow..with sc! haha! tt company is located @ defu lah...damn ulu! haiz...quite a big electrical company ...and they speak mandarin de! bingo! i am more fluent in that lang sia...phew~ anyway, going down there tml again to hand our photos and to discuss the details again ba...hope i can confirm my place...coz got other interviewers b4 me..the boss quite friendly lah...hope that i can pass thru the interview easy breezy! anyway, relief teaching is somehow out now....coz the job is not stable and i gotta call up the schs...damn sianz...cant be waiting for their replies mah...aniwae, wish sh luck lah..hope she can get a relief teaching job..
kumon finally replied my email le...haiz...butta now i am not quite sure if i got employed by the other company. kumon's job is quite ok lah...so i am trying to get my sis that job instead..me leh? perhaps part time? dunno...seems to be too busy and tiring of having 2 jobs @ the same time ba?
went to woodlands regional lib after the interview...long time didnt go there le..borrowed two books while my mum and sis made up the rest. hehe! finally now i can start my reading again..thesedays read a number of novels..most of them are movie or drama novels lah. damn happy to read "dae jang geum"...a korean drama by lee young ae..quite boring but somehow interesting eh..saw the drama showing in a malaysian channel..tv 8! haiz...no chance to see!
[day 6] i really cant believe i am so heng to see TVB shooting drama @ jordan eh! ya...aunt joanna told us when we were having our breakfast...then we kpo and walked to see them shooting..guess who we saw? charmaine sheh(佘诗曼) and raymond lam(林峰). i think they were shooting for the drama" yummy yummy" which channel u also got co-operate.really damn heng! haha! they were sitting in a BMW..hehe! today was like a temple visit...haha! went to 2 buddhist temples & wong tai sin temple..taoist de. the first one was @ diamond hill...zi lian jing yan..a very classy temple. very zen/japanese style..very few pple there..butta very peaceful too. the buddha statues there are diff from the common ones i see in sg. well, buddhist statues dun have a fix posture or what lah..butta those in hk are abit diff from ours lah...quite unique.
then we went to the famous wong tai sin temple..got many pple there ah..again most of them were from china. i hardly been to any taoist temples lah...so this was a gd chance. the temple got many smaller temples with different gods inside...surprisingly they dun use statues de..instead they used pictures...drawings..wonder why...anyway, must made a small donation b4 entering the main temple...actually it was compulsory..got guard sitting beside the donation box..
then we travelled the kcr to shatin..went to ten thousand buddha temple...got 400+steps..along the way were two lanes full of monks statues..very special..the dou hua @ the temple taste different.i tried the cold dou hua...conclusion..hot ones are nicer! haha!
after that went to a nearby shopping centre @ shatin...there got snoopy world..it was actually more for kids lah but i still like tt place..haha!
miss out day 5 le...nvm..will blog in my next entry!

feeling like a santa claus+My Hong Kong Journal-Day 4
[today] met sherry @ hg mall. didnt expect her to buy me n pf x'mas gifts. it was a hp holder. mine was a sheep while pf's was a dog. sherry said sheep represents aries...yeah..and her bdae was 5 days b4 mine..wahah! how come she knows my bdae huh? haha! anyway, arigato ne!
boarded the train too early..reached orchard mrt @ abt 12.30pm..sianz. lucky ch was early too...accompanied me to wait..then came gc and sc..we were betting who would be the last one to come...we were right...HM! haiz...always very late ah gal!
well, we were exchanging gifts here & there..haha! so fun sia! glad tt everybody got something to get from each other! wanna thank sc for ur x'mas cards!
py had found an admin job lah...congrats..butta ur job seems to be very demanding eh? haiz..u looked so stress sia...think u will kenna many OTs ah...poor gal. ch good ah...still can study in poly..sobbzz..sc like me ah...still floating ard....haiz...continue with our job hunt ba! hm leh? kaoz this rich gal can now concentrate on ur driving lessons lah! wish u luck in ur coming test ah! haha!
watched "national treasure" @ lido...didnt expect the cinema to be full house...siaoz...anyway, first time met pple scolding each other in cinema..all i can say was pple...pls be more reasonable, pple didnt purposely hurt ur leg or what...some more u guys are adults..dun throw ur own face...and ladies..pls sit properly...er lang tui is for men sia! haiz....anyway, didnt waste my $6.50 lah..tt show not bad lah..quite interesting...the show was tense too..shiok! nicolas cage's acting..thumbs up!
hope to see u guys soon..though it will be even harder to organise another gathering again...
[day 4] tim sum breakfast @ gold dynasty restaurant along nathan road...very tasty! haha! the har gao was so crystal clear ah! the congee was very smooth..yummy!
too mtr to lantau island. went to visit the great buddha statue & po lam monastery. from tung chung we took a bus to our destination...1 hr..the whole journey was...cool! haha! we gotta travel on mountainous roads and the driver's skill was good ah! cant describe le..haha!
the dou hua @ po lam monastery was fantastic! not too sweet yet tasty! the vegetarian restaurant was full of pple..mainly were tourists from package tours..i didnt have the chance to eat though.
200+ steps to climb @ the great buddha area...not as challenging as the great wall butta quite tiring too...i gotta stopped abit @ a time..really gotta pei fu my sis...she just climbed without stopping...damn good stamina! haha! anyway, the buddha was magnificant lah! very grand and peaceful. i must comment on the toilet @ po lam...really looked like those in china...which i saw 4 yrs back..haha! the cubicals were half covered by the doors...hard to describe lah! really no an quan gan. phew~
went back to kowloon to shop in night mkts again...pf bought a pair of earrings...i didnt buy much ba? haha...a pair of earrings for my cousin..hehe! anyway, pf looked damn hiao back in the hotel room, when she put on her necklace and earrings..haha! guys! must ask her to wear it if u r meeting her! perhaps with her new tube-skirt? haha! so lady~

[life now] thesedays dad kept asking my sis and i to find a job, nagging everyday...alamak. lucky, my mum is more understanding. haiz..actually i thought i had find a job..butta looks like i couldnt get the job lah...too many pple le ba? haiz. nvm, continue to search ba.
[tml] going to meet my si dang again tml @ orchard. too bad not all of them can come lah..butta i feel like i am a santa claus..coz i am giving out gifts i bought for them in hk..wahahah! anyway, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO SIEW CHEN(13/12)...sorry ah gotta wait till tml to celebrate with u! hehe~

[x'mas cards] received a xmas card from my sec pal a few days ago...really wanna thank her for remembering me...coz to some of my pals...the cards are like an annual communication sia...butta gotta say a sorry to her ne..becoz she gotta wait for a few months to receive my cny card! haha! nvm lah, i will leave my contact no and email stuff for her this time..this is applicable to all those pals who i hardly contact...only thru cards...haiz! ya...this yr i am not sending any x'mas cards le..instead i will send CNY cards...so pple gotta wait longer hor? haha! butta i did sent e-cards to my pals thru e-mail lah...most of them are my chat pals though..haa!
[day 3] jw & her sis didnt follow our trip to ocean park..so the wholeday only got 5 of us. anyway, we did travel abit to get discount tickets in hk island..then we took a taxi to ocean park...again..mountainous roads..haha! the entrance fee was quite cheap (forgot how much le..ard $30) and it covered all the stuffs in the park..cable car, aquarium and theme park rides etc.
anyway, to our disappointment, we cant travel in the cable car becoz the weather is windy & they stopped the cable car service temporary. nvm...we travelled up to the upper part of ocean park by escalator...very long and steep ones..got many of them..forgot how many le. hehe~ anyway, the place was flooded by many chinese nationals..sianz
went to visit their aquarium...quite like sentosa's underwater world lah..butta somehow abit more magnifacant than ours. haha! we met a few unfriendly china pple who snatched our place to take photos or squeeze their way in to take photos..damn rude! ladies some more...haiz!
theme park ride was a fun one..pulled pf and my mum to take the roller coaster ride with my sis and me..haha! shiok sia! quite scary lah butta i didnt scream..coz i closed my eyes! wahaha! the pirate ship was a "killer".. coz my mum and pf felt uncomfortable after the ride...so they didnt dare to take anymore rides lah...their themepark wasnt big butta quite fun lor...their biggest roller coaster was off for maintainence...sobbzz!
anyway, we stayed @ the park till 5pm like tt..then we took cable car back to the lower part of the ocean park..haha! went to see the pandas ( an an & jia jia), the dinosaurs , the butterflies and the shops b4 we left . went back to kowloon area to have dinner @ the spaghetti house. the restaurant looked posh butta the food there wasnt ex..heheh! the best dinner i ever had in hk ba? whaha! i dun think they got open branch in sg though...sobbzz!
the fun part came when we were back in our hotel room. tt day tvb showed a korean movie which the 3 of us (pf , my sis and me) named it "猛男show" or "hunk show" lah..haha! coz the actor got a few scenes showing off his muscular body.wahhaha...made us fainted sia...lolz. no lah, actually we laughed damn loud while watching the show..even my mum next door also can hear..paiseh sia...that movie is "my tutor friend" or "我的野蛮家教"..starring kim ha neul & kwon sang woo!
[tml] going to meet my si dang again tml @ orchard. too bad not all of them can come lah..butta i feel like i am a santa claus..coz i am giving out gifts i bought for them in hk..wahahah! anyway, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO SIEW CHEN(13/12)...sorry ah gotta wait till tml to celebrate with u! hehe~
[ayumi] yes! finally her latest album "my story" is coming out in stores soon! saw the ad on tv...got 4 diff covers eh! haha! lucky mum let me buy this time round! haha! got new album to listen le! yosh!
[x'mas cards] received a xmas card from my sec pal a few days ago...really wanna thank her for remembering me...coz to some of my pals...the cards are like an annual communication sia...butta gotta say a sorry to her ne..becoz she gotta wait for a few months to receive my cny card! haha! nvm lah, i will leave my contact no and email stuff for her this time..this is applicable to all those pals who i hardly contact...only thru cards...haiz! ya...this yr i am not sending any x'mas cards le..instead i will send CNY cards...so pple gotta wait longer hor? haha! butta i did sent e-cards to my pals thru e-mail lah...most of them are my chat pals though..haa!
[day 3] jw & her sis didnt follow our trip to ocean park..so the wholeday only got 5 of us. anyway, we did travel abit to get discount tickets in hk island..then we took a taxi to ocean park...again..mountainous roads..haha! the entrance fee was quite cheap (forgot how much le..ard $30) and it covered all the stuffs in the park..cable car, aquarium and theme park rides etc.
anyway, to our disappointment, we cant travel in the cable car becoz the weather is windy & they stopped the cable car service temporary. nvm...we travelled up to the upper part of ocean park by escalator...very long and steep ones..got many of them..forgot how many le. hehe~ anyway, the place was flooded by many chinese nationals..sianz
went to visit their aquarium...quite like sentosa's underwater world lah..butta somehow abit more magnifacant than ours. haha! we met a few unfriendly china pple who snatched our place to take photos or squeeze their way in to take photos..damn rude! ladies some more...haiz!
theme park ride was a fun one..pulled pf and my mum to take the roller coaster ride with my sis and me..haha! shiok sia! quite scary lah butta i didnt scream..coz i closed my eyes! wahaha! the pirate ship was a "killer".. coz my mum and pf felt uncomfortable after the ride...so they didnt dare to take anymore rides lah...their themepark wasnt big butta quite fun lor...their biggest roller coaster was off for maintainence...sobbzz!

My Hong Kong Journal-Day 2
[day 2] went to nearby tea house for breakfast @ 7.30am..damn early! then we waited for the bus to start our city tour in hk. haiz....terrible city"too"! yeah...that tour guide pronounced that way..so bo bian lah! ( i'm not english teacher mah..haha) the previous guy who fetched us frm airport didnt say that the city tour got include breakfast...kaoz! so we were the only grp who had breakfast liao...diaoz! nvm...we walked ard the streets while the rest had their tim sum breakfast with their idoit "too" guide!
the idoit damn hao lian! kept questioning us abt sg hist and he answered his own qns b4 anyone ans, i guessed no one bothered to ans anyway! then, he also kept comparing sg & hk...the city"too" was more like an excursion where we learnt abt hk's housing problem, rich men and others lah...kaoz. yeah! i am fortunate to live in sg where my house is big! diaoz! the "too" guide was bei song coz we were not very "co-operative"...we siam the breakfast which was quite costly & we siam the lunch when the city tour ended..haha! all ex stuffs..that photographer kept wanting to snap shots so that he could sell the pics! haha! lucky we didnt join them for lunch...wahahha!
the city tour included a stop to hk jewellry...pf and my sis each bought a necklace. not very ex but also not very cheap lah. however, they were quite unique lah. actually i wanna buy the same necklace pf bought...butta only got one! haiz....pf u lucky gal! nvm lah, i dun wear necklace also..muhahaha!
finally, the horrible city "too" ended..haha! we visited the peak & repulse bay ( qian shui wan). the beach @ repulse was more like a garden than a beach..nobody there de..except tourists..haha! butta, that place were fulled of rich pple...haiz...good seaview from their homes ne!
i really couldn't recall much abt the city tour le...didnt write down much on my paper also..hehe!
we went back to kowloon area to shop the nite markets, shld be nv ren jie 女人街ba..abit mixed up with another st..花园街. yap! we began our shopping trip lah..butta the person who bought the most is MS PF lah! haha! i beg she got lots of things to tell abt her shopping experience! haha!
i didnt buy much..kept looking for nice gifts for my pals..quite disappointed that the things there were not cheap lah! haiz! butta, anyway i managed to buy most of the gifts there lah...really walked until my legs got tired..haha!
took a bus to star ferry in kowloon to see the 星光大道..actually that is just a walking path beside the sea lah..the nite scenery was beautiful..can see many buildings lighted up for xmas in hk island, which is in the opposite direction of kowloon.
saw this free entrance thing to little bear musuem...so we decided to see lah...so qiao met ling lee & her pals there...kaoz..hk is not big mah! haha! butta, we didnt stop by to talk lah...a pity though.
the musuem was another disappointment...coz we only get to see the shops...the musuem still need to pay entrance fee! wat the heck! tt means last time we gotta pay to see the shops eh! haiz...wonder if the little bear musuem in korea is also the same sia?
then, i went to buy a hard rock cafe shirt...quite ex ah! i thought still the same price like the one i bought in beijing. haha! i forgot that prx can change in 2 yrs time..paiseh hor...coz actually i am the only one who wanna go hard rock lah...the rest gotta pei wo walked for so long..hah! paiseh lah!
got something happened when we were on our way to have steamboat in a restaurant. haiz..paiseh ah sometimes aunt joanna is abit blur lah...anyway, it was a challenge to walked for an hr ba? haha! nvm lah...the steamboat quite ok lah..then met aunt joanna's frens there..abit awkward lah coz we dunno them mah. hah!
finally...can go back to hotel rm to rest le..hehe! tv time...haha! not alot of tv shows lah..the china satellite tvs like showing the same drama for dunno how many episodes. butta my sis was damn happy lah..coz can see her fav idol's drama, "jiang nan jing hua meng"...haiz..me leh? didnt catch much of the new atv and tvb serials..butta nicky cheung's new drama" tian ya xia yi " is not bad..hehe~their 8 pm show is "kungfu soccer"...showing in sg now also..sucks..
atv is showing the vampire drama part 3...in sg i had seen the 1st & 2nd parts le...quite sian leh..how come can drag for so long? haha! anyway, stayed up late till 1am like tt to catch the repeat telecast of " tan pan zhuan jia"...very shiok! haha!

My Hong Kong Journal-Day 1
[day 1] reached airport @ 8am. many pple were queueing up to check in their luggages. pf was the earliest to reach, jw & her sis were a little late. i saw her parents and bro too. reached hk in'tl airport @ abt 1pm plus. we waited for quite sometime b4 the person-in-charge brought us and the rest to our respective hotels. We lived in Dorsett Garden Hotel @ jordan, nanking street. Mum & aunt joanna's room was on the same floor as mine ( with pf & sis). jw & her sis's rm was on the 10th floor. haha! damn lucky to have a bigger room coz' our rm got 3 beds..hehe! the 2-bedded rooms were damn small...especially their bathroom...horrible! anyway, got many singaporeans in the same hotel too...
went to hk island after we settled everything. we visited places like central, admiralty & causeway bay..very crowded..haha! hk island got many shopping centres, like sogo, times square & pacific etc..well, their shopping centres were quite alike lah, butta alittle diff from ours. their branded goods stores were all on the ground levels or the 1st few levels above ground. then other middle-class stores were scattered to the higher levels or basement...quite messy somehow. I am surprised not to see some brands which we commonly see in sg. for eg, ocean pacific, isetan, kinokuniya, takashimaya etc..saw popular bookshop in shatin's festival walk shopping centre though. hah!
if u like small tibits or 小吃..then u have come to the right place. got alot of shops selling all sorts of food in sticks. many of them are not available in sg yo! so must try sia!
as i said in my earlier entry that hk island got tram services. must take also!
there were many young pple there, their fashion style were quite diff from ours. alot of teens wore punk clothes..haha! oh ya! many women also wore boots...high boots..normally in white, brown & black colours. i guessed they wore it becoz of the "cold "weather ba...
if i remembered correctly, we also went to temple street 庙街 in kowloon, actually also quite near my hotel lah. got alot of tourists there and the stores sell all sorts of things. again, i wanna say that dont anyhow buy lah, must check the price all that lor. got alot of men there lah so gals be more careful! gotta squeeze urself all the way thru' the street lah..quite long..hehe! didnt buy anything there lah...their nite mkts were better than our parsa malam though.

My Hong Kong Journal-impression
I am back lah! yes! starting a new series to share my one week experience in HK. hope u guys enjoy and perhaps can let u guys know where to go when u visit HK. let's go!
[hong kong] i only visited kowloon & new territories, hk island & lantau island. population is abt 6.8 million, 95% are chinese. hk pple knows how to speak chinese, but those who can speak very good chinese are mostly from china.
[macau] made up of 3 islands-macau main island, taipa & coloane. if u took a ferry or turbojet to macau u will enter the main island. if u took a plane u will enter taipa island..where the international airport is located. i didnt visit coloane...so dunno much abt it...hehe. population of macau is abt 45,000. most of them are like hk pple, speak cantonese etc.
[hk in'tl airport @ lantau] not very grand as i thought,looked like china in'tl airport in beijing. i wondered why some pple commented that hk airport is very good or what, i dun see anything good leh...i am not bias or what. i can only say that the airport is big and the facilities there are good, got sky train to send u to gates that are very far away. it is definitely faster to pass thru' the customs in changi than hk airport.
[weather] early dec is still autumn in hk,butta the temperature started to drop day by day. at first i thought my jacket is too thick for the trip but i was wrong. haha! the temp was like 27dc on the first day and pple there already wore thick jackets. some even wore thick jackets as if they were in winter. scary ah...so hot lor..some pple gave us glances as we didnt wore jackets. haha! hk is not very humid...no clouds there, very dry. my skin cannot tahan, started to itch and etc...the winds there were chilly though. haha! macau was slightly hotter than hk, good weather! oh ya! if u got dry skin like me do bring some cream or what to make ur skin moist....this is a must!
[transport] gotta give thumbs up for the transport in hk...and the bus drivers. haha! i had took rides from buses, MTR (MRT in sg), KCR ( =train), taxi, trams, turbojet ( high class ferry..) and plane. the only vehicle that i didnt take is xiao ba ( small bus) that is more like our bus loop services. their buses got annoucement on which bustop is next and they got tv mobile. also, their train got map showing which station is next with lights to guide u and to show u which door to alight and change trains. all annoucements were in 3 lang- cantonese, mandarin and english. their kcr are very much like their mtr...dun look like a train we commonly see. haha! their bustops were diff from ours...only got a board showing which bus to queue for...dun have seats to let u sit or shelters...their mtr stations are quite old compared to ours and 90% of them are underground. their seats were made of steel, so u would easily slide off if u dun sit properly.
there are lots of buses from diff companies and their roads are very small...commonly 2 lanes only. yet, their bus drivers can drive very fast....very skillful yet dangerous. haha! i must comment that the bus drivers in lantau were the best! they can drive well and fast in mountain roads, up and down and making turns...damn swift! ichiban!
personally, sg drivers may not get used to hk roads coz there are many small roads and many junctions...damn confusing. also, their roads are very small, u need to have good skills to drive...and to siam the buses...which most of them are double-decks. the trams are like buses butta they got cable to move about. quite interesting butta the journey can be quite jerky becoz of the rails. btw, the trams are found in hk island only. transport cost there are more ex than sg, so dun complain tt sg's transport cost is ex lah....go to hk and u will know...i think other countries also like tt de..haha
cathay pacific is their national carrier. another hk airline is dragon air ( something like our silk air)
service quite ok lah, their kong jie normally will speak cantonese to u 1st...dun worry abt lang. food wise still quite ok...got branded ice creams too...haha! the entertainment service is statisfactory, much like SIA, but cannot play games..think is for biz class & above ba. no poker cards given..to my disappointment. haha! btw, i dun like their kong jie's uniform..haha! red and yellow....diaoz!
[houses/buildings] hk is very mountainous, many high-rise buildings are built on top of the mountains or on the slopes. i wonder how they come down eh...their schs are also commonly found on top of hills...lucky i dun study there, or else everyday gotta walk those steep roads. btw, many of the buildings there dun have lifts...must pei fu their stamina to climb the stairs. i wonder if their schs got lifts coz their schs are small yet very tall...at least got 6/7 storeys high. i think we all know hk houses are damn small and crampy, their hotels too..haha! space is so precious there although hk is much larger than sg. see their roads are small too...many of shops are located above ground floor...also, their shopping centres are quite strange. they are not like ours, used numbers to locate which storey etc. they use LG (lower ground for basement or underground levels), G ( ground floor..normally we say 1st floor or level 1), UG ( upper ground for higher storeys)..then the higher it gets it will be UG1, UG 2 etc...their cinemas are normally located at ground floor ba..not like ours at the highest level of the shopping centres.
[people] sadly to say i dun like hk pple tt much, they do not really have manners lah. u wont be able to hear a "sorry" or "excuse me" much there. they use words like" um goi" instead of "excuse me" when u r blocking their way. some dun even say a thing. in the food courts also like tt. for eg, got 1 person sitting on the table, then got some more seats empty. hk pple will just sit there and start to eat, without asking the person if the seats are occupied or what. we even met some horrible pple. we were queueing up to buy tics for the ferry trip to macau, then got an old lady there behind us. as we left the counter she said in cantonese that we didnt buy tics and blocking her way...WAT THE HECK?! their old pple are not very nice ah so dun offend them..hahah! also, many pple smoked here and there, very easy kenna 2nd hand smoke...be careful. they can smoke in air-con places like those small tea house or restaurants...so gotta tahan lah. many ladies there also smoked, students smoked with their uniforms....ugly scene. ( sg also have lah...butta wif uniforms...havent seen one) normally, they wont straight away recognise sgporeans coz we looked like them. but once u started to speak singlish they will know u r sgporeans. haha! normally they will try to speak mandarin to u or english. if u know cantonese, the better lor...or ya, even u speak cantonese they will most likely know u r a foreigner coz the way we speak is diff from theirs. hehe!
[lifestyle] macau is more slow-moving comapred to hk. hk life is hectic. pple walked damn fast on the streets and they are impatient pple, so dun block their way on the streets. didnt stay long enough to comment on their lifestyle butta it was quite clear that they dun like to stay in their homes coz houses are too small. so their streets are filled with pple in the nite. damn crampy. it is not like sg where perhaps city area is crampy or got more pple. hk ah is nearly all the streets....full of pple...alamak! the cost of living in hk is higher than sg...butta their food is quite ok lah...not very ex. some are even cheaper than ours...shall discuss in my next entry. shopping is not as cheap as we thought. u must meet the discount season or else dun try to shop in shopping centres. nite mkts are not as cheap as we thought too..bargain skills must be good. looked ard 1st b4 buying as many stalls sell the same thing with diff prices.
[food] there are lots of variety...depends on what u eat. they got food courts tt specialise in congee and others offer many set lunches and dinners, breakfast too. if u cant eat alot then gotta consider carefully ba coz those sets are quite large for a person...sure can full ur stomach. haha! they even got steamboat meals tt cost only abt 9+ per person! they eat beef alot and their chicken rice dun looked good to me...meat quite hard. haha! curry fishballs are famous there but their fishballs are harder than ours, very diff. if u do not take spicy stuffs..gd for u coz hk pple dun take chili de...so hard to find chili ah! the max they got chili oil lor....or else nothing at all...ketchup only or soy sauce. u may find their food plain lah...but u will get use to it fast de.
[communication] they got cable service. TVB & ATV are the hk tv stations, like our mediacorp. what i see in hotel basically got satellite tv from china and mtv indonesia...quite boring. if u like hk dramas then gotta wait till night time ba...really sianz lah! they got 11 tele-companies. if u got auto-roam they u will notice their service provider keeps changing. their hp packages are quite ex too, like ours but u can find brands that are not found in sg. many pple there used sony ericsson ( ann's hp model and ml's) and flip phones. also, they like to hang their hp on their necks....even if their hp are big..diaoz!
next entry will be brieftly abt what i experienced in hk for the past 1 week.
[hong kong] i only visited kowloon & new territories, hk island & lantau island. population is abt 6.8 million, 95% are chinese. hk pple knows how to speak chinese, but those who can speak very good chinese are mostly from china.
[macau] made up of 3 islands-macau main island, taipa & coloane. if u took a ferry or turbojet to macau u will enter the main island. if u took a plane u will enter taipa island..where the international airport is located. i didnt visit coloane...so dunno much abt it...hehe. population of macau is abt 45,000. most of them are like hk pple, speak cantonese etc.
[hk in'tl airport @ lantau] not very grand as i thought,looked like china in'tl airport in beijing. i wondered why some pple commented that hk airport is very good or what, i dun see anything good leh...i am not bias or what. i can only say that the airport is big and the facilities there are good, got sky train to send u to gates that are very far away. it is definitely faster to pass thru' the customs in changi than hk airport.
[weather] early dec is still autumn in hk,butta the temperature started to drop day by day. at first i thought my jacket is too thick for the trip but i was wrong. haha! the temp was like 27dc on the first day and pple there already wore thick jackets. some even wore thick jackets as if they were in winter. scary ah...so hot lor..some pple gave us glances as we didnt wore jackets. haha! hk is not very humid...no clouds there, very dry. my skin cannot tahan, started to itch and etc...the winds there were chilly though. haha! macau was slightly hotter than hk, good weather! oh ya! if u got dry skin like me do bring some cream or what to make ur skin moist....this is a must!
[transport] gotta give thumbs up for the transport in hk...and the bus drivers. haha! i had took rides from buses, MTR (MRT in sg), KCR ( =train), taxi, trams, turbojet ( high class ferry..) and plane. the only vehicle that i didnt take is xiao ba ( small bus) that is more like our bus loop services. their buses got annoucement on which bustop is next and they got tv mobile. also, their train got map showing which station is next with lights to guide u and to show u which door to alight and change trains. all annoucements were in 3 lang- cantonese, mandarin and english. their kcr are very much like their mtr...dun look like a train we commonly see. haha! their bustops were diff from ours...only got a board showing which bus to queue for...dun have seats to let u sit or shelters...their mtr stations are quite old compared to ours and 90% of them are underground. their seats were made of steel, so u would easily slide off if u dun sit properly.
there are lots of buses from diff companies and their roads are very small...commonly 2 lanes only. yet, their bus drivers can drive very fast....very skillful yet dangerous. haha! i must comment that the bus drivers in lantau were the best! they can drive well and fast in mountain roads, up and down and making turns...damn swift! ichiban!
personally, sg drivers may not get used to hk roads coz there are many small roads and many junctions...damn confusing. also, their roads are very small, u need to have good skills to drive...and to siam the buses...which most of them are double-decks. the trams are like buses butta they got cable to move about. quite interesting butta the journey can be quite jerky becoz of the rails. btw, the trams are found in hk island only. transport cost there are more ex than sg, so dun complain tt sg's transport cost is ex lah....go to hk and u will know...i think other countries also like tt de..haha
cathay pacific is their national carrier. another hk airline is dragon air ( something like our silk air)
service quite ok lah, their kong jie normally will speak cantonese to u 1st...dun worry abt lang. food wise still quite ok...got branded ice creams too...haha! the entertainment service is statisfactory, much like SIA, but cannot play games..think is for biz class & above ba. no poker cards given..to my disappointment. haha! btw, i dun like their kong jie's uniform..haha! red and yellow....diaoz!
[houses/buildings] hk is very mountainous, many high-rise buildings are built on top of the mountains or on the slopes. i wonder how they come down eh...their schs are also commonly found on top of hills...lucky i dun study there, or else everyday gotta walk those steep roads. btw, many of the buildings there dun have lifts...must pei fu their stamina to climb the stairs. i wonder if their schs got lifts coz their schs are small yet very tall...at least got 6/7 storeys high. i think we all know hk houses are damn small and crampy, their hotels too..haha! space is so precious there although hk is much larger than sg. see their roads are small too...many of shops are located above ground floor...also, their shopping centres are quite strange. they are not like ours, used numbers to locate which storey etc. they use LG (lower ground for basement or underground levels), G ( ground floor..normally we say 1st floor or level 1), UG ( upper ground for higher storeys)..then the higher it gets it will be UG1, UG 2 etc...their cinemas are normally located at ground floor ba..not like ours at the highest level of the shopping centres.
[people] sadly to say i dun like hk pple tt much, they do not really have manners lah. u wont be able to hear a "sorry" or "excuse me" much there. they use words like" um goi" instead of "excuse me" when u r blocking their way. some dun even say a thing. in the food courts also like tt. for eg, got 1 person sitting on the table, then got some more seats empty. hk pple will just sit there and start to eat, without asking the person if the seats are occupied or what. we even met some horrible pple. we were queueing up to buy tics for the ferry trip to macau, then got an old lady there behind us. as we left the counter she said in cantonese that we didnt buy tics and blocking her way...WAT THE HECK?! their old pple are not very nice ah so dun offend them..hahah! also, many pple smoked here and there, very easy kenna 2nd hand smoke...be careful. they can smoke in air-con places like those small tea house or restaurants...so gotta tahan lah. many ladies there also smoked, students smoked with their uniforms....ugly scene. ( sg also have lah...butta wif uniforms...havent seen one) normally, they wont straight away recognise sgporeans coz we looked like them. but once u started to speak singlish they will know u r sgporeans. haha! normally they will try to speak mandarin to u or english. if u know cantonese, the better lor...or ya, even u speak cantonese they will most likely know u r a foreigner coz the way we speak is diff from theirs. hehe!
[lifestyle] macau is more slow-moving comapred to hk. hk life is hectic. pple walked damn fast on the streets and they are impatient pple, so dun block their way on the streets. didnt stay long enough to comment on their lifestyle butta it was quite clear that they dun like to stay in their homes coz houses are too small. so their streets are filled with pple in the nite. damn crampy. it is not like sg where perhaps city area is crampy or got more pple. hk ah is nearly all the streets....full of pple...alamak! the cost of living in hk is higher than sg...butta their food is quite ok lah...not very ex. some are even cheaper than ours...shall discuss in my next entry. shopping is not as cheap as we thought. u must meet the discount season or else dun try to shop in shopping centres. nite mkts are not as cheap as we thought too..bargain skills must be good. looked ard 1st b4 buying as many stalls sell the same thing with diff prices.

many things to say~
[ling lee]hmm...finally saw ur blog just now. ok lah no wonder cant contact u! u were so busy sia! haha! well, guessed u had reached taiwan now le lah! pray hard that ur hp connection will be back ah or else dunno how to contact u in hk! enjoy yourself!
[yday] went to visit my grandpa in SGH instead of today. quite sad to see him in this state now butta nvm the hellish days for him will soon be over coz' he is moving into my house. dad and mum making plans for him and my cousin's maid may probably be coming to stay in my house while we are away for hols (dad gotta work..)
hmm..i have never lived with my grandparents since young, never talked to them also, coz i dunno how to speak hainanese (haiz...yi han). wondering how is life gonna be with grandpa in my house now. gotta rearrange the furnitures in the 3rd bedroom (which is more like a restroom). gotta move 2 bikes out, sewing machine out, dad's comp will stay there with the tv set and sofa ba. then grandpa's bed will move in...alot of work. find my house space big butta dunno where to put things. also gotta take out the music instruments in the room..the most troublesome one is my sis's organ. haha! hoped that he can leave SGH soon...he kenna 肺部细菌感染, can kill if he cannot recover. haiz...saw another patient in his ward who is in the final stage, his family members are with him 24 hrs by his bed....very ke lian..
[coming week] tml going to kbox! wow so long didnt meet my 死党! haha! sis going prom night on tues @ york hotel...i believe she will shock her pals ba! wahahah! let me take a pic first!
thurs leaving for hk le...havent done any packing yet, mum had only prepared the stuffs for the trip, took the jackets out to 吹风. yday she also changed some money to hk dollars..no small notes..diaoz. i was joking that we are going to bring a few pieces of notes only to hk ..so ke lian! hahah! hope that dad will drive us to airport on thurs...gotta take cab back when we return if grandpa move into my house ( coz no one taking care of him)
got new tv show to watch..channel u's final show "零楼"...very interesting, finally can see brian wong in some serious acting! haha! channel u ! u r the best! hehe~

something about me #10 - little achievements
[#10] well, today's topic is about my little achievements from young till now. None of them, to me are big achievements lah. however, these small achievements are also very important lah..in my life and i believe in everybody's life too. let me "restore" my memory to see what little achievements i had..hahaha!
1. baby champion (1986)
2.swimming proficiency award/ national survival swimming award/ distance award
3.best student award in religious class (1994/1997)
4.cchsm co syf (silver)..together with the effort of others
5.2nd national inter-jc chinese current affair quiz (2nd in group/ 优胜奖 personal)
6.abacus calculation skills ( basic grade) / mental arithemetic skills (grade 4)
7.swimming carnival-novelty event (bronze)
Haiz...so few ah? haha..i am not a enthu student ba? wahahha! ok lah actually some achievements to me are not just prizes or certs lah,like doing cip and sch ogl to me were achievements too. these activities did helped me to shape my character and built my confidence..especially ogl...haha!
well, going to do volunteering work next yr with another buddhist association, hoped that i can contribute something back to the society.
hmm...didnt take any test for my guitar and japanese lesson. actually, i feel stress when it comes to exams or tests. learning guitar and japanese are plainly on my interest, why always gotta have tests leh? haiz...i dun need a cert to prove that i can do well in them ba? they are my aims now, i wanna play the guitar well and speak fluent japanese..haha! hope that they will be my achievements soon!
[introduce my folks] err..this is basically for pf and jw lah...better let u know my mum, aunt and sis first b4 going to hk..haha!
my mum no need much intro lah hor? u can call her aunt or aunt Frances lah...she wont mind de.
aunt joanna is not my relatvie, she is my mum's pal. however, my dad's family all knew her lah..haha! sorta my family friend sia...
my sis abit troublesome..ahha! her name is hui tuan..butta dun pronouce it in chinese...it actually sounds like "wei duan" in hainanese. dun understand? nvm still can call her in her chinese name-wei xuan 纬璇. ah now more easy le ba...why i wanna say abt her dialect name pronounciation ne? becoz many pple pronouced it wrongly..pple thought "hui tuan" as "慧团" or some other names then she unhappy..hahah!
[busy woman]...got another gathering added to my list, that is guitar chalet during 19-21 dec @ east coast. dunno which day i will be going coz i am not staying overnight. they are going to have a x'mas party..diaoz..gotta buy gift..haiz why leh? all thanks to senior bob ah! haha! ok lah, hope i can give the present to someone i know...pray hard*

2a06 class voting booth
[class booth] wah seh gotta advertise my class booth to all of you! this voting booth is open to all pple of 2a06 and pple who are from SRJC (provided u know who we are lah!) pls do support hor coz i wanna know some funny facts about my class! Arigato gozaimasu!

final battle~mixed feelings
[tml-geog paper] me havent finish studying ah...just wanna come up here and update what will happen this week ba..hoho! anyway, i didnt do well for geog p2, really jia lat. now gotta bang on p1..and this paper is not my best paper...normally my human geog is better sia..sobz! anyway to all geog students, work harder for this paper ok? yeah! jia you!
[hist students]..wah seh finished exam le! congrats hor! haha..dun worry i dont envy u guys..hahaha!
[this week] this week like quite busy like that..diaoz! no lah...wed finish geog paper in the afternoon, then thurs going out with my mum, sis and aunt joanna to have buffet @ orchard hotel.
then fri leh? meeting mdm tan and my classmates..butta i dunno the venue and time eh! very happy to hear that 8 pple are confirm going. wow! another class outing eh?! hehe~long time didnt have class outing le...hope this meeting will be a fun one!
[hk trip] nothing much to say now. just bought a jacket yday @ GWW in hougang mall. looked like a thicker version of winter breaker...quite cheap also. last time i went there didnt saw this jacket..lucky i went again yday! haha! anyway, just nice ah i didnt want to buy a jacket too thick..i mean i am going to hk only mah..not japan or korea leh...so thick for what...btw they are heavy lor.ahha! the colour quite bright lah..hehe~

(coz i'm emotionless? haha! kns!) ok finished crapping le...now the most bothering thing is to find a job. haiz......can anyone help me? thanks

friday & saturday
[friday]went out with mum and sis to orchard. haiz....dad told my mum to bring us out, coz we cooped at home for too long liao...go out & relax. the mission for this trip is to shop..for my sis's prom nite dress. haiz i am like accompanying them sia...sianz leh! no lah, actually i also went to converse to check out the canverse shoes...which my mum called them basketball shoes...her sch shoes last time..ahhaha. anyway going to buy a pair after exams..can wear to hk le! hehe!
went to swensens last min. i know many pple will be laughing at me...coz honestly, truely, this was my first time going to swensens. hahahahha! ya i had never eaten any stuffs from swensens..hoho! err...heard some comments from my pals abt the food in swensens so i didnt ordered western food. sis ate the same thing as mine....black pepper seafood pasta+french fries+ black tarts (ice cream)...yeah! quite nice lah de food, butta i will go to a pasta restaurant next time if i wanna eat pasta...coz more variety of choices ba!
went to a few shopping malls but didnt find any nice dress for sis...saw this shop in heeren called "mu"..think by a singaporean designer ba?! the clothes there quite special butta the price also VERY NICE! haha! finally..we walked to OG...and bought her dress le...phew~
there's only one thing i can say...the dress looks good...and i know my sis will look good too...butta me kenna suan by my mum....sianz! hey i just like to wear shirts and pants lah!!! sobbzzz...
[saturday] yday night..went with pf and sherry to have a jap meal with sensei @ nijumaru in cuppage plaza. that place fulled of japanese...got young singaporeans there though..surprised. haha! ok waited for like 30 mins for sensei who was late...waited until my stomach started growling..ahha!
ok...that place is not really a restaurant lah...i also dunno how to say..low-class restaurant? ok lah...the food that dont cost alot..quite ok lah...next time can ask my pals to go. the waitresses there were very friendly..ahha! btw, got many singaporeans there also..wow!
ate quite alot eh...from katsu kare (curry pork rice), to tempura, to squid, still got samma (qiu dao yu) & 2 other types of fishes..err...drank green tea, also ate fried oysters, gyoza & others..hoho! very full ne!
actually sensei said he could sponsor us 50%...butta in the end he treated us the dinner lah..(no need to pay! hehe!) the food there not bad eh..very nice! still got alot of food that i havent tried..hoho!
anyway, yday's meal was something special lah, coz i never tried b4 such japanese food, always eat sushi lah like that only...

[coming week] got 3 killer papers. ao maths p2, econs p3 and geog p2. jia lat! haiz...got quite alot to catch up sia~help!

[today] finished my ao maths p1 this afternoon. only one word to describe. HARD! haiz...actually also abit rushy lah although i tried to keep my pace fast i still dont have enough time to finish all my qns. so some qns just attempted abit here and there..jia lat. butta some qns are rather ok...haiz...guess paper 2 will be quite hard too...help~
[revoluton] well, quite happy that i can post chinese songs now! hehe! err...what do i mean by revolution ne? well, it is just that i dont really want my blog to be too personal and boring, like the entries are mainly on what i did and blah blah...i want it to be informative & interactive. hmm...of coz i will still blog what i had done (special stuffs etc) ya! i will begin to start my new series of topics after exams..now u guys may have only read the series of "something about me". i am going to write something new sia..muahhahaha! ok lah, this also apply to my class blog. maybe my classmates can add something new there too coz the blog is kinda boring ah!

[A levels] today just finished my 6 hrs long cla papers...actually quite disappointed with myself lah, coz i didnt do well for paper 2 and actually both papers are quite easy ah...what the heck?! i kenna killed in zhao ju for paper 1..haiz..hope my compo wont kill me and help me instead..pray hard!
gp dunno can pass or not...i dont find the passages difficult lah butta sometimes it is hard to predict how well u had done lah...essay wise well i did the qns on poverty...i think the max i can score is just a botherline pass ba?! dunno why i think i cant score ah...sharks!
quite envy some of my pals coz their next paper is like 11 days away...diaoz....and when is my next paper? 9th nov...ao maths p1. abit stress ah though this paper is not counted. i still hope i can pass it, still remember my little promise i made to myself. yeah!

[to meiling] hey thanks for ya tribute! err..actually i am really that cold meh? haha! well, i really hope that you will meet someone better soon! no need to wait for 5 yrs~ ya...all the best for ya Alevels...hope you can wear that sun yan zi's shirt ya?! hehe!
[sick] i am sick for 4 days...have to eat medicine regularly to control the flu and fever. i think i kenna liu xing xing gan mao ba? coz the weather suddenly became quite cold and windy thesedays. anyway i am quite worried lah, coz it affected my concentration span on my studies lah..very suay thesedays leh..how come i am getting weaker huh? haiz...
[cds] finally my sis bought her long-waited yanzi's cd this evening and got a black shirt. well, she can wear it lah..haha! (not bad sia). ok anyway i got 2 new albums to listen lah..one is "stefanie" and the other is jeff chang's "xia yi ge yong yuan". finally my mum used her voucher to buy the cd for me lah..waited for 3 YEARS liao..hor sis? longer than urs leh?! haha!
[final battle] getting closer and closer to nov 4 liao. honestly, i am starting to get abit panic ah..coz i got tons of things that i havent revised or memorised u know...stressed! now i just cant change my focus to other subjects except cla and econs...even maths i will stop for awhile...haiz
yday night....went to bed at 12 am plus...but can only sleep at 5.30am. dunno why cannot sleep. definitely not becoz of the coming battle. i just dont know why lah.
[others] my mum also shi mian a few days back..but strangely came a bad news. a distant relative had passed away the next day. wah seh my mum got what magic powers ah? how come so unlucky ah? i somehow hope that this wont happen again coz i scared got bad news coming...

ThE gRuDgE
[monday] went with sis, mum and aunt joanna to watch "the grudge". well, basically it was definitely more interesting and horrifying than the previous movie i had watched.."ghost". got some quite er xin scenes butta the story quite ok lah...u will definitely understand the whole plot, though it was in bits and pieces..like example u will see an ending first then it will come back to tell u what actually had happened,so u wont miss a thing. why i wanna say this was becoz my sis who had watched the original ju-on 1 said the plot was very hard to understand..the details were not explained clearly so quite chim ah. anyway, one of the scenes was the policemen found 2 dead bodies in the attic and a jaw that was ripped off from yoko, the previous housekeeper. her body leh? her body went back to the sch and killed alex, who was the in-charge of the welfare service...when she turned back to see alex..wah seh her face was damn er xin...remembered her jaws were ripped off? u can see her tough coming out damn long and that was really er xin..hahaha! there were quite a few scenes when the hands just suddenly came out to hold the people..haha! sarah michelle gellar's acting was quite good lah...so is this movie worth watching? hmm...i can say yes lah, though the plot was quite simple..dun be too shocked to be kenna horrified when the movie had just started for a few mins...hehe!
[friday] going to sch for my last gp consultation. saw from jw's entry in class blog, i am going to get back my cla p1 mock exam paper ba...haiz. scared gp mock i will fail ( i think i will fail anyway) but hope that i can realise my mistakes during the consultation. yeah finally, i wanna say a big GANBATTE to all my pals out there studying....good luck guys!

~the story of a unlucky girl~
[blogger] this is the second time i am writing this entry. dunno why just now my entry just disappeared and left the title only! damn it!
[my toes] hurt my toes yday after a big bang against the corners of the wall. result? toes kenna swollen ah...now limping like a pai kah gal...kaoz! haiz...can only blame myself lah...toes no eyes mah! haiz...this is not the first time my toes hit the walls ah butta it is the first time they kenna swollen ah..then today go to sch like a pai kah ah...wearing slippers...diaoz. 1st time i wear slippers to sch eh! so ugly!
anyway, i only went for cla p1 mock exam today. didnt finish studying paper 2 so didnt attend. anyway my toes are giving me aches ah...kaoz....wish me luck guys!

[today] went to toa payoh lib with sc to study cla. not very crowded butta we cant find a table lah..haha! then went to macdonald's to mug...saw channel u's bus...with the name "zhi zhi zu"..then i knew that "jie tou da pai dang" was shooting in toa payoh centre. saw quan yi feng rushing to kick the ball then byran wong and the li sisters running to their buses to get the net and ball...byran very bad ah he snatched away quan yi feng's net...hahaa! the game ended outside the lib and i was watching from macdonalds...good view sia! hehe!
[family] mum went out to tan pan lah....jia bian lah! dunno why got such pple in my family?! damn irritating de! haiz...pls let me have some peace ba!
[juniors] heard from sc as well as vick that the current sec 4s didnt do too well for their prelims...i nearly got a shock coz they are getting results like 18, 20 eh? alamak they are smart fellas lor? why got such a result? i already got no face to see my sis's results liao....haiz! maybe she should really go to poly ba...see myself in such a state now also ke lian..do consider wisely if u wanna go jc.
[ulcers] well, i have been battling with ulcers for several months...and it hasnt stop now..today found out got a new ulcer again! qi si wo le! dunno why so suay de...damn pain lor...really affected my shi yu these few months eh? kaoz~

[kance] had a long chat with her via msn. she is a friend of mine from taiwan english club. one of my good pals from taiwan. well, she is planning to get married in 2006..that is cool! i was joking with her that she can wait for another 40 yrs...2046. get the joke? haha! then we were chatting about how to slim down...sobbz...i am getting fat ah! how? heard some news from her as well...JY (another chat pal) had left for italy a few days b4...to receive a prize for her design..fashion design some more! wow! so proud of her!
[teddy] another pal of mine from seattle. met him today in tec's chatroom. well he is coming to the philippines this yr end to visit his bro...cool! hope he will enjoy his trip there!
[1st time] yeah....in my 18 yrs of life...1st time i absent myself from a mock exam. econs is the subject...and i think no one from my class went for it...dunno how ms gan will feel? wanna kill all of us ba? haiz

~ feeling abit boring ~
[counting down to the great battle]..haiz...stress and boring are all i can say for my life now. really sianz..this week got 3 mock exams in a roll, wondering should i attend all? coz i really think that i dont have time to prepare for all exams and i dun have time to study for my papers...really sianz..
[unlucky] yestersay something happened to me..and that was the 2nd time le..by the same person. pf and jw u guys thought i am damn unlucky. yeah right i am! kaoz...i promised there wont be a 3rd time liao. i always prevent myself from being nasty but then dun try my patience. to others: next time when u msg pls dun anyhow use capital letters throughout, pple will get the wrong meaning...or perhaps pple will feel bei song. i wont be nice anymore.
[new boyfriend] haha! thesedays i cant watch tv as much as i like liao...like long time i didnt sit in my living room...now i got a new bf le...and that is....RADIO! hahah! everyday i listen to radio from morning till night...finally catching up with my new stuffs ya! coz last time or even now i got lots of cds to listen and i hardly listen to radio...kinda outdated. butta now i am not ok? hehe! praying for the battle to pass quickly so i can be with my husband (tv) again!

[毕业典礼] 今天早上。。8.30 匆匆忙忙的赶去学校，差点就要迟到了！过后发现我有好多事情要做。。天啊！首先，ms gan忘了拿 horse-shoe collarpin 给我们，过后还得帮她拿同学的电话号码，还要帮忙分好多东西给同学们。。。好麻烦呃！9.15。。毕业典礼终于开始了，有点沉闷，没办法。。咳！我非常“荣幸”地可以坐在 ms gan的旁边。。哈哈！她时不时就说有关谭先生的事情。。比如看到谭先生上台领奖，她会很兴奋地鼓掌和尖叫。。好像他的超级影迷。哈哈！
可怜的阿芳绯闻她也知道了。。还说阿芳有眼光哟！我想我们的笑声很多人都能听见吧？！
ms gan 过后还是有跟我说话。。我还怕说错话呃！最欠扁的问题是问我谁会是A水准的第一名。我想了想便说。。应该会是连先生还是谭先生吧。她非常不同意地说。。是谭先生。。还要我跟她打赌。。我才不要呢！
其他的节目还有曾老爷的献词。。他说的英文有点怪，不过总的来说还好啦！训育主任 philip tan则唱了“朋友”。。还不哦错哦！虽然他唱错了歌词却一点都不慌张。
典礼结束后，大家都去找老师们拍照留恋，我得请朋友帮我冲洗照片啦。多谢你们了！
[感想]有点纳闷，因为大考要来了。得离开这间学校和我的朋友了。。却不是很舍不得，跟中学时一样。哈哈！没有什么感情吧。。不过在 SR 的这两年的确学了不少东西，也尝试了不少东西。比如。。orientation grp leader, 文化周的策划队伍，代表学校参加比赛，吉他团的 committee, 还有新年节目的司仪。。真的是新的体验，我终于相信我也可以当个学生领袖。。
非常谢谢学校给我这些机会！

empty heart
[graduation day in 2 days time] saw the notice board this afternoon. A06 was the last class in arts stream and the whole cohort. very scary! just see the percentage will make u feel scared. felt very discouraged, for the fact that my class didnt do well and i didnt do my best. haiz....this moment i felt so empty inside me...everything. my brain and my heart...even my feelings. however, wanna congratulate cl and kj for their improvements. i still believe (gotta believe) that we shall do better in the final battle yeah? ya...encouragement is mostly needed now!
wondering how boring is the graduation day..hahaha! kinda saddist here. seeing other pple do well and u saw ur rotten results...really terrible eh...ching ah u better buck up ah! less than a month to go le...dont let your ah ma and ah pa down...:(

~golden friday~
[mdm tan] well today she was kinda shock coz she didnt know we knew her big day. hahaha! must thank ml hor?! ok well, my class celebrated her big day today ( actual day shld be sat or sun ba? ) ....during gp lesson. we bought a haagen daz ice cream cake and it was like $70? tt was what i heard ok? err...that was my first time eating an ice cream cake and my first time eating something from haagen daz...ya sua gu ching! well, the cake was quite hard at first but then it melted quite fast too. all i can say is that i still prefer to eat cakes lah, they are much nicer. haha!
err..anyway hoped she enjoyed herself in sch today lah..
hmm...waited for an hour for my gp consultation, thinking hard what to ask mdm tan. in the end, we were just asking qns from the jc prelim paper..haiz..what the heck? marrissa and kj were abit quiet lah...ann,mz, les and me were like kept asking qns whenever we saw a qns..hahaha! i guess my other 3 gp consultations will be more serious ba coz only my group will be seeing her...today got 2 groups...stress!
[evening] 4pm ba...my family and i went to punggol park to excercise, like a family day. haha! it has been a long time since my family last went to excercise together. eh i did 3 sports at one go ne..badminton, jogging and cycling. it was my first time playing badminton outside, coz i always play in sch mah. very happy to bring my bike out coz long time didnt cycle le, i scared my bike will rust at home. haha! dad ran 5 rounds...that was good coz he didnt jog after he injured his legs...after that we went to eat bak gu teh and pig trotter at a nearby coffeeshop...very nice eh! mum only drank lemon tea..haha!
[slim down]..haiz...i kenna haunted by these 2 words everyday...kenna nagged by my mum and dad to slim down...or else go hk dunno got what pants to wear..alamak. grow fat is so easy but reduce the fat is so hard...haiz...xin you yu er li bu zu ah! help!
[graduation day]...wed is my last day of school. graduation ceremony will start at 8.30am. well, not much feelings abt it lah. now the bothering thing is my report book..haiz.. maybe borrow my fren's camera to take some pics ba..too lazy to buy film lah. as you know my dad dun intend to buy a digital camera yet..so i dunno gotta wait how long. now bring my that super camera abit paiseh ah...my that pentax camera is good lah...got good lens and long zooms butta too heavy and not digital..
[2004] sch is ending soon, Alevels are coming round the corner. i am not happy with yr 2004 lah. many things happened. 1. didnt celebrate chinese new year 2. family problems 3. jc2 results sux 4. 2 hamsters left
honestly i dont think i can make it to university. there wont be miracles lor. maybe if i can pass all subjects will be a miracle but definitely i wont pass well to enter uni lah. thinking what to do after alevels. maybe i will work for awhile and plan where i shall go after i get my results next yr.

[cds] haha! i think i will ying qi gong fen again after u guys read it...lolz! ok so what had i done? well i had burnt quite alot of cds from sept till now...let me show u the list...
1. 4 jeff chang's cd
2. 5566+ cai cun jia ( a few mins ago)
3. tension+others
4. another mix album of jap and cpop songs.
on the other hand, my sis burnt S.E.N.S 's latest best collections from her pal's cd...hahaha!
nothing to be too happy about lah, coz kenna scolded by my mum lah..u know i had used quite alot of cds and cd covers....well, basically i burn cds for several reasons...
1. there are only a few songs i like
2. too few tracks in an album...not worth money...u know cpop cds are always ard 10 songs...
3. cant be bought in sg
4. cant get permission to buy
as you know my mum dun anyhow let me buy cds lor, i am still waiting for her tower records's voucher to buy jeff chang's latest album...will be a long wait..haiz..
[prelims] got back my results lah...facing the same situation for all other exams this yr..common tests and mid-yr.. so how to tell my parents leh? haiz..no improvement lah..except for maths and gp. i find myself ridiculous lah..pple can do so well why cant i ? less than a month to Alevels le...gotta force myself to put in 100% effort. here we go!

~ overseas trip~
some information for my hong kong trip :
date: 2/12/2004- 8/12/2004
flight: cathay pacific morning flight to hk and night flight back to sg.
places: hong kong main island, lantau island, macau.
people going: mum, sis, aunt joanna, puifang, jiawen & her sis and me.
[nam ho]...met my mum and aunt joanna there...settle the stuffs lah...i wondered how my mum can influence pf to extend her stay from 4 days to 7 days?! ya...coz she gotta return to sg alone if she stay for abt 4 days....ah wen and her sis are going to guangzhou after that...hoho! hopes she enjoys her trip there~ basically quite happy lah...though i kenna share the same rm with my sis and pf ( dunno what will happen)...haha! pillow fight? nah i dun think so. eh...hope that we can meet some artise if we can visit tvb ba..hahahaha! now got some motivation to study le ba..
well, this will be my first time traveling with my family and friends...i mean normally u wont mix them together right? and also my first time going on a free & easy trip...hoho! better hope that nothing goes wrong from now to dec.....pray hard!
[prelim results] hmm...got back my cla paper...managed to pass ah...but i was not statisfied with my lit paper...compre paper was ok...lang paper i didnt do very well...just pass. so paper 1 pull my marks up lah.. but other subjects leh? haiz....tml getting back my geo papers...jia lat!

my parents bei song taiwan lah..so dun wan to go le...(my mum said dun let then earn our money...hahhaha!) hmm...mum went to tour agency today to check on hk trips...which means i am likely to go to hk and macau area lah...actually korea was considered butta quite expensive and the trip was centred on skiing...not really worthwhile...maybe next yr's summer can go ba...
