Review:
It's nothing new to watch dramas talking about drama production. However, "TLOTD" showed another aspect of this industry by focusing on the producer and screenwriter of the drama. The storyline about the cast became secondary, but they are still important to build the whole plot of "TLOTD". I quite enjoy the drama, though Anthony is too strict for my liking. Luckily there are cheerful roles like Go Eun and Hyun Min so the atmosphere of the drama was not too dry and boring.
Kim Myung Min is known for acting in serious roles, and Anthony is no exception, just that this time round there are more romance for the actor and I am glad he handled well with it. Anthony is not down right boring. His story is rather touching, though the ending for him is not what I wanted. (Don't worry he got the girl...lol!) Chemistry with Jung Ryu Won was great, even off-screen as well. KMM was expressive and handled emotional scenes very well. Perfect execution!
It has been a long time since I last watched JRW's drama. She is someone who like to act in very different characters, need not to be always pretty etc. Go Eun is the "happy candy" in the drama, and thanks to her we saw how Anthony was "melted". Hahaha! Liked her natural performance.
Si Won returns with an actor role. I am glad he made improvements as his acting is not restricted to acting "cool" this time round. He could be quite exaggerating with his expressions but that's what Hyun Min does! I liked his scenes with Oh Ji Eun, so much bickering and laughter.
Oh Ji Eun is new to me, and I am not that interested about Min Ah, but I knew somehow she wld end up with Hyun Min. Hahaha! Luckily she's not one evil woman who played dirty tricks to the lead couple, or else Ji Eun wld just fall to the usual "bad woman" category.
It's a pity that the ratings for the drama was not good, but this does not mean it's a bad production. Worth watching!
