Love Letter No 110 - Ten Love

Dear S,
Scattered amongst half written poems,
partially journaled meltdowns, songs without
towering chorus, verses lying in wait of a bridge,
there are remnants of feelings savored yet unexpressed.
Gathered up, sorted, organized, for all the world, these add up
perfectly to Ten. The ultimate number of
(love potion no9) + 1 = 10.
The descriptor for ideal infatuation in sync.
Sweet Sweet Ten.

With warm and tender affection,
LarryG

Blessing for Joyful Sunshine

May joyful sunshine light your paths,
May the delight of a shower christen
your bubbly laughter,
May a cozy moment of shelter from storm
incite your playful spirit.
May togetherness enrich
moments of the days.
May the breath of sweetness
flow in the breezes.
Slan Abhaile.

Love Letter No 109 - Honey Love

Dear Donut Girl,
The sweetness of your nectar
is an instinctive irresistible urge.
There in the center of it all your
sweetness awaits. How wonderful
it is and then to hear you call out,
"Honey!"

You glaze me Donut Girl.

With warm and tender affection,
LarryG

Love Letter No 108 - Rainbow Love

Dear S,
Red as cardinal's crest,
Orange as morning sun,
Yellow as corn silk,
Green as pine needles,
Blue as jay's wing,
Indigo as crow down,
Violet as sunset's gasp,

Colors come gently,
each from a unique
place, in regal display.
We aren't missing out,
we are enjoining, yes,
and joining the rainbow.

With warm and tender affection,
LarryG

Where Butterflies Fly

Do you know
where the butterflies are?
Along the hill
the milkweed’s sparse
Off the main trail, above the trees,
There’s a field above the stream.

Do you know
where the butterflies are?
The stomach flutters, and you wish on a star
the chest feels tight, and it fills your mind,
soulbirds fly into your dream

Chorus:
Freedom from the cocoon
We go sailing with the new moon
We are soaring
Where butterlies fly

Do you know
where the butterflies are?
Out on the porch in the back yard
A shady swing and a garden fair
Butterflies giving us wings

Do you know
where the butterflies are?
The stomach flutters, and you wish on a star
the chest feels tight, and it fills your mind,
soulbirds fly into your dream.

Chorus:
Freedom from the cocoon
We go sailing with the new moon
We are soaring
Where butterlies fly

above the tree line

Do you know
where the butterflies are?
 Along the hill
where the milkweed grows,
Off the main trail,
above the tree line,
in the field above the
gurgling stream.

Do you know
where the butterflies are?
The stomach flutters,
the chest feels tight,
the head feels light,
the eyes lock
The butterflies, yes,
I know where they are.

Love Letter No 107 - Waiting Love

Dear S,
Honestly, waiting happens.
In all things, it's part of life.
And being in that mode is not simple.
But it has been well said that
the gift of waiting increases true value.
Let the clock tick, fast, slow,
I don't care... it can stand still, or
maybe there is no clock at all.

Waiting is a gift that keeps giving,
sweet the absence that lingers there.

With warm and tender affection,
LarryG
