haha.. been LONG.... Long... time since i blog! even my chat box has been shut down.. sobz.. been v lazy to blog these days.. esp when i m back in singapore.. dunno y.. but i guess that i shld start blogging now again to keep in touch w my frenz n let them noe what i m doing now right?

erm.. nothing much yet except waiting for reply from MOE.. yes, i applied to MOE for a teaching position.. *fingers crossed* =P also waiting for another reply from National Museum for my part time job till July.. if i can get the job it wud be gd as i will be able to see lots of kids! its a up coming art related program meant for the kids! thats all for now! will update as much as possible.. hee.. soon..

Title__*::Strong wind!!

hmm.. time for a quick update.. been super duper busy these days.. painting and painting all the way.. basically the whole day's schedule is wakeup at abt 9+, go sch for tut or go work, paint in sch, go home eat then paint till abt 3 am then slp.. can't be help as i really have alot more to paint!! and my tutor even say "slp even less for this month and i am sure u can finish them!" dunno izit encouragememnt or what.. haha.. but i guess i have to la..

as i m someone who needs at least 10 hrs of slp everyday, the time that i am left to slp now is really not enough for me.. haiz.. so can feel that i am always giddy and tired the whole day.. been feeling 'heaty' too and always feel very uncomfortable at the chest.. (papa says if slp late will be heaty.. papa is right! haha..) so i have been drinking lian teh these days too.. can't afford to fall sick ah..

as i have to take extra care of my health these days, i have to spend more money then usual to buy those liang teh.. they are not cheap here u know!! and have been eating vitamins and drinking fruit juice too.. haha.. very 'pa si'.. =P no choice la.. last lap le..

oh anyway, actually my main topic for this post is that now is a strong wind season again!! i hate this season as it always rain.. and i can't use my umbrella.. coz it would be flipped over easily by the wind.. yesterday, the wind was so strong that i was really blown away by it!! the wind pushes me at least a few steps forward!! and i was standing at the traffic light.. so its super dangerous ah.. luckily i wasn't standing too near the road.. so after the few steps, i was at the edge of the road.. phew~ if the wind was stronger a bit more.. bye bye.. dun think u all will see me le.. haha..

and u know? my housemate fell down yesterday due to the wind!! the wind was so strong that it pushes her forward and she became unbalanced so she fell on her knees.. now got bruises.. so poor thing.. after hearing her story, i suddenly realise that i am actually quite strong! haha.. coz at least i din fall down.. hahaha.. thats all for now! i am off to work! x_Z

Title__*::Fire in Hobart!!

Sorry for being MIA for soo long.. been so busy that i din have time to blog at all.. when given time to rest i would have K.O le.. haha.. anyway, there is sth that i really must blog about! Yesterday, i was out in the City shopping with my frenz.. coz its actually me birthday.. so i wanna give myself a break and enjoy the day.. we were in the city at about 2+ and heard the fire alarm.. as hearing fire alram is quite a common sight in hobart, i din tot it was anything 'big'.

we were happily shopping in a shop and when we got out of the shop, i saw a fire engine outside Mayer (the biggest shop in Hobart and its just beside the shop we went into). so i tot to myself: woa.. must be something big then.. got fire engine somemore.. and i saw a group of all the workers of the shop standing at the opposite side of the street. There were at least 30 of them i think.. but then, i also tot it may be a fire drill la as i din see any smoke or fire at all..

so, we were still happily shopping in the mall and around the city.. untill about 4+, when we got out from one of the shops, i suddenly realised that most of the shopd were closed.. its quite unusual as they shouldn't be closing that 'early'.. i know for sure that some of them should close at 5.. then, we suddenly realised there is a crowd of people about 10m away from us. out of curiousity, we walked towards the crowd and realised that the area is actually covered with smoke! and the smell of smell got thicker as we approach the crowd. (the wind was blowing the smoke away from our direction so we din notice the smoke at first..)

I was shocked to see that Mayer, the biggest shop in Hobart, was covered in smoke! Scary sia! Esp the 2nd floor! thick smoke are coming out from 4 of the windows!! And the bad side of me was actually hoping to see fire instead of smoke.. but i din see any fire at all.. so i tot it shouldn't be too serious.. me and Kavita stayed there and started taking picts of the scene.. (i wanna post some picts here but my hse comp got prob uploading the picts.. will do it in sch tml if i have the time.. sorry ppl..)

and the K.po me starting listening to other people's conversation. I heard that one of the women asking the othere if she manage to take out all her stuff in time. and the women replied no! She said she ONLY MANAGED TO TAKE OUT SOME DIAMONDS from the showcase (I think) and had to rush out le.. if u all dunno, there are actually quite alot of jewellary shops around Mayer.. woa.. i think if they are damaged by fire, i think it wud be a huge loss..

and i heard from one of the firefighters that they are gonna keep a close watch on the building for 24 hrs! It was only then, then i realsied how serious it was! Oh! and I forgot to mention that by this time, there are at least 4 fire engines, 3 police cars and 1 ambulance outside the builing! and they actually sealed up the roads around it!! And the smoke got thicker and thicker and they started knocking down some of the brick walls on the 2nd floor!

today when i checked the news, i realised that the building was engulf in big fire in the evening!! Here is the LINK to the news report of it online and a picture of the fire!! the whole builing on fire is MAYER!! though its not v big as compared to singapore's shops, but its still big.. and if really wanna compare, u can imagine the whole TAKA in Orchard kenna fire.. *Touch wood*

now thinking back.. at 3+, when Mayer has already caught fire, me and mt frenz were still happily shopping in the basement of Mayer and some of the other shops there are under Mayer! scary!! and thesad thing now is that such a historic building has to be tored down due to the damage made by the fire.. =( haiz.. i am so sad that such bad thing have to happen on my birthday..

lastly, i seriously hope no one is injured in this incident..

Title__*::BUSY!!

Oh my.. thought Sem 2 would be better for me as I am taking 1 less subject.. BUT actually its e busiest semester ever!! I have so many things to catch up with painting and got lots to do for my art rep thing.. haiz.. really tired sia.. now i feel so luck that i had chosen to take a summer sch then.. phew~ -_-'"

so thats e main reason y i have been MIA.. sorry guys.. i actually wanna uplaod some picts for u all to see but speed at home is too slow for tt.. n when i n sch, i forgot all abt it.. haiz.. so blur now..

n so scary! think i m growing fat again! haha.. coz its cold.. so u tend to get hungry v easily.. n when i m like painting, n when i give myself short break, the best thing i can do is eat.. haha.. n esp when i work till e middle of e night.. will be too lazy to cook so i will eat bread or chips etc.. DIE.. have to control myself.. OR... hahaha..

didn't know i have bene overworking till i saw my hsemate yesterday.. yes.. i haven't seen her for v long le.. or i shld say she din see me for v long le.. even though we r staying in e same hse.. so u can imagine how busy i m? go sch, come home then work in my room le.. din even have time to cook proper meal.. anyway, she was shocked to see me yesterday as i had 2 white hair!! OMG.. think i have been over stressed.. n today, one of my classmates ask me "yushi, r u feeling alright?". i was puzzled n tot she was asking it because of e works i m doing.. its related to me feeling down etc.. but when i ask her why she asked so, she said "oh, because u look really down/sad during lecture.. i thought what happened to u" and i tot to myself: DO I REALLY LOOK THAT HORRIBLE?! haha.. i hope not!

and pimples r popping out as i have been staying up late.. haiz.. no choice la.. last lap le.. have to chiong chiong chiong!! cheer for me! yeah~ ^_^.V.

Haiz.. been very busy so far. Thats why din update anything..

was very suay today. went ti buy something which cost $14.95 in total and i gave my ATM card to the cashier. Before I need to key in my pin number, i remembered that i do not have a single cent in that account! Coz i transferred all money into another account to earn interest.. =(

then i told the guy i will pay by cash.. opened my wallet and saw only a $5 dollar note! Pengz.. checked out my coins n realised i got alot of them.. had to pour all of them out on the table and count.. *malu* and worst of all, its peak hours so there is a queue of people behind me! all looking at me counting the coins on the table.. *super malu* and by the time i finish counting, i realised i got only $14.65 in my wallet!!! SHORT OF $0.30!!! *super super malu!!!* -_-"'

no choice and had to tell e guy to take one of the item out. who knows that the guy is a new guy n he needs some code to do that. he had to call for help from other cashier and the other line had to stop because the cashier need to come over to help me.. all looking at me.. -_-'" *super super super malu!!*

Oh my..its such an embarassing and unlucky day..

Sorry for the lack of updates. Just a quick update about what happened recently..

I went to Launceston to be a tour guide cum translator last week. Learnt alot from the trip and gained more confidence about speaking up in front of the crowd. Though I dun think i did a real gd job, but i think i still did alright la.. At least i tried my best.

School term just started and I am already v packed with school works and Art school rep thingy. last week was v v packed. Monday had school.. tues to thurs was the trip to launceston and friday night was the free movie night that i organized for the Art School. Sat and sunday went to work. haiz.. and there goes 1 week.. now is already the end of the 2nd week of sch.. time flies..

A happy thing today is that i just got my printed name card today! hehe.. i finally got my namecard already.. I have been looking forward to it. =P thats all for now. will try to update again soon. As for the pict i took in launceston, i will try to post it if i can.. web speed is too slow at home to upload and i always forget to bring the picts to sch to upload. hee..

Title__*::the most satisfying meal ever!

haha.. just came back from a buffet.. =P my stomach is so full till i feel like it is gonna explode anytime! -_- feel really awful now.. but the meal was superb.. Kavita got her first proper pay and treated us to King Buffet.. i LOVE the sweet n sour pork there! its so similar to the ones in singapore! and their honey chicken.. wow.. super nice sia.. some more its all cooked food so v easy to eat la.. and lots of variety.. got chinese food, jap food, pasta, western food, fruits, ice cream and cakes!!

hmm.. its been some time since i last blog.. been v lazy to blog these days.. ha.. dunno y.. maybe coz i have too many stuff that i need to do and cant be bothered too much about blogging anymore.. =P

recent stuff that happened:

bought my first webcam online and got it abt 1 week ago.. was sad as it dun seem to have enough power to work on my mac.. works well on my fren's pc though.. sigh.. mac always v mafan for buying stuff for.. even e webcam i have been searching for v v long then i manage to find the one i bought and it is a 2nd hand one so its cheaper.. it cost abt $15 which is dirt cheap for a wbecam for mac.. most webcam is not competible and those who are cost ard 80 all the way to 300++.. haha.. the webcam i got is v nice.. silverish one.. hehe.. so i v happy about it.. but coz of e power problem, i still cant use it.. have been searching for powered usb hub on ebay and hope it wud solve the prob.. but finding powered usb hub is another new prob again.. ha.. coz most dun have ac adapter.. n i need one.. coz my usb outlet not enough power ma.. so die die need another ac adapter from the usb hub to supply more power.

another thing is that dear have been v sweet to search for accomodation and air ticket for our yr end trip.. i have been busy and couldn't afford the time to do so.. =( my family are coming to see my graduation and i m really excited abt it! and the planning for our trip at aust mainland is also v exciting! reminds me of e time YBZY planned for our thailand trip.. its always fun n exciting to plan ur own trip.. dun u think so? hehe..

also, i have been busy with working and art school rep stuff now la.. not easy ah.. have to email this ppl that ppl.. then have to meet ppl at cafe to talk abt some events.. haha.. feel so professional sometimes.. =P like already in e working society lk tt.. gonna ask for some name cards also so tt when i go n look for sponsors, got sth to give them.. hehe.. but really alot of work ah..

and i trying to earn more money for the yr end trip now.. haiz.. dunno how much it wud be.. hopefully i got enough. if can, i would wan to pay for all e expenses for my family over here.. cant afford to buy ticket for them though.. ha.. see how la.. i may be able to get e job as a tour guide soon! Its a 1 time thingy and still not confirmed yet.. pay is really really gd and i really hope i can get that! wish me luck! =)

weather is freaking cold today as usual.. its -1 degree outside.. but i m happy. ha.. coz i cooked chicken rice for my hsemates jus now! n they luv it.. hee.. =P so v happy la.. n hor.. coz its finally holiday n all e shops here r having crazy sale, i have been 'busy shopping' these days.. hehe.. found alot of cheap n nice clothes n eo ones tt i have been searching for for a long long time.. rem YBZ asking me what i want few yrs ago n i said i looking for bohemium skirt n denim skirt.. n few yrs later, they asked e same qn n i replied e same thing! haha.. n they were lk, what! u still haven found then yet? but now, i foundthem! at v cheap price! luv aussie sale.. coz their sale is really sale.. not lk singapore ones.. sale equal no sale.. n guess e price.. i got my denim skirt for $5!!! hehe.. will take some picts n show u all if i have e time..

nnow, i m hooked onto online shopping.. die.. been searching for nice n cheap accessories.. found few n can't decide which to buy now.. no money to buy all though they r cheap.. have to save up for my end of year Aussie trip! =P

Title__*::Freaking cold!!!

oh my.. temp has dropped to 1.5 degree outside.. its super super cold even when i m in my room, with heater turned on to e hightest, wearing my thermal, a turtle neck long sleeves shirt and a jacket on top of it. fingers n feet are freezing.. though i got my socks on.. n now.. e scariest thing in my new hse is tt the toilet is downstairs and its e coldest part of the hse as the window inside is 'open' one.. dunno how to describe.. its e slanted glass thingy type that cant be moved one.. so when u in the toilet, its like u r outside.. n sitting on e toilet bowl is like sitting on a piece of ice!! =S n u noe when weather is cold, u tend to go toilet more frequently? i hate it!! haha.. i dun wanna expose myself to 1.5 degrees with such little clothes.. headache ahh.... =X

hehe.. dunno y but i have been thinking back abt the past v often these days.. esp abt the sweet memories i had.. think could be due to elove stories i have been watching these days.. but i m sure everyone would think of these memories on certain days.. right? =P

hmm..

* the time where dear piggyback me to cross over a flooded grass field.. and by flooded i mean really flooded.. its super muddy and water level is above ur ankle.. and dear got his shoes soaked with smelly dirty muddy water because of me.. n that was only the start of the dy.. he had to walk around lk that for dunno how long n yet he din complain abit..

* dear sheltered/protected me from the falling fireworks (fireball).. we were too near to where they release the fireworks.. and some of them started falling out of the 'safety zone' and one came towards me.. i was so engrossed at looking at fireworks that i didn't even notice the fireball was gonna land on me! dear saw and, like what we always see in movie, he dashed towards me and protected me with his body and pushed me to one side.. and to my horror, the fireball landed in front of me.. if not for dear.. i may be burnt.. so its v v v unforgettable.. n so qiao that it happened on the same day as the incident i mention above.. (sounds like some scenes in movies.. hehe.. romantic..~) *^_^*

* sitting beneath the stars and one stupid n idiotic kid cycling around us.. haha.. n e kid was saying some stupid stuff.. n someone also said some 'funny' stuff that wasn't meant to be funny.. =P

* the time where i was crying like mad and i got no tissue with me.. and someone offered me his shirt.. sweet..~ and its not only tears.. u noe when u cry like mad, ur nose will become 'runny'.. yes.. he offered me his shirt for me to wipe off the gruesome 'bi2 ti4'.. do u see that inmovie? no.. will your bf do tt? i dunno.. ask him.. =P but mine does.. hehe.. though it sounds disgusting.. but i think its v v sweet.. n v memorable.. haha.. ( i always try to rem to bring tissue with me evrywhere i go now.. though its sweet but i wun wanna do it again.. wiping 'bi2 ti4' on someone's shirt is not something i would want to do unless no choice... )

Also, heard a female singer 'jing sha' song.. v nice! think i can sing her song coz her voice is v high as mine.. haha.. or i should say mine is v high as hers.. hehe.. =P Ii like Tank's songs also.. esp after the 'hua yang shao nian shao nu' and now the zhong ji yi ban'.. so i have been updated myself with the new songs now la.. can't wait to go KTV again!! hehe..

haha.. not sure if u all noe or not, but i usualy would dream, of very weird n nonsensical stuff.. n yesterday, i had a super weird dream!! now i m actually abit confuse whether those r dreams or i really saw those.. haha.. dunno izit coz i m stress?? but i really dun feel much obvious stress except that i cant really slp..

ok.. i dreamt of me in e toilet n saw a gal buying tampon from e tampon machine.. hahahaha.. funny right?? n e scary part is, i dunno if its a dream or not! haha.. coz actually me, as an art sch rep, have to take care of all e stuff in sch.. yes.. including tampon machines.. n e machine has broke down for abt 3 yrs le.. haha.. n i sort of report to e sch during meeting la.. n they got it fixe.. n i wud wonder if anyone actually buy tampons from there la.. haha.. so its like 'ri you suo si, ye you suo mong'.. haha.. n i dunno if its a dream or reality! OMG.. n most weird thing is i was thinking abt this qn today when i just reached sch.. haha.. cant help laughing at myself man.

n also, yesterday nite i dreamt tt i was out buying sth at Macs n suddenly my uncle pops out of no where.. n i actually dun lk him.. wonder what is he doing in my dream.. dunno izit because i recently heard of him being not too well.. heard tt he got a heart attack few days ago.. so some how i suddenly pity him.. even though i dun really lk him..

lol.. really weird la.. really dun feel much stress symptoms now when i shld be.. n now all these funny n weird dreams.. haha.. are they part of the stress symptoms?? =P

oh my.. global warming is really having a huge impact on Tassie.. temp was as high as 19 degrees last nite! n i dun even need to on my heater at all! Its bad as it should be winter now n temo should be less than 10 or even less then 5 at nite!! but yesterday nite was 19 n today is v warm.. temp was at 21! n tml will be ard 19 still! its e same temp as when its summer here! shit.. wonder hows e north pole.. the polar bears, penguins n other animals.. hope they r alright.. haiz..

i din realise e huge impact of gloabl warming until i came here n exp e weather diff n stuff lk tt.. n also e flood n unnatural rainfall in singapore at e beginning of this year.. =( hope ppl can start thinking about others now..

1. lol.. haha.. a bit over happy these days.. coz of watching 花样少年少女 lol.. i always wanted to watch it when i was in singapore but coz i was busy rushing back to tassie so not much time to watch.. only watch a bit.. finally my fren downloaded this TV series n so now i m watching!! haha.. i always like this kind of romantic comedy.. n most of all, wu zun is so handsome!! haha.. so blur and cute sometimes too.. n his built is also the type i like.. keke.. n i love his hair style!! i love guys w long fringe.. haha.. i going gaga over him le.. summing up, he is my 'perfect' guy image! ha.. *droolz..* (he actually reminds me of someone also la.. hehe..)

but actually y i so happy is also coz of the storyline.. how he always trying to protect ella, e gal he likes.. in order to keep her by his side.. so i think its v sweet la.. n reminded me of those sweet memories.. *^_^* so thats y i so so so happy these days! the perfect timing to keep my energy level up for my upcoming projects! hehe.. i behaving like a 'xiao za bo' now.. haha.. every now n then would smile to myself for no reason.. lol..

2. also, i really like the song 一千遍我愛你 by yi neng jing, written by J.J though i think i prefer the version that J.J sings.. cant find the version tt he sings as its meant for yi neng jing so too bad lor.. only mange to get the one where he sang on 'yu le bai fen bai' which can really melt your heart when u hear.. thats where i heard him sing also.. v nice la.. below is e clip i found on youtube.. hope u guys like it..

3. also, y i m so happy is because i finally have a house telephone! haha.. so i can make calls from home! use to have to go to public phone late at night, which is so freaking cold! then started calling with hp which is more ex then payphone but dun need go out la.. now, i can call for v cheap price n can call from home! sp happy! n hopefully by monday, the internet would be setup n i will have internet athome! yeah! wonderful sia! so happy till i dun feel tired or stress anymore... wee!~ (even though i have to rush alot of big final projects now..)

4. lastly, so glad that we had been together for 3 years 10 months le.. hehe.. thanx for being such a great part of my life dear..

p.s.// time really flies.. its been 2 years + since i studied here also.. n will be graduating end of this year! can't believe it! n my frens have graduated already! wow.. forgot who said, i think is zy, "can start imagine YBZY going to cafe to meet up after work.. talking abt 'adult/working world' stuff' n complaining about our job.." haha.. can't imagine that we have all grown up le.. can still rem how 'nerdy' we look when we were in sec.. n how yor started wearing high heel, zy started wearing big earings n make up n bee also.. all becoming more n more 'women-like'.. haha.. think in 10 years time we will start to be 'mother-like' le.. haha.. n our talking topic may be surround our kids le.. ahha..

Title__*::time for updates..

erm.. nothing much to type abt exvept i m busy.. haha.. but not as stress le.. (luckily) just finished my lesson actually.. its 7 pm here btw.. tuesdays are the most horrible day of the week as i have classs form 9am to 12 noon then break all e way till 5pm n have class till 7pm! siao! haha..

erm.. something which makes me happy is that i went to somewhere called 'Island' Market on sat with my housemate Jenni. its e first time i m there n has been looking forward to go there ever since i was here as its famous for its cheap fruits n seafood.. n i was quite disappointed la.. not THAT cheap also.. haha.. but i still managed to buy some fresh fish!! its the FIRST TIME i bought fish here!! n i bought prawns too.. lol.. these ordinary things are not so ordinary to me over here as they r usually v ex.. but since i was there, i decided to treat myself better this week n bought some those 2 stuff.. haha.. n i was so excited to steam the fish when i got home that when my fish was ready, my rice wasn't cooked yet.. -_-"' so in e end i have to wait till my rice is cooked then i eat n e fish is overcooked.. sad.. but nonetheless, its still v yummy!! hahahaha.. n e next day i cooked the restover n its superb! i cook for u all when i go back k?? haha.. =P

oh btw i was so stress facing all e works i have to do that i decided to take a break n temporary curl my hair! i always wante dto but din have e money n my hair wasn't long enough.. but i cant resist the temptation as i have a curler.. hehe.. my fren dun wan n she gave me one.. lol.. so... i curled my hair n its so nice! a pity tt its still too short.. if longer then it wub be perfect! ha.. dun have pict with me now.. will upload when i ahve the chance to.. thats all...

oh my.. past 2 weeks was so so so hectic for me.. n seriously, i din even realise how fast time has past! the work load of Art School Rep is piling up and its affecting my school work a little.. DIE.. really really tired now as i m typing..

had THREE FREAKING MEETINGS yesterday!!! n one jus now.. haiz.. n i have to organise some events for the arts school soon.. n e school having some events where they hope i can be down too.. n going for a training on late may also to become a harrasment n ??? officer of the school.. so.. wish me luck!!

thinking of putting my job on hold now.. but dunno if its a gd idea as i would be free in 1-1.5 months time.. so all i have to do is just hang in for a while longer then everything wud be alright le.. owhat should i do?? give me some advice ppl.. thanx..

OMG.. suddenly realise that i have so much frackles on my face! DIE!!! see the pict below.. those circled ones r frackles!!! see how many of them there are.. hai.. all because of my laziness.. not applying sunscreen everyday b4 i go out and also because i am so so busy and tired these days that i dun really have the time n effort to care much.. but now i regret.. coz i think u can never get rid of frackles! DIE!! someone help me.. =(

also, have been quuite stressed up these days due to the amount of work i have to do in order to catch up.. and also, i still have to be busy with my part time job and my new job as the art school rep. haiz.. further more, i am still looking for the freaking table for my room! feel like i haven't really settle down yet.. and everyday have to walk 20 mins to e 2nd hand shop to lookout for cheap tables to buy.. and have to worry about transportation as in how am i going to bring it home.. haiz.. really stress ah.. and as long as i can't settle down, i can't fully concentrarte on my school work! shit.. sian.. and worst of all, i feel so so so helpless.. no one i know can help me as they each have their own stuff to do.. and i really dun like to bother people with my stuff.. so in the end i always end up 'suffering' myself.. haiz.. stupid me..

luckily i got back one of my essay and its e first time i got high distinction!! i am so so so happy.. it sort of gave me some encouragement and strength to go on la.. hope everything would work out fine.. wish me luck k?

Title__*::Easter..

ok.. i know its a bit late to blog about easter now but i still wanna blog abt it.. Easter is a little special and different for me this year.. its e first time i sort of 'celebrate' easter.. not celebrate as in celebrate la.. haha.. its jus tt got one old couple who always come to our restaurant always give us choclates b4 they leave.. and she gave me a bag of easter bunny eggs chocolate! see pict below..

and then, my boss gave me a packet of easter bunny and eggs chocolate too!

somehow i suddenly feel the celebration of easter! haha.. and he invited all e waitress in the shop to go to his house for BBQ! and this is his lovely daughter!

so CUTE!! right?? haha.. and she is v obedient too.. too bad she was almost sleeping the whole day that day.. ha.. so i din get to carry her.. and u know what? she is actually only abt 2.5 months old! she is a big baby!! haha.. so ya.. had a great time that day.. hee.. a good half day rest.. n after tt i went back to ruching all my work again.. =(

Title__*::BUSY...!!!

Oh my.. the past 2 weeks really flew by.. n seriously, i dun even know how long have i been so super busy already.. before that was busy searching for house and then, its busy searching for furniture.. finaly bought my bed frame and wardrobe yesterday! happy! but super tired ah.. coz i wanna settle down soon so i had no choice but to buy my stuff yesterday and have to carry them all the way back home my myself..

i bought a wardrobe whihc is abt 15kg.. and i had to carry it home with my bare hands and walked for 30 mins!!! ( the usual time i take for the same route is 5 mins. ha..) coz its really too heavy so i have to practically stop after taking about 10 steps or less! and coz i was in e city so many ang mohs are looking at me, this stupid chinese gal who is carrying this huge box of heavy stuff and walking and stopping, walking and stopping.. i felt v paiseh at first but in e end i heck care already coz i was really v v v tired.. felt my arms and fingers were breaking! =( and the result of that over straining my body for the past few days is that my body is aching all over for many days le.. esp today.. my shoulder ache like hell and my arms too.. had many blue black on my knees also as i kept hitting the box against my knees when i was carrying them.. sad.. ( had been packing and carrying heavy stuff up and down when i was moving house for the past few days)

n this is how the box looks.. dunno if u can see what written on the box or not.. its e dimension and weight.. it weights 14.7kg..

and not only that.. i had to assemble the wardrobe all by myself as no one is at home to help me.. and i too 1hour 45 mins to finish it! ah! tired...!!! but feel so happy after i finish as its so nice!! and a strong sense of satisfaction also.. hee.. see the picts below!

Title__*::Tsunami Alert!!!

OMG.. got a shock when i tune in to the news this morning.. there was an earthquake at Solomon Island at 7.40 am this morning and it measured 8.1 on Richter scale! and its expected to generate Tsunami to Australia's Eastern coast.. Even though they predicted that the Eastern shore may be hit, it appears that up till now, the coast are still fine and they think the top areas should be fine.. the next few warnings is NSW etc and followed by Tasmania! its 11.00 am now and the forecast says the Tsunami may hit at 12.30 pm on wards.. though tassie is quite far from the earthquake but i still a bit worried la.. coz its still e first time i am experiencing such things.. hopefully we will be alright as the rest of Australia..

Just in case, to all my frenz and family, I love u all.. hehe.. =P

people, can help me with this??

i have a chance to run for art rep of my school now but i dunno if i should take part or not.. mainly because i scared i may not be able to handle my studies, work and this additional responsibility at the same time.. i dun wanna my studies to be affected as its my priority now..

but if i do become the art rep of my school, it would be v gd for my resume and MAY be gd for my future career.. but i scared abt it too as it means me organising activities for my sch and as an asian, i scared i dun really noe what the locals like.. =(

but as my brother said, quote "and becos u art rep the chance of being dispatch to special place also higher, den u got more chance in everything", "and u must think leh art rep for u is quite rare lor so just grab the chance lor"

and the add on is that i would be paid $950 for this post.. so its not bad also.. jus scared i cant cope with so much stuff.. the easy way out is quit my job but that means i would have less income.. so.. i dunno..

anyway, its some sort like u run for e election so if u get, u have to be e art rep.. cannot quit or what one.. it will last until end of sept.. so.. what should i do? to run or not run for r election??

ha.. it may sound silly but.. i am already looking forward to be home again! ha..

have been feeling v low these days.. probably due to e stress that is piling up from sch work, work, searching for houses etc.. and have been really really homesick.. haiz.. start to feel like i am a big baby.. lol!

weather is also turning cold these days.. weird la.. its like 28 degrees 2 days ago n today is 12-16 degrees! siao..~ hope to find something i like online to relief some of my stress now.. haha.. n jus bought ice cream to sort of cheer my self up too! =P still coping well so dun worry..

btw, think for this year, my painting project wud be abt what e feel staying in hobart these yrs la.. esp abt being alone n 'stuck' etc.. hopefully it dosen't get too personal too as i wud hate to discuss personl stuff during critique time! =X

haiz.. think i am becoming more and more of a blus sotong.. went to work yesterday and made a silly mistake last night! i sent e food to e wrong table.. my boss was so angry at me and so disappointed at me at e same time.. me too.. i m also angry at myself for being so blur.. jus feel that ever since dunno when, my mind is empty.. really.. so i tend to forget stuff easily. dunno whats wrong w me n what causes tt.. think it may be jetlag or not enough slp or because i had a bad start at e airport or because i got so much to do till my brain shut down.. i really dunno.

think now is another low pt of my life.. when things are not running smooth and i keep meeting these problems, it wud affect my mood and i wud start feeling lonely, sad and stuff.. haiz.. jus v sian la.. no where to go but to come to sch to use e internet and type down all these nonsenses.. hopefully things wud turn out better in e near future.. i am starting to loose confident with myself and things i do.. its not a gd sign..

haiz.. have been so busy ever since i came back.. ruahing here n there to buy grocceries, look for new hse with my fren (thinking of moving hse again.. hehe..), meeting up with old fren, cleaning my rrom that is filled with dust, and started my job today! its a full day job even! so tired now.. waiting for the night shift now.. haiz.. its drizzling now n e weather is so so so nice for a nap! =P

anyway, long story for me wanting to move hse again.. mainly is coz i cant really cook properly in e present hse n its so quiet till i feel so stress to even make some noises.. n e ang moh housemates were not happy that there are more and more asians living there.. so.. ya.. wanna move out.. but e landlord and aunty are so so so nice to me! which makes me feel bad to move out so soon.. and i dun dare tell them abt me wanting to move.. dunno y..

started my first day of job today and its alright. jus a little tiring as i din really sleep properly last nite.. kept waking up.. and today the business at the restaurant is good! which makes me v v v busy.. wore my new black shoes to work today and my feet feel so pain now.. =( wonder it i can make it till tonight.. hai.. and now thinking back, i really wonder how did i maaged to work and study at the same time! its so tiring now even when my sch has jus started only.. i so worried now tt i may not be able to cope..

also, ever since i came back, i practically walk to everywhere i was going and it means tt i walked the whole day.. legs are aching now and feel tt my speed of walking has decreased.. die.. haha.. i used to take abt 18 mins to walk to my sch and now, i take abt 22 mins to reach my sch! so its abt 5 mins more.. wonder is it because i have grown old or maybe i am too used to the accessibilty in singapore.. hope i get used to walking soon..

all in all, two words to sum up these days would be TIRED and BUSY! haha.. sian..

haiz.. have been so so so busy and tired ever since i came back.. was super suay since e 1st few hours i reach Sydney.. =( cigerattes i bought for my boss was taken away as i exceeded the max amt i can carry.. but i seriously din noe!! if i knew, i wun have asked them to check at all lor.. haiz.. n i dun smoke so i really dunno how big is a carton of it.. i felt so wrong and helpless that i cried at the airport.. its e first time i cried in public.. so malu.. haiz.. and e unlucky thigs dun end here.. its one after another..

because of e cigeratte, i was sort of delayed.. and really in a rush to catch my domestic flight.. and was suppose to take e train to another aairport.. but e train was down! fuck.. then i went round and round to find the bus and taxi and took taxi in e end.. but e taxi uncle is super blur and he din have enough change to give me when i gave him e money.. and i had to pay so much more with my ATM card in e end. sian.. and i was late for my check in.. luckily the ppl at e airport were understanding enough to help me andn i managed to run all e way to e departure gate and was e last person to board e plane.. e plane was delayed a little because of me as they have to load my stuff up b4 they leave.. feel so bad.. there are alot more details and more unlucky stuff tt happens but i dun wanna think abt i anymore.. its jus my super unlucky day that affects my mood since then..

its such a bad start and i really worry abt the rest of e yr i have to spend here.. haiz.. dunno la.. hopefully everything wud be alright.. super tired now.. as i only slept 1 hr on e plane.. and v little since i touch down till now.. head is spinning.. bye for now..

Polar bear!! my favourite!! I LOVE POLAR BEAR!! they r really cute.. see.. it is doing backstroke now! and it is actually not performing at all!

his name is Inuka.. its a boy and its huge! its 17 this year.. e most special thing is tt its actually born in e Zoo and its e first polar bear born in Asia! cool sia..

ha.. couldn't slp.. so come online.. since i m online, i shall blog about today..

hmm.. Afternoon i met up with my 'small colleagues' (hahaha.. =P) who work with me at Raffles City last year. we all going back to visit the shifu together.. go back saw some of the shifu and i so happy they still rem me! haha.. but sadly, some of the shifu din come back this year.. esp the 'hu lu' shifu.. he is v nice and taught me how to 'burn' the hu lu some more.. too bad his sales last year not good so dun think he wud come back also..

somehow, this reminds me of the frenz whom i met in Hobart last 2 years.. esp those who went back to their country and lost in touch.. most of them were my closest frenz in Hobart then.. can still rem how we use to have parties in the hse and prepare food together and gossip or play after that! its so fun! haiz.. wonder if they still rem me.. =(

chat with one of my Taiwan fren abt 2 weeks ago i think.. haven really seen him online for v long.. so when i saw him online that night, i was quite suprise. and after chatting with him, then i realise that he got into a car accident not long aftre he got back to Taiwan and fractured his arm.. thats y he seldom go online now.. coz it hurts when he type on the keyboard.. so i was quite touched that he still stayed online to chat with me for a while even though its not v easy for him.. and surprisingly, he still read my blog once in a while.. but he cant really understand some of it as i type in singlish.. haha.. but ya.. its jus v nice to noe that ur frenz in other country still rem u.. ^_^

back to the shifu in Raffles City, think they din really change much.. maybe 1 year is too short for some major changes? dunno la.. the only major change i see is in e tall tall guy.. he slim down so much!! wonder y.. haha.. coz wanna jio gals? =P but dunno izit he shy or what, he was quite quiet today.. (he used to be talkative)

went back to try the flour sculpture today and my hand trembles when i cutting the dough! i was so paiseh lor.. so many ppl tot i was e shifu and tot i was performing the skill of making flour scultpure.. -_-" but ok la.. though i din practice for 1 yr, i still rem some of it.. so the product is still alright.. haha.. think wud visit shifu more to brush up my skill! lastly, think my shifu looks younger this year.. haha.. =P

haiz.. had been getting more and more short tempered. dunno izit because of the stress i get from the essay writing.. though i may look v slack in front of ppl, i m actually working v hard and giving myself alot of stress..

when u r busy, u would definately wish that ppl ard u give u support.. but opp to it, my parents kept nagging at me, asking me to clean the hse as i am e most 'free' person in the hse (i always stay at home).. i kept telling them i wud help them once i finish my essay writing but they still kept nagging..

i m v short tempered.. once they kept nagging at me non stop, i would 'explode'.. and i exploded jus now.. din mean to but mummy is too much.. she blame me for her not winning her 4D.. what the hell lor.. then she say our house so messy therefore the 'cai shen' would not come.. and that when i not srd my bro would keep the hse clean and then she would win 4D.. but since i came back till now, i never see my bro clean the hse on his own will at all.. thats y i so mad..

and sometimes, i would jus clean some small parts of the hse when i have no mood to write my essay.. but these things are always no noticed and no praises or encouragements were given.. why izit that when u do the right thing, u usually dun get any feed back on it.. as in ppl dun even notice it or even when they notice, they dun say anything as they thing its something u SHOULD do.. but when u din do, u would be scolded for not doing.. haiz..

dunno la.. too stress up le.. tend to be more moody.. jus complaining over here.. i usually would forget this matter when i wake up and everything would be back to normal.. ha.. crazy me..

hmm.. its been a while since i update my blog.. had been busy meeting friends everyday..

on boxing day, YBZY finally had our chalet, all thanx to zy's mum~! thank you auntie! hehe.. and i had a wonderful time out there.. =D the only bad thing abt the chalet was the weather.. its rained everyday!! and we nearly gave up our BBQ plan.. but luckily we decided to try out me n yor's suggestion of BBQing with the aluminium container in the shade.. we were so scared that we may leave a black patch onthe ceiling! luckily we didn't.. hee.. and even though i said its BBQ in the shade, its still v though as the floor is wet and rain kept splattering in.. =( But luckily everything still turn out alright!

went to wild wild wet on our 2nd day and realise that the number of things to play there is as limited as escape.. slightly better maybe.. stayed there for 3 hrs only and we have nohting to do liao.. ended up going ktv.. haha.. first time see people go ktv during chalet.. dear said we could have asked/rent xbox games to play since we have xbox in e room.. but dunno la.. ktv is fun anyway! its been so long since i sang.. started so badly.. haha.. keep 'zao sia'.. and till the end i think my singing is bad still.. =(

met up with dear after we check out on thursday and we went to try the 'Aston Specialties' at East coast road, opposite Katong Mall.. He said the its well kown for its cheap and super nice western food, esp their steak! and tell u, its real good!! we had Prime Ribeye Extra-Cut for only 14.90!! and the meal size is just right. the main course comes with 2 side dishes also.. and i had baked potato and onion rings.. wow.. its superb! andi am addicted to it.. =P~ hey YBZY must go there one day k? its near Parkway.. Heard that its always v packed.. and as thurs its raining still when we went, there wasn't alot of people.. but considering that its raining outside, i think the number of people there is considered alot already.. its a MUST TRY!!

met up with some JC frenz on friday and went to AMK.. and the new interchange is not up yet! we waited for so long liao..

then went for dear's fren's bdae and had breeks at AMK yesterday.. its e first time i had breeks.. i should say that its not bad la.. but it can be better.. LOVE the ice lemon tea there! OMG.. hope i can find it in supermarket! ;)

Title__*::Dong Zhi

Actually planned to upload some of e picts yesterday but got some prob w e internet so din upload in e end.. too lazy to upload now..

anyway, was making 'Tang Yuan' yesterday night.. daddy made e dough liao and he needs to go out yesterday nite so i had to roll the big dough into small balls (tang yuan).. started out doing alone as my bro is 'busy' talking on e phone and watching animae online.. sigh..~ then mummy came back and started making the soup for the tang yuan.. and soon, daddy reach home and helped me with the making of tang yuan..

Making tang yuan should be a family activity and i am glad that we really made the whole pot of tang yuan as a family, with each of us contributing in a small part.. =) somehow, felt quite emotional then.. seeing the whole family 'working' in our small kitchen altogether (my bro came to help in e end also..).. i cant help but start to think of how would it be like in the future..

I am suddenly so worried and sad to know that my parents would leave me one day.. its a fact that no one can change.. *sob..*

i also realise that people dun actually take photos things in their daily life.. and thats when i suddenly decided to take pictures of us making the tang yuan.. but too bad the photos are blur as i assume that the kitchen light is bright enough..

since young, i wasn't really keen on such family activity whereby the whole family gather together to make or prepare something.. but ever since i went to tassie to study, such activities become very very meaningful to me.. in Singapore, my parents are working almost everyday.. when they reach home at nite, they still have so much hse works to do at home and dun even have enough time to rest.. so dun even have a proper time to sit down and chat with them etc..

i am really glad that traditional festival like this is still around as it sort of 'force' the family to make something together and can more or less interact with each other at the same time.. mummy and daddy are always the one giving instructions on what to do.. i m very worried that i wun know what to do in future, when they r no longer ard.. so i m trying to learn as much as i can now.. =(

ok enough of the emotional and long winded stuff.. today is Dong Zhi.. Hope that all my friend's family are well and healthy and hope that everyone can start treasuring their family now.. =)

PIN NUMBER REVERSAL

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse. For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321.

The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.

This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know it exists.

01/12/06 - APT 5 Opening Night

this is how packed and happening the opening night was.. and many people specially dressed up for it..

this is an interesting artwork by a Jap artist called Yayo Kusama. Its called the "Infinity Room". when u r in e small room, u suddenly lose your sense of space.. and u feel like u r floating in a space.. v interesting!

this is a pict of me having a pict taken with another interesting artist. He believes in e presence of the 'other beings' (e.g. alien) and he calls himself Pope Alice.

02/12/06 - APT 5 Orientation Day

woke up and had my breakfast at the backpackers.. had ham with egg and bread. Yummy!! hehe..

Its so fun! So many people again! and there are some 'crazy' people acting as crowd control and they are holding the 'stop' and 'slow' sign.. can see??

i was taking pict of one of e gal and the other gal ran over! ha.. they are really fun! they purposely stop the people suddenly and ask them to go slow.. haha.. cute!

for the whole day we have to attend talks by artists..

he is one of my fav artist of the exhibition.. =)

and this is the first Panel Discussion that i attend.. wow.. its really an eye opener!

despite the busy day, having to attend artist talks and panel discussions, Me and erika are still trying to have some fun with the games that were designed for the kids! its called the Kids APT.. hehe..
