Beach Day
We are trying to get out and enjoy the last few days of summer before Jonathan heads back to school. The weather couldn’t be any better! Here are a few pictures that we took at the beach today.
This one is one of my favorite pictures of Jonathan and Jackson! We left in such a hurry that we forgot our buckets and shovels, so the log was the entertainment for today. We will try again tomorrow to remember everything! We still had a fun relaxing day.

We get our pictures taken
This is me being silly pretending to be artistic and serious. I was laughing so hard while trying to blow on this dandelion that I ended up having one of those facial expressions that is stuck in between facial expressions and just turns out ugly. If you look closely you can see one of the seeds air born, which looks cool. Jackson was behind me trying to figure out why Daddy was being so silly again.
All these pictures were taken from a friend of mine that I work with. He’s been promising me to give me some pointers on the camera. We went to the park, and the photo lesson morphed into a full blown photo shoot for our family. He was very generous with his time, and has an awesome family of his own that showed up to the park too. Check out their blog at “patience and ivory photography” – There’s a link to it on our blog. He’s got lots of talent and is very fun and easy to work with.
These are some pictures that he e-mailed us just a few hours after the photo shoot, he’s gonna send us the rest soon, after he’s done editing them.

motorcycle trip 2011
Here’s a picture from left to right of Jonathan, David, Dad (Timothy), Rob, and John. We all met in sudden valley at mom’s beforehand. We rode to Winthrop, stayed the night in chelan, then rode back on monday the next day visiting leavenworth, and riding through steven’s pass. It was a blast. This was the 2nd year that we’ve done this, an awesome tradition in the making. Unfortunately Lance and Chuck couldn’t make it, along with some friends of ours that wanted to go. Going on trips like these makes owning a motorcycle about a billion times more fun and enjoyable. We all had fun, can’t wait til next year.
And We’re off
We stopped at Winthrop for some good mexican food, and rest.
What fun is a trip without a few casualties.
Here’s David giving me the peace sign, and dad farther back.
Now, here’s big D racing by me.
Here’s a bad picture of my dad on his beast of bike riding by me.
Like father like son. These next pictures were taken at stevens pass, very beautiful.
Last year there we only had 4 of us, this year we had 5. Hopefully we can get more people to come the following year.
Rob was going to pick some flowers for his wife, but after smelling them decided not to.
Here’s all of us at mom and Dad’s right before we all take off on our trip.
