Avocado Pasta

Avocado pasta is easy to make. Just need some salt, garlic and onions to do the job. I think just avocado alone is too thick so I added abit of fresh milk to make it smoother. Taste good!

Wedding Band

We finally got our wedding band searching high and low, from Tiffany & Co, Love & Co, Lee Hwa, SK, to those jewellery shops that sells pearls and jades,we settled for a pair at Sookee.
We did not like the idea of having a ring with rose gold, but this particular ring struck us. Both of us finally found a pair that we like. To our surprise, a slight bit of rose gold is not too bad at all. It is not obvious and blends together very well. Something that we will have for the next journey together.

Solemnization

Finally got ourself registered for solemnization. We decided not to go for a reception. Probably a dinner together with our family and close relatives. That will save us some budget for a better wedding banquet sometime after wifey's graduation. So exciting!

Love Nest

So exciting! We finally got our queue number that does not exceed the quota! The last BTO exercise was bad. Not only we did not get out queue number within the quota, our queue number exceeded by only approx 56 numbers. When the high floors were mostly taken up, and by the time it was inching near to our scheduled selection date, only 2nd and 3rd floors were left. We gave up in the end when HDB called us if we are going down to select our flat.

Good thing we gave up! I think our prayers were heard when we visited Guan Yin Temple and the Big Buddha at Phuket together. Can't wait for the selection! We have went to site and roughly know what we wanted, and I have done some research on the room types.

Engagement

It is official. We are no longer single. Now I am engaged. Soon after our engagement, we received news that we were soon getting our precious love nest. Hopefully we can get the unit we wanted!

A present

Yesterday, I had the most sumptuous dinner. Esther treated me to Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant. We had pork knuckle and a chicken and ham pizza. It was great! But quite expensive though. I shall try to make pork knuckle next time for her.
I got a Burberry Touch perfume as a present. Smells good! I like the bottle. Very unique shape, especially the cap.

Long time no blog

3 months since my last blog.

Woke up on Thursday morning with a bad back ache, chest pain, and had a feeling of throwing up.

Woke up on Friday morning, back ache slightly better, chest is still in pain, and still had the feeling of throwing up. After a morning presentation to client and lunch, I went to the clinic. Lunch time, bad timing. All the clinics are closed during lunch time. I had to wait till 2am for the shutters to be up, but still have to wait for the doctor to be back at 2.30. Feeling terrible.

Had my temperature checked and it was 38degrees. I had my meds after the consultation, and went home by bus. Slept all the way due to the drowsy cough and phlegm med.

Saturday, my dear came to visit me before she went back JB.

Today, dear is coming to visit me again before she go back home. very sweet of her. She bought me fruits and even removed the skin and seeds from the grapes. Love you so much!

Still having bit of chest pain and always having diarrhoea. Wonder if it was the meds or there's something wrong with my digestive system.

Still have lots of work to do. haiz...

Another Walk Walk

I have neglected my blog for so long. I am back! Yes, I am still alive. I had been busy with work and was so lazy to blog.

I had a great walk with Esther today again, but it was shorter than the previous. 6.34km this time.

Passed by Hong Lim complex and the market lights were up. I felt a sense of achievement to see it completed. Can be better I thought. Thought I was not involved in most of the design work, I think I managed to pull it off together with some of my colleagues till now. My very first portfolio project.

I was glad that I made a right choice of removing the bamboos from the original design for this signage. It looks pretty good at night. But I wished I had a change to design a better signage than this. Oh well, at least it is not as bad as I thought.

Another sight that brings back memories of the old HDB letter boxes design. The sound of the letter flaps when the postman slots the letters into the boxes, I misses them.

1st year anniversary

Today is my father's first year passing anniversary. Just 3.5 hrs from now, is the time I found my father laying motionless at the kitchen entrance. Helplessly, I went to call for my sister and mother, then 911 for the ambulance. Trying very hard to resuscitate him. I know he tried to make be notice his fall that time by making some noises knocking the chairs beside him but it took me a while to react to find out what is happening in the kitchen. I regret for being too late for him.

dreams of anguish

This morning I dreamt about introducing Esther Ng to my daddy, and declared that we will be getting married. Soon after, my daddy passed away. I woke up with despair.
Last morning, I had a dream about my daddy. We had quite a good time together, preparing to go NTUC together like the old days from our old Bukit Merah home.
Lunar new year is coming and dreams of my daddy is popping out. Is that a sign my daddy is back to visit us? I missed him alot, especially knowing that one of my close friend's father passed away just few days ago.

KL Trip 2011

It is our first overseas holiday trip. Though not quite considered overseas for you, but it is still our first holiday! I had an enjoyable trip overall.

Hotel room was great! Food in KL was great! These are the 2 things that made me so reluctantly leave for home. I am now looking forward to our next holiday!
