Week 20- Poppy's a girl!
Today was the detailed scan which involves taking measurements of vital organs and physical features. We could even see the blood flow and listen to audio clips of what's going on inside my womb. The whole experience was so amazing but a pity that T could not be there. BFF accompanied me instead which was really special. Here's poppy all healthy and well. Oh and she's a GIRL!!

Week 19 -Poppy Kicked
Poppy kicked me for the first time! It feels so amazing, like butterflies in the tummy but only stronger and firmer. This gotta be the best part of pregnancy so far. Looking forward to more kicks!

Week 18 -BabyPlus
Poppy started his/her first lesson with BabyPlus, a prenatal educator that plays sounds mimicking mummy's heart beat that is easy for baby in womb to comprehend. Apparently babies who've used BabyPlus are easy to nurse, cries lesser, sleeps better and learn faster. It's a 1 hour session to be played twice a day. This means that i've to wake up an hour earlier than usual to play the lesson before heading to work. It's been tiring so far but I'm more than happy to do this for Pops. People laugh at how crazy I am doing this for the baby but it doesn't harm to try it knowing I could give my baby the best head start.
