going out

yayee..we finally managed to meet up! haha..yep three of us (wif xinyi and agnes) meet every sunday but jus no time to go out together..ha...today was short but nice..ha at least neoprint was nice :D and hope we didnt make gx feel so left out :p

jus now was spore idol..and fish just told me smth so happy i'm not e only one who thot lidat..haha...olinda sang 'cant take my eyes of u'..and it was not bad...ha but the most impt part was it reminds us of 4a1!!! hehe...yep yep...brings back good memories of when mrs ang was pregnant and our own longest day. haiz. feel old.

another day over...another day wasted..ha...sorta getting sick of going to town. but it's the ppl u go out wif that matters!!! and tml i'm meeting gill and fish and e rest!! not v sure who else's coming..but cant wait :D :D :D

Les Choristes

watched Les Choristes today!! super nice....yup i so so agree wif yiwen when she said that the boy sop was just so soulful..his eyes..his singing...ah...u'll jus melt when he starts to sing..it's so sweet la...really love those little boyish voices...really sound so angelic..hah

and poor boy cos i think most ppl jus call him the boy sop..haha...but i really like peppinot too!! hahah..he's so so so so adorable!! haha...jus feel like pinching him...hehe...the way he speaks..haha...really so cute..haha....

haha yep little boys are the best :D heh.

after that walked around wif far and gq..haa...and i found this really really nice necklace..haha...yay so happy i bought it :D it's green. hehz. dunno why. it just looked perfect hehe :p

had choir pract at nite...quite nice...less ppl tho...if only more ppl came :D

piano exam results

wow...one month has flown by so quickly! was eating dinner happily just now when the phone suddenly rang and i heard my mum answer it with a 'orh Ms Kwong ar?'. my heart skipped a beat. ms kwong. piano exam. results.

they chatted for a little while before passing the phone to me, and yep. there i was, getting ready to hear my result, desperately hoping it'd be something i wanted to hear.

she finally said it.. i heard the words merit, 125...and i was already 'thank God! i passed! ' haha....before writing this entry, couldnt help but look back to my previous entry just after the exam and after those studio practices...smiling at how i was consoling myself that it aint that bad after all..and now its done.

not totally elated bout the result, but just thankful that i passed it. :D i remember clearly i truly trusted in God. :)

Siam kitchen :)

heheh was feeling kinda lost like nothing to do after sch today except go home and 'study' for physics s tml..haha..was feeling damn sianz nobody to even walk out of sch wif...then met lost lost agnes too...haha :p turned out that both of us were feeling exactly the same haha so decided to go eat lunch together. hehe..the day suddenly seemed brighter. :D

went to thai noodle house but it was closed!! argh...determined to eat tomyam (being us), decided to go all the way to lot one to eat at siam kitchen...hahahaa...but was fun...toked so much on the way and while eating. yay. nice tomyam glass noodles too (cept there was a chilli padi stuck in my throat) hehe but was nice cos it's thai food!! :D :D hehe..ok greedy pigs.

okies. tml phy s.then it'll be over over over!!! hehe...planning to eat Gill and the rest on fri!! cant wait man.. :D :D and going to ms ng's house on sat too!! happy zero activity week. :D

yayee!! new layout..hehe..like the picture...it's so sweet..haha...flipped thru so many blogskins, hoping to find the one that just clicked..this one jus immediately made me wanna use it..haha..so after tons of editing (cos SOME ppl keep criticising the colour and the tagboard :p ) it's finally done..hehz...

haha met yiwen fish eliza in the morn before they went to watch the french movie on the choir boy..so sad i couldnt join them :( ...but no matter how short it was, i'm so glad we could just meet and tok for even a little while...haiz..somehow..it's just different wif u guys...and i'm sure that talk made us all feel so 'not-alone' rite? hehe :p

then met christina and fareena!! haha...fun fun today...made christina buy lotsa stuff which she doesnt think she's gonna use..haha...i told her she's growing up...fareena wonders when she'll grow up..hehe... :p yay..always fun spending time wif u all..ha..

yest was fun..but so tiring..and it ended on a nice note tho..really glad to haf had a chance to share wif frens after the play...really thank God for that chance. :) hope it helped in some way, no matter how little it was.

woohooo!!! prelims over!!

yep yep!! it's finally reached a close..ha...on a sad note tho. chem paper wasnt exactly enjoyable..and fm was...haiz..really nothing to say. haiz.
it's just totally argh! argh! argh! i think it's like kind of the worst math paper i ever did in my entire life so far. :(

well..but good thing for the outing after that...totally took my mind off the horrible papers...it was so fun..hehe...probably my most fun end-of-exam-day celeb..hehe...jus lots of laughter everywhere we went haha :p

we started off wif guoqing piercing her ears!! hehe...cant believe she just did it rite away..haha...was fun to go wif frens and do it..ha...den after that went perlinis...den we went to breeks for dinner! haha..but end up we all didnt eat breeks...ate the korean food instead..ha..but stil nice. haha...christina la...give each of us all her vege..haha..end up i had big headed bean sprout x2...ha..but it was nice :p

oh wait before dinner i almost forgot we went for the maf food fair thing in taka..hah....first thing we saw was venezia..(i'm like wat has it got to do wif maf?!) haha but anw...christina wanted to eat the mango ice cream..haha.and we walked on and tasted stuff..ha..quite fun...then we met this desperate and slightly weird drink seller..hah....like was determined to make us try his wheatgrass drink..haha.. the second time we walked near there, we took an alternative route. :p oh and we didnt manage to eat the rou gan...haha..they didnt haf any samples..but determined christina wanted to haf it :p haha so after dinner we went again and there was finally some..haha....so funny...oh in the end she oso bought ice cream after dinner...ha...while the rest of us are looking forward to next week's venezia outing again. :)

den after that...we saw this person wif a funky afro hairdo..haha...they went crazy trying to see him up close..ha...but den...hehe...felt that it was so act cool la..haha..chinese trying to act afro..haha..

then we went to some shops in wisma...and finally landed ourselves in topshop...and it was so fun..haha..cos we zoomed into the accesories section and started trying on the hats first..haha..dumbos..laughing so loudly while trying on hats necklaces and bracelets..haha..fareena was so funny..hhaa...tring on every bangle and bracelet and posing wif her hand..hhaah...looking cool like empress dowager when she go put on some oldie bangle and place her hand on the stand..haha.. and christina thot i was strangling her when i put the long long necklace on her...haahhaha..lol...and not forgetting artist hats which christina said was too small for her head..hehe...the hats were cool!!den after that roamed around the store and identified clothes which we could imagine mrs bad in..haha...

after that felt kinda tired..but..hehe...we were still bent on taking neoprint! haha...walked to far east to take...hehe...where got long la...quite fast ma walk there..haha..anw...almost couldnt find it. but glad we did. cos it was so fun!!! hehe...found this machine wif lots of cool funky backgrounds as sliding curtains..haha....fun fun..and our photos turn out nice!! hehe..

yay yay...so happy..hehe...think most of the fun cannot be expressed in words la..but it was just a simple and really enjoyable day. thank you for it. :D love ya all lots.

after phy, on the way home, did qt cos in the morn didnt haf space on the bus to do it.. think it was kinda God's blessing for me to read the passage after the paper...taught me that i just hafta submit to God and trust in His plans....dun keep trying to rely on urself cos i really haf to come to terms wif the fact that even tho we might haf abilities, all these without God would come to nought.

Big lessons for me =)

ha..today went quite smoothly..the fm paper..but realised i made a stooopid careless mistake...ha...how can the words y coordinate look like x coordinate to me..haha..but anyhow..it's over le..and i'm so so thankful the paper wasnt as bad as i had imagined it to be.. hehz

read a very encouraging passage today for qt...learnt so many lessons from just this one chapter...James chapter 1... so true so true..and even though it's been written for such a long time, it's so amazing that all in it is still so applicable to life today. some verses really hit me. hard.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish it's work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will b given to him. joined zan mei hui

joined church choir yest---think it's something i've been wanting to do since like 9? hehz...but yep..finally made the decision to participate in zan mei hui...and i noe deep in me that God's time is meant for God, no point taking it and trying to study...cos i noe a few hours off sunday wont count..not as if i'll become some ace jus cos of those extra hours rite? yep...i also needa work under stress la...cant work if i'm too free..haha..sounds weird..yeah..but when i'm too free..jus slack, very very inefficient man..so mayb gotta haf some stuff in ur life to keep you busy and really get you going.

joined very excitedly, but after the practice, i mus say that i felt quite out of place, like almost weird..heartening to see everyone so enthu, yes. but somehow, jus feel that they're enthu in the wrong way or wrong direction? haha...oso dunno how to describe, but guess its jus totally differetn from what i'd been expecting..i noe it's wrong of me to haf such high expectations, because i've come to learn that God does not look at the quality, but the heart of service..wat's the point if it's like some professional choir, but everyone's jus there for teh sake of singing? nope..everyone's there for the LOVE of singing and SERVING. yep. we jus call it different from a school choir.

well our guest conductor was none other than gtc..ha...well he reminded me of ms l and our own choir, the times we had in germany and all..haiz...when he was sharing with the choir bout some fantastic and creative choirs he heard at the competition, i couldnt help but be reminded of all the days we had spent there..haiz...feeling sad again....missing choir loads. and loads.

life's so sian now...jus studying...and the prob is i'm not even doing effective studying...haiz oso dunno la..my only consolation is i take dobule math? hehe :p not exactly mugging subjects hehz ...well..looking forward to the end of the year....we can go caroling again! :) :)

haa so many things to do at the end of the year!!family hol, alpha camp, caroling, christmas, prom, and jus having fun!!! :) :) heh. see la, havent even fully tasted the bitter and i'm dreaming bout the sweet le. haiz.

hehehehe yep yep it was such a fun day today..haha..kinda 'relived' the 'end-of-yr' period (wat we call it) and jus totally haf fun wif church frens...hehe...

oso dunno how to convey how i feel..but guess..it's jus boils down to a really really simple statement..today we jus simply, had lots and lots of FUN, TOGETHER. yep. that's the main word. together. :D

hehe...oops realised i havent even said wat event it was today..haha..it was church carnival today..haha...started off wif a whole morning shift tending the stall jungle mania..quite fun la haha got lots and lots of really cute children!!! hehe...then i think this game the most popular cos it's the easiest too :p hehe...so yep..was kept on my feet most of the time..but it was fun. :D

after that three of us, xinyi agnes and i ventured ard..pigging out..haha...cos knowing us..didnt wanna spend our coupons on games..hah..so wat else but food? hehz

den went to listen to vic, dz, jf, lt, xzy perform...haha...laugh until cannot laugh anymore..hahha....hokkien song...haha....best..it's jus so them :p

then cant remember wat else happened..haha..oh think after that we went to help out wif the other stalls...ha...glenn with his fishing stall and gs wif his duckie stall haha...quite fun..haha..in the end we ended up trying so hard to catch all the fish which were still alive..haha...met some really smart fish which learnt to feign dead :p hahaha...crap...

oh den comes the fun part! haha...telematch..haha...at first dz come ask us to play den three of us were lik err..hhaa...like not the 'telematch-kinda ppl'..hahah...but in the end i'm glad we relented...haha.....tho simple games la..but kinda reminded me of alpha camp, yf retreats and stuff...haiz....so fun to jus enjoy like that..in simple fun...and we won first too!! ahaha.....yep xinyi..like wat u said in ur comment...doesnt matter wat ppl said..wat matters is we had fun ourselves!!! :D :D yay..haha...and agnes i so so so so agree wif u abt missin christmas and church camp and all...missing the times when everyday it was jus church camps, mission trip or christmas celeb items we were worrying about..haha...yep..cant wait for that time coming up this yr :D :D
