It will also be our 9th year anniversary getting together.
Have been really busy with all the preparations, and since I don't like last-minute work, somehow I am more relaxed for the coming one week before our ROM. Yes, it is just a ROM...not to worry so much. Hope everything will turn out well.
Have been down with food poisoning since Tuesday. Very bad indeed. Can you imagine you have to visit the loo every 30 minutes...I am amazed how stubborn I am to not go home and continue working. hahaha. I believe I am a sadist, to myself. Have been eating tasteless food for days, and I can't even finish my portion. Sorry that I have wasted quite an amount of food, but I really can't eat much. Worse is I need food before I can have my medication, so I have to force myself to eat. However, I am quite thankful that I got this food poisoning....which can help me to eat less and slim down? hahaha...a blessing in disguise?
Great meetings with friends and colleagues...really spent my day well yesterday meeting them. Many people think that I am crazy enough to go down to West for Christmas celebration when I am on leave. "You are on leave, but why do you still have to go to work?" So on and so forth...But I don't think it is a hassle at all. In fact I enjoyed doing it, and I am glad that I did that. I met up with the consultants, and know them more. You need to know them well in order to work well with them, that's what I think. They are a bunch of bubbly and nice people, as long as it doesn't concern work! Oops! Met up with my dearest primary school friends too. As usual, they are very entertaining...lolz. Never-ending conversations...I realise that I actually love to talk. A lot. Some how that trait in me has hidden deeper and deeper inside me over the years...what has happened I have no idea. Well, all these meetings won't be so smooth without my best chauffeur, boi!! Really appreciate that he went down all the way to Jurong with me to meet my colleagues, celebrated Xmas together, and accompanied me to meet my friends as well. Thank you so much! :)
I love December! It is a period where there will be many gatherings and updating on "current affairs". hahaha. It is also a time to look back and reflect on the things that you have accomplished, the setbacks, the joys and sorrows. If only our memories can be turned into a video clips, and we can archive them every year in our computers...when we are free, we can click on these clips and play them. It will be wonderful! We will need a whole lot of memory storage for this. Ok, enough said.
