Bidding Farewell to 200Eight

Cleared 2 days leave, ugh I don't feel like going back to work. I remember the many days of just chilling at home, otherwise known as bumming around. So much has happened in 2008 and I bet many magazines and newspapers has already highlighted them already. Well what about the J-story?

  • I successfully completed my IAP in Feb
  • Graduation in March
  • Bummed around
  • Worked at my aunt's firm
  • Bummed around
  • Enlisted in Oct

I went to take a peek at my previous year end entries and I found nothing great. Likewise, this year end would be uneventful for me. I'll be holing myself at home probably stuck to the computer. I'd just wish that something was different.. you know? But it never is and will probably never be. But on the up-side, I'll be having half day today, which means more time to bum around like always.

Yes Man

Caught Yes Man today. Fantastic movie. Witty and hilarious. Loved many parts of the movie. Can't wait for the DVD. Btw, a little bit of trivia. Jim Carey bungees off a bridge without having a stuntman.

Christmas 08

Merry Christmas to all.

Ok so <3 and I went to Marina Square and then to Suntec and Bugis today. Frankly the crowd was unexpected. I'm pretty sure the crowd was much less than yesterday or the day before. Heck I shouldn't even be complaining that no one's out.

We went to Ma Maison for dinner. It's some Jap-Western mix cuisine. It has qutie a soothing ambience but I still felt that the cost didn't justify my palette at all. And also, I just realised just how bad the 3.2mp on my E71 actually is. It's so frickin pixilated.

Nokia E71

Finally at long last, I got my phone!

Whoopie doo daa

Photos taken from GSM Arena

One thing I cant get used to is the red ON/OFF button and that there's no dedicated camera button. oh well... It's a great phone nonetheless. Slips into my pocket with such ease and calls are sharp, loud and clear. New toy!

Marley & Me

It's been awhile since I last updated. 9 days to be exact. Life has been normal.. Or however normal it could be in NS. I'm broadening my perspective and I decided to enrol in a financial course. Probably AFP, but I still haven't found out how much it costs yet.

Also, I booked a date for my Final Theory Test... again..... oh so humiliating. I want to make the most out of my 2 years, well not within NS itself, but to use that that to enrich myself. I feel so old now.

Anyway, I just completed this book:

It's a non-fictional book written by John Grogan who tells a tale about the world's worst dog and how he was, to John Grogan, the best dog in the world. The book is really fun, not so much of the dull non-fiction books you'd always find yourself chucking aside, but rather an entertaining and light hearted story that brings a smile to your face as well sadness towards the ending. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it thoroughly and it really teaches you how to treasure your loved ones. Even so much as to a dog.

Christmas is around the corner! Which also brings the year to an end. I sure hope 2009 brings me much hope and joy x)
