i start to get use to everything at my workplace.. though my work can get bored at times, but so far so good..
ended a course 2 weeks ago, and it just feels so good to be back in office.. the daily work, weekly meeting, calling vendor once in a while, walking to colleague's desk just to chat =)
had the department's welcome lunch last thursday at parkway parade's swensen.. though it's not only for me, but for all the other newcomers of the department, but it feels good! after lunch, went to meet my mentor, and he's a nice man! so gentleman and talks nicely, and teaches me to grab chances to perform..
sighz.. exams are around the corner, and it's getting more and more stress.. :(

Was on course for the past one week, and it's an in-house course... supposed to be going to the super west side for the lesson, but the venue was later changed to office! yea!
Survived the lessons, with the help of mentos and barley mint! supposed to be ending the course by 5.30pm everyday, our course ended much earlier.. Since it's an in-house course, of course i went back to office.. As usual, went back to office after the course on wednesday and sit at my colleague's desk to chat.. And after chatting for dunno how long, got spotted by boss and was asked to do something and ended up leaving office at 6.30pm... I think this will be the one and only time which i will be staying so late for work..
Friday's course is unexpected short as it lasted only half a day.. Considering that going out with colleagues after work and didnt inform mum that i'm going back for lunch, i stayed in office and lunch wif colleagues and went home after lunch.. Yawnz! So lazy to do assignments and went online instead..
Having my first department gathering on friday evening, Oktoberfest! This is super nice as this is my first visit to such an atas german restaurant for pork kunckles.. It's kinda awkward when the seat beside u is allocated and reserved, and the person is being force to sit beside you.. Knowing that we cant drink, my colleagues still ordered a cup of beer for me and my dearest bff colleague.. Well, i have a small sip and it taste too bitter! And my nice colleagues said, if we cant drink, just pass it over and someone else will drink it! And yea, the drink was passed down! =D It seems like an excuse, but the reason of me not drinking is because my dad says i cant drink outside..
Awkward moment starts when the person sitting beside me went to toilet and someone opposite starts to ask me questions like how do i think of the guy, and stuffs like that.. Ahhh.. kinda weird! coz i cant say good and i cant say no good.. seems like the matchmaking session.. But they stopped asking when the person sitting beside me came back..
Nice colleagues sent me back to my lift and sees me entering the lift before driving off.. Thanks Maj Chua! And after reaching home, another colleague sent me an fb msg asking if i'm home.. so sweet of him! Although this might just be a forwarded message, or he could have send the message to many other colleagues, but well, still thanks, for at least taking the effort to send the message..
It was an enjoyable nightout with colleagues! Nice chilling with them and hopefully there are more chances on having the gathering!
Went to the art museum (SAM) yesterday morning for research on arts for an assignment.. To my surprise, there is a Singaporean Artist who does very open arts like stripping in public and even getting her mother to strip in photos.. Of course the parts that need to be covered are covered, but she is still quite liberal!
Went for barbecue last evening as my BIL's brother sold his condo and wanted to utilize the amenities before it's gone, so the BBQ! was kinda bored coz sis, BIL and Lucas went back at 9 plus.. And the rest of the people are my other BIL's friends.. One of them is my lecturer! Such a coincidence!
I spent around one hour to finish a can of 330ml beer coz it seriously stinks.. Had a craving for beer since friday night coz everyone is drinking and you are the only one who is not drinking.. So, under the parental guidance (with dad around), i drank bit by bit, sip by sip, cup by cup and eventually it took me about an hour... And after that, it's time to go home.. It's just so nice that when leaving, my lecturer said see you on tuesday! Hah! He remembers me now! And ya, he's a nice person.. Got the kinda hangover after just one can.. But i am not drunk! I still know what am i doing, so i am not drunk.. Reached home and off to bed i go before i threw up.. And it works! The stuffs were stuck in my throat and i had a sweet to get rid of the stinky smell and go to bed just like that, and slept till 4am until a friend whatsapp me..
Posted the can of beer on fb and seems like no one believe that i drank that! They doubted me.. This can of drink is once in a blue blue moon time which i drink! Hopefully when they believe that i drank, they wont ask me to drink wif them...

Finally! after the 5 days course and this week is back to office before going for another 2 weeks course!
One day after lunch, having drink in office, a colleague asked if we drink? as in alcoholic drink.. wow! its like years since i last drank beer! and took a sip of red wine before and left the glass there are tasting the super bitter taste..
Friendly colleagues are organizing a gathering! Dinner cum drinking session, and its next friday! woohoo! sho sho looking forward! =p But hopefully will have transport home!
A colleague dumbfolded me by asking "So, what happened?". He asked so, what happened to me and my ex, and the following day, he asked, so what happened, why did i leave my previous job.. dun really felt like answering.. coz some stuffs are best left unsaid...
had my first volleyball session yesterday! its just so nice, coz the people which we played wif are nice people.. Brought my gears and ready to learn, but no one is teaching me.. They are having a friendly match instead, and asked me to join in.. My team mates are so nice that i dunno how to play, they taught me bit by bit.. Even when i didnt serve the ball well, they are giving encouragements.. They are just that nice.. Hope will get this kinda privilege the next time i play with them.. =p
Had dinner with 2 of my colleagues after the vball game, at singpost @ paya lebar.. Home time after that.. didnt wanna take train from paya lebar coz its still far from bishan, so asked colleague if he will pass by anywhere nearer to bishan... And he said novena and novena shall be it! Eventually he sent me home! nice colleague! =D
Looking forward to the next vball game! hopefully is after exams!

Went to chalet last weekend and barbecued! Having been barbecuing for like 1 to 2 years.. And also went swimming and jogging.. Didnt really swim but played in the pool.. brought my jogging shoes too, and went jogging on Sunday morning.. Realised that i cant run anymore! Sighz! Went to mac for breakfast and sis and i bought the breakfast and sat there for our tea first! The guys at the next table was funny.. One accidentally spilt his mc cafe and when the cleaner came, his friend kept saying 他不够睡.. kept on repeating.. We were like, shouldnt u be helping your friend to clean up? why are u laughing at him! So bad yet funny coz of the way that he spoke..
Was playing in the pool that afternoon, and literally jumped out of the pool when i recalled that i am going to west side for course on monday and i have to go home early today to sleep.. haiz.. this is call stress..
Went for an induction course which lasted 5 days, and it's in the west.. And for this course, i am waking up at 5 odd am to prepare and meeting a colleague at 7 plus to go to the west.. Singapore is small yet its taking me an hour to reach the west from bishan..
The course was kinda boring coz of the lectures were dry.. But the tour around the vicinity was good.. Coz at least u get to know what other department does.. and was awe by what my company does! seriously its amazing! A super big fire broke out on a island on wednesday night and my poor colleagues working hard there.. And the few of us at the course kept refreshing out phones for updates of the fire, coz our poor colleagues are there... They are seriously amazing coz they are working when we are sleeping sound at home, and having fun else where.. so jia you colleagues!

Started my new job 3 weeks ago and my new colleagues are super friendly and nice! Met my new bff over there and we chat about almost everything, so everything is good! =D
On the day of interview, i realise that "hey, cousin is working there too!"and just days before starting on my new work, got to know that coincidentally cousin and i are working in the same department! =D
After weeks of working, went into a dilemma a few days ago on whether to attend my first lesson in school or attend an important function at work. Was enlightened by a colleague that the attending the function could affect my future in this organisation and so i went for the function and skipped class..
The function was simply awesome! Coz it showcased all which a newbie needs to know, and as a newbie, i didnt absorb much, but just thinking it was awesome event! The event was at super west side and super duper ulu. Thankfully i got a colleague who lives near me, sent me home.. Thanks Colleague! =D
Yesterday was just a more than common day which i blew my 24th candle. Was kinda surprise when a colleague came to ask me is my birthday today, coz he saw thru fb... Was even more surprise and my thoughful colleagues dug out her stuffs and put it together and gave it to me as a birthday present... Although is nothing expensive, but seriously is the thought that counts.. This is a pleasant surprise! =D
Went for dinner at Swissotel @ Merchant Court.. Though its my birthday, but dining there is to celebrate my parents birthday, and not mine. -.- Reached there like 6.30pm and waited and waited before my parents, sisters and BILs to arrive.. Its just a long wait.. But luckily sis reached like 6.55pm and we just start grabbing the food, since its a buffet.. Kept on hinting my sisters that its my birthday and i got no cake and my sisters said since its a buffet, then asked me to go grab the small cakes and treat it as a birthday cake.. And this is how i got my birthday cake platter.. For the first time in like 20 over years, i dun have a cake for birthday.. And i guess this is the one and only buffet which i have been eating like 3 hours..
* Will not go to this hotel for buffet anymore.. Just because there are a lot of foreigners snatching the food with you, and the food variety wasnt that much and the complimentary parking which was given, only allows car owners to park free for 2 hours! This is definitely not the way to gain more customers to go to the hotel for dinner.. Who will leave in 2 hours when u r having buffet? Crap lor.. And i never see any foreigners who takes one full plate of oysters before.. This is the first time, and i think that person is going to having his tummy aching if the oyster gets bacteria..
Well, this will be the first and last time..
