3days at Bintan.
Had fun and enjoyed throughout the trip.
Their Currency is around S$1 = 6800Ruppiah
Their time is 1 hour later than us. 6PM in SG = 5pm in Bintan.
Day1This is the very first picture I took in Penguin(Name of the ferry).
At the very back there is Tenan Merah Ferry Terminal.
I dun like almost all the photos I took in Day1. :(
Heh.
We met at 9.30am at Bedok Interchange for breakfast.
Howeverrrrrr, I'm lateee as usual..
Haha. (:
I reach at about 10am.
Than had Chee Kuay and Carrot Cake as Breakfast.
Went to find Liyan, Jolene and WeiQiang and went ShengSiong to get some snacks/sweets.
Than headed back to interchange and waited for the rest who havn't reach yet.
Boarded bus35 and headed to our destination. :D
Got our boarding pass from Jansen and waited awhile before boarding the ferry.
Than started taking photo in the ferry! Lolx!
It took around 1hr30mins to reach Bintan..
Their town area is very different from ours..
There's only 1 KFC and no Macdonalds nor Pizza Hut there. :D
Took another 1hour ride journey to our resort..
It's around 4pm or 5pm+ when we reach there i think.. (SG Time)
We started choosing our room and unpacking in our room.
My roommates are WeiQiang and KJ.
We got one of the 'best' room for Day1, 7202.
Cos only Mine and Felix+Nic's room got Bathtub.
But... Our room is kinda isolated from the rest.. Haha..
We're the 10+ rooms away from the rest.. -.-
We have some free time to roam around..
It's low tide at that period of time we reach.
So no water sports for us..
Almost everything there is out for rent..
Even that Buggy Car.. (The mini vehicle they used in golf club)
30mins for S$10..
Worth it sia.. It's an experience..
So Liyan, WQ, Jolene, KJ and I Rented 2 of them and drive around the resort..
30mins is more than enuff..
We took turns to drive.. Haha.. Funfun..
Than saw the rest of i.HUB members and they drove for awhile before returning the car.
We waited for our bus and wasted another 1hour in bus to town.
We had our dinner at Jansen's aunt shop..
Not bad.. I like most of their dish.. Especially their beef.
Sadly we only ordered one to try.
Than headed to Shopping center to shop around..
Due to time constrain, we only got 45 to 1 hour to shop if i didn't remembered wrongly..
Nothing much to buy.. Only bought 1 sunglasses for myself and gave it to Joanna.. :D
WQ, Liyan, Jolene and KJ also bought 1 sunglasses each..
Than headed to their supermarket to get some water and some snacks for midnight.
Their beer there is super uber cheap.
Their cigarette there is even cheaper.. -.-"
Their beer there cost around S$1.50 to S$2.50 each can.
Their cigarette cost 14k????!!!! or lesser. Which is less than S$2..?
We bought like 18 cans of beer.
I didn't drink though. (:
Than went back to our resort..
The very first night was spent with Liyan, Jolene, WQ and KJ.
Had maximum fun throught that night..
Played lots of game.. They drank beer whereas i drink water.
I'm drunk by water. :D
Played till 3am plus (Bintan time)
Than went disturb the other i.HUB members with WQ and KJ..
They also had fun and was about the sleep..
So we disturb them abit before we left their rooms..
Than went to walk around with WQ and KJ a round before heading back to our rooms to sleep.
That's all for Day1.
Day2Woke up at 8am plus(Bintan time).
And went for our breakfast.
Their breakfast there, the good thing is i can order whatever eggs i want.
Scramble, Omelets, Sunny side up, etc etc..
And Kuay Teow, Noodle, Fried Rice, etc etc..
They cook on the spot and deliver it to you.
But it's still kinda limited(to me) ah.. :D
The food is above average.
Than have like 3hours of free time to do whatever we want around the resort..
So went to walk around, wanted to play water sports..
But due to low tide(again), we can't play any exciting games! =((
The only sports is left with is Kayaking.
S$5 for 30mins.
Most of their games/rental are in SGD.
Only their souvenirs and drinks/snacks sold in the resorts are in Rupiah.
They willing convert the price and sell you in SGD too.
Drinks in the resort is around S$1.20 to S$2 plusplus.
Depending on what you buy.
The 5 of us played kayaking.
Me and Jolene, Liyan and WeiQiang, KJ solo..
Funfun. We kayak-ed to a hut on the sea nearby,
Than back to the resort there.
Kayak and rest awhile..
Kept competing with one another.. ;p
That 30mins is really tiring.. -.-
After our 30mins were the other i.HUB members.
They came 30mins later than us..! so so so wasted!! =(
If not we can kayak together..
7 of them.. haha.. I only know they kayak till very far..
Cos theirs is 1 hour.
But sadly when they are back it's already low tide..
LOL!! So they have to pull back their yak to the shore! lolx..
Than the 5 of us went swimming pool to soak and slack awhile..
Liyan Jolene and WQ went up to wash up first
Than awhile later me and KJ went up too..
Bathed.. Wanted to use the bathtub.
Waited for the water level to reach the rim of the tub..
But in the end i didn't use it.
After i bathe finish, the bathtub STUCKED!
Omfg. So my room's shower is no longer usable. :x
After finish bathing went walkwalk and met the rest of our friends at the lobby.
Than received news that 4 of the rooms are gonna upgrade for free!
Mr Lee by default took 1, so left with 3.. We have total of 8rooms.
Gordon & CM, Jansen and Jason, Wan Yee and AnQi were the lucky ones. =(
Took some group photos before heading off to the city again..
Half way to the city we stop by a otah shop to get some otah.
The otah portion is very little.. But it's quite nice..
each person 5sticks.
Shopshop for another 30mins whereas Jansen book our ticket back to SG.
Stomach ache so went to a nearby toilet to use their toilet. -.-
The toilet in that mini shopping mall got OPENING TIME ONE..
It's CLOSED!
So i went to the one and onli KFC 1 block away to use the toilet. -.-
Went back to find them and bought some snacks and beer again waiting for round2.
Than we headed to another place for dinner..
Satay this time..
And some side dishes..
Got Fish, sotong, sambal kankong, etcetc.
The food not bad.. But the fruit drinks cannot make it. -.-
Because they use those Ice Blender to make them.. :D
than headed back to resort.
Put our things and started playing our FIREWORKS!!
BEST!!! haha.. Funfun.
Got cheap to expensive one.
Obviously the more expensive ones are the nicer ones..
Everyone got a chance to hold at least one on their hands to experience it..
Than had group photo and went back to wash up.
All of us moved our things to those that has been upgraded for free because their room is bigger and nicer!!!
The view is.. 100times better than the previous one.. -.-
Heard the price is 2x of ours. But we got it for free.. Lucky us.
Jansen brought his PS2 along.. So played PS2 in the room.
The rest played card and some resting on the bed and sofa.
I learned a new game.. :D
Circle of death is the name I think..
Super fun. Haha..
Drinking water is the punishment.
Played till most of them are tired and some went to rest and some stayed awake throughout that night. I'm one of the awake one.
That's all for Day2.
Day3Went for breakfast at 7am sharp(Bintan Time).
As Liyan, WQ and Jolene is going back earlier..
So had our breakfast and accompanied them to wait for their car to fetch them to the jetty.
Their boat got delayed and needa wait for the 11am(bintan time) one. Omg.. they rotted there.. T_T
It's finally high tide after 9.30am.
So Bernard, CM, AnQi, and Jason decided to play water sports!
Tried Package A - Banana Boat, Big Mable, Flying Fish for S$30.
Went to soak in the pool till the tide comes in..
And saw felix so asked him if he wants to join us.
Than the lady came and find us to tell us we can play now!
Fun!! Haha.. It's a super fun experience! =D
The best is the flying fish!

Than wash up and rest awhile before heading to Jetty.
Slept throughout the bus and ferry journey cos I'm too tired.. =(
Cabbed home after that and slept for 1 whole day. Lolx.
