i jus cut my hair just now. somehow i REGRETTED. its sooo short now. cos i did it on impulse. it doesnt curl in on its own anymore. HOW. see lah.. and i was browsing thru modparade's model's blog. oh man. i wan her hair!!!!!!!!!!!
well. wats done cannot be undone. fine. i shall make do with what i have then..
on saturday, sis mom and i went charles & keith warehouse sales at tai sing. its so stupid. we were each given a HUGE shopping bag. but we came out empty handed while 99.7% of the ppl had BAGS AND BAGS AND BAGS of shoes. machiam shoes giveaway. what were they buying? the bags are not nice and they are still as expensive. the heels are really alot cheaper and nice but i don wear them. their sandals are not very nice but buyable but there were sooo many ppl crowding at that corner. so forget it. flats? c&k don have nice flats. how sad. can u imagine a trendy zone/mondo warehouse sales? hHEHEHEHE. nice.
march hols are finally here! but im afraid i will be too happy till i forgot to do work. chose not to attend the scouts jobweek. hehe. so bad. i missed out on wii sessions with the guys too! but i wan to go newater with them! wheeee. i hope its fun!
and i really look fwd to thurs!!!!!!!!!!! heehe. fep the new shopping. hahaha.
i hope work wont start again.. i miss studying............................................................................................at least i can just show irritated faces to idiotic ppl who simply love to make ppl's lives difficult. now i cant. my parents told me to play an act. how tiring. im now an actress plus a teacher. haha.

ytd was our 9th month tgt. but guess what, both of us spent the whole afternn tgt and we forgot abt it! i was still telling otto abt the day before, saying that i really cant spend my whole day in cca. and when we finally got tgt, i slpt away a few hours after that sumptious lunch his mom prepared while dear studied. and then it suddenly occured to us it was our 9th month when dear was telling me his schedule.
HAHA. funny hor. WHERE IS MY PRESENT AND CARD? HAHAHAHA
its the third month being a teacher now... the busy schedule aside, i agree with a lot of teachers.. its the N classes whom will be the loving lot.. though they may be rowdy, they are the ones who will greet u the loudest, the ones who will remember u the most. at first, some may give me fierce looks. now, i was able to make them talk to me and even ALMOST confide in me with their own problems. im not there yet, but im sure i will make them open their hearts to me. its probably the nature of being a teacher.. cos i am not going to give up anyone easily!

ytd was a fun day! i woke up early cos i had an early lunch appt with dear and his frens! met dear along the way and with his gps, I (AHEM!) found the way to UIC building!
lunch buffet is at Noble House. its one of the Tung Lok restaurants so the food must be nice! we had some appetisers like wat we would do in a wedding dinner. hhehe. while waitin for the others to arrive, we ordered more food. every dish is sooo nice. finally, all of us were here. we finished the dishes that were on the table so that they can clear the table for our yusheng!
lo hei with dear's frens was CULTURE SHOCK for me! hahahahaha. they literally throw the vege lor!!!! scary! my hand kena abit. but peggan's hand was even worse. the vege fell everywhere on the table. wat was left in the plate were ard 70% of what was prepared. hahaha. later on, the waitress told us that ours is mild case alr. there were incidences where the company went there to lo hei and some ppl got vege on their HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. i tink this is sabotage lor!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA so funny.
we ordered alot alot of sashimi. SOOOOOO NICEEEE. and i got to eat 2 fried mantous!!!!!!! FAVE!!!!!!!! and i love that braised shark's fin soup. not those thick soup that we usu drink.. but its those clear soup that is sooooo sweet and tasty!!!!!!!!!
the desserts are so nice toooo. and i ordered 3 bowls! mango pudding, honeydew sago, red bean paste.
SATISFACTION!!!!!!!!!!!! but its an expensive lunch! each person $52! but all worthwhile!
dear and i went bugis after that. we bai bai-ed. wat was amazing is that we met sinli and guess what!?!?!?!?! we were wearing the same checkered top with black bandage. i think she was wearing the one from cotton on. i almost wore that too but i changed into my zipia bandage in the end. but we looked sooooo comical!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHAHAAHAHA. machiam TWINS! but i was really happy to see her! :)
gg<5 is so disappointing.. i tried so many pieces of clothing but i got none. there's sales everywhere! so happy!
when we were making our way to haji lane, we saw LIPING AND BRYAN!!!!! YEAHHHHH. we talked for half an hour i think. it was nice seeing my maths buddy. HEHEHEHE. hope u have a fun time teaching!
it was quiet at haji. i bot a dress which i liked from modparade at $15!!!!!!!! i was soooooooooo happy! and dear got himself a super clean looking blue long sleeve shirt which i think looks great on him! so happy! we each ahve a modparade paperbag!
we rested at coffeebean at raffles hospital. we bubble-popped, chatted and laughed. it was sooo relaxing and i felt so happy.
went to meet jy at orchard and we made our way to swensens at ion! its really ulu!!!!!! it felt so nice to see everyone from 14/04 again! ok la not everyone. but 10 of us turned up! almost half of the class. we caught up with each other. i was surprised that i was the only one who has started working before ying ying came. it felt weird. cos everyone is still studying and jasmine was even peeping at her astro notes. everyone was worrying about exams and quizzes but me? i was worrying abt marking test papers and preparing for lesson obs on tues. how different..
i was glad von had taken up teaching. its amazing to know the ppl ard me going into the next stage of life.
we finished our food and left. sat outside ion and took lots of photos with their dslr. I WANT ONE TOOOO!!!!!!!!! we are so having fun! and they were playing just married by ashton kutcher! jy and my fave! hehehehehe. it was really nice. cos there were ppl selling food too! really machiam outdoor cinema!!! coool stuff.
thanks to von who organised this event and everyone who turned up. i miss those days in jc where we had so much fun! hahahaha. i hope we can have such gatherings regularly. :):)

today i was getting all ready to go for scouts. when i was about to open the door, mom commented that my clothes look like i was going to ntu. oh man. it suddenly hit me so hard.
I MISS GOING TO NTU.................
nvm abt the distance.. nvm abt the quizzes.. nvm abt the tutorials (i nv do them anyway).. nvm about the exams.. erm.. mayb i do mind abt the exams part. but i really really miss going back to sch to study. cos i know when i reach sch, i will have liping to talk to... and sometimes shi ling. hehe. and then we will be sharing so much abt the news, the tv shows, aiya.. jus anything lor. and then i would have the chance to see dear.. now? SEE GE PI! sian.
and then i miss wearing clothes that i really WANT to wear. the clothes that i REALLY LIKE. now? WEAR GE PI!
hai. thinking abt all these make me feel so depressed.
just now, i was switching channels cos u know, there arent anything interesting on tv on saturday nights. then i came across okto where they were showing an orchestra playing a lovely piece. oh man. it almost brought tears to my eyes.. cos i really miss band. i miss the connection with the conductor.. i miss the connection with the other band mates.. i miss the music.. i miss playing the clarinet. hai. now and then, i will miss the band and i will find myself sighing..
how time flies................... it was 7 years ago when i stepped down from the band..

today is eve of lunar new year. im sooo happy! happy new year!
2010 is special cos it marks the start of my working life. it was tiring, demanding and i had to be righteous and equipped with multi-tasking skills. the most difficult part of all is that i don have time for my dear.
dear, hereby i would like to say thank you and sorry.
sorry cos i din fork out enough time for u. im always slpy and tired and before u know, i would have been asleep on the sofa in the living room without realising it. whats more, i havent wished u goodnight for so many days ever since sch started. im utterly guilty now. it mus have been difficult for u cos sch is always awful but i wasnt there to support u all the time. im sorry if i made u feel that i've taken u for granted.. but i would like to say that i havent felt that way before. its my fault for neglecting u all the time and not sending u sms regularly now. i agree with u.. im not the peiqi who used to send u smses all the time now. im sorry dear...
thank you dear for standing by me all the time. although u irritate me sometimes by your "YOU ARE WRONG!" hahahahaha. so funny. but thank you dear.. i can always tell u very freely anything that u did that might have pissed me off. i know u will understand me and accept my feedback. haha. thank you for ur present. it really surprised me to the max even though my strong sixth sense told me u might want to give me that. hehehe. and thanks for the surprise visit jus now. i love the special present to bits. hahaha. make my gift look so normal. boo. hahaha. thanks dear and sorry to have made u angry again.

last fri, we had a wrap up of our induction with the bosses and i went to bio lab to do some practical!!! it was exciting cos i haven done any practicals for like.... 5 years?!?! omg. but it was some sort of a simple expt of putting the potato strips into the diff conc of glucose solution. haha. but i had a hard time figuring out how to do it. i think the lab tech mus think that im super retarded lor. oops. anyway my expt din turn out well. as expected also..
after which, i returned to the staff roomt to wait for magdalene to end her cca!! and off we went! to tpy safra for KATE SPADE SALES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was super duper excited lah. but i din want to splurge cos i haven got my pay yet! but guess what.. i bought a class noel handbag. for $369. oh man. its definitely sinful. but hey.. i was working so hard! HAHAHHA. oops. in my mind after that huge purchase was "i wanted to control my future expenses. no more impulsive buying!" how determined can i be?
the next day, i went for cca! it was kinda fun despite being on a saturday. i had fun chatting with mr ong and otto. both are interesting guys. very quickly, my cca ended and met up with sinli at the later part of the day.
all i can say is.. more damage done. i bot a pair of high cut oxfords/boots for 15bucks! a checkered top, a nude colour dress from nana room, dear's present, and LOTS LOTS OF INTIMATES!!! hahaha. tts the biggest biggest damage! omg. hahaha. actually no lah. dear's present more ex. hahaha. the receipts from both our purchases almost sums up $176 where we can exchange 2 sets of hong bao feng tao and tiger hp acc. but we only need $5+ to hit 176!!! so sad. hahahahahha. no sweets for us to grab at the counter like ntuc. hahahaha.
and while shopping, i saw my grp of 3n1 boys! OMG! SIAM! HAHAHAHA.
we had dry (not wet HAHA) noodles for dinner with fish soup. and over dinner, we were reminiscing our sec sch days AGAIN! hahahaha/. it was a great day :)

im so sad cos today is already sunday! i had parents' forum ytd. its kind of a culture shock to me cos its my first time attending it as a teacher. and im even more motivated to know the kids now. and i managed to chat with mrs ng! she told me ms mazna is still in xms! i think mrswong too! it feels nice to catch up with her abt xms. sometimes i envy the students for they are still experiencing sec sch life. the best part of my school life.
met up with dear and his super heavy bag after that. we had fun shopping. we bot things for both of us! dinner was at kovan. we headed there specially to have that frog leg porridge but when i saw the menu the boss gave, i was dumb founded. the stall has changed. omg. im so sadded.
so we had herbal chicken hotpot with a plate of broccoli. at least we tried sth different! :)
today, dear and i planned smth which we hope that it will come true in march. we decided to plan an overseas trip in june. in the 3rd of 4th wk of june where he will be done with his special sem and i'll be done with sch stuff. i hope nth comes in between our plans cos both of us need a real vacation. fingers crossed, WE WANT OUR HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

holidays have ended. met up with the girls before sch starts! we were sooooo lazy to go town so at the veyr last minute we decided to go for fish head steamboat at kovan! woohoo. our fave!
i had cca that morning so i was so tired that i slpt my afternn away. overslept and was late. the dress code that day was big sch tees! and i wore our antique 4E1 CLASS TEE!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOO! and we realised whenever we meet we will meet other 4e1 ppl. hahaha. we met teck wee that day!
fish head steamboat dinner was sumptuous. we had fish head steamboat, fried ribs, malay feng guang, and oyster egg!!!!!!! woohoo. after which, we went to jialing's hse to nua again. haha. we exchanged present and sinli got jl's present! which is an ANG BAO. haha. i got von's which is a very very nice pouch from KL! i love it!!!!
kuai le de shi gua zong shi zui duan zhan. it was monday and it's my first day of work! i have to say i din get to sit down for long time. and i din get to rest at all. dress code was VERY STRICT. and i just had to repeat all my long skirts and pants for the mths to come. hai. and i got so stressed up and tired on first day that i came home crying. i cldnt take it. i din have lunch and i felt so lost that i jus felt so out of the way.
but the week proceeded smoothly except for the fact that my thumbprint isnt recognised everytime i sign in and out. im afraid my attendance wont be recognised too. i kinda of like the routine of my life now. waking up at 520am, slping at 10pm. :) :) and im trying very very hard to memo all their names now. HAHAHA.
