I'm da Man
Tonight as we were looking at our family blog together. We went back to look at a picture of JT and asked him who that was. His response was, "mine." I told him to tell his Dad, "I'm the man." His response was so cute, he put up his hands in fists and as he shook them said, "I'm da man." Which of course sparked a friendly argument of who the man of the house is between his dad and him. Next thing you know he was telling his dad to bring it and that he was going to knock him out. These two boys are the cutest things!

Sometimes toddlers help a bit too much!
So let me start off by saying just how much I love my older two children.....More than words! But, sometimes they can be just a wee bit to helpful. For instance, yesterday was the first day I was left on my own with all 3 children and needless to say my clean house is no longer. Here is how yesterday and today have gone so far. Dave left to work at just before 6:00 am and unfortunately could not take JT, who was already up and wanting to play at 5:30, with him. I was left to try and feed Paslei while keeping JT from waking up Addison. Also since JT is a growing boy he thought that he was hungry at that hour which then lead to being thirsty as well. Luckily, help arrived in the form of sleep when JT laid down next to me and fell asleep but to no alas, was woken up at 7:30 by Addison coming into wish all of us a "Good Morning!" I had just made waffles for breakfast when Leslie and Phill showed up, lucky for me the kids wanted to play but they helped to feed them while Payslei ate. When the kids were done with breakfast and Phill and Leslie left I finally sat down to eat around 11:00. Meantime I should tell you was spent trying to keep kids away from a sleeping baby. When I finished with breakfast I got into the shower and put Paslei in her infant carrier inside with me so she would not be killed. While in the shower the real fun happened outside the bathroom door. Addison and JT dumped their shoes all over Addison's striped bed and a toys all over the room, mind you it was clean when they started. They striped the covers off of my bed as well, dumped toys all over JT's room and the Front Room. Did I mention that I love my children? When I got out of the shower the two of them got into the bath and were having a grand old time. I thought that I was safe to feed Payslei again but while doing so I heard Addison yelling at JT, "No, don't put those diapers in the bath!" I couldn't do anything but wait to see the damage done when Payslei had finished. 10-15 diapers had been lost in the soaking up of the bath water. At that point my dear sweet husband called to see how things were going and when I told him he asked if he needed to take more days off work. As for today so far they have pulled JT's mattress off of the bed and striped the sheets. Normally I would put it back on by myself but can't so it will have to wait for their Dad to come home. On the bright side they did pick up most of their toys in the Front Room today and have been MORE than helpful with their new baby sister. I Love My Kids!

Payslei
Payslei was born Thursday, January 18th at 2:47 in the afternoon. She was a whopping 8lbs 5oz and 18" long, the biggest in weight but not in height. Her siblings are so excited that she finally came out and her mom is totally relieved. As you can tell she looks like a Wurtz baby but got her long fingers, carrot shaped if you ask her mom from her. Payslei also has dark brown hair but will probably fall out and turn blond.

I can waddle like you mommy
Addison is so funny lately. One of her favorite things to do is take the tape measure and measure my stomach and then tell me that I am too fat and that I have a huge belly but not to worry because when the baby comes I'll have a flat tummy again. Well this morning while I was on the phone she says, "Mommy look I am waddling just like you. You waddle like a penguin." I think that she has heard her Grandpa and Uncles teasing me and has picked up on it. But hey, not to worry that will also stop according to her when the baby comes. Sometimes kids say the funniest things.
