My First Mother's Day Card (Belated)

Yesterday on the way to school, Clarabelle posted me a question.

" Mummy, why you didnt accompany me to school? "

I quickly strike the metal while it's still hot.

" Yes... mommy will like to fetch you & Abella to school but every morning Clarabelle & Abella dont cooperate with daddy & mommy, so we are late for work and daddy has to drop mommy at the bus-stop instead and fetch you both to school himself."

" But, if both of u cooperate with daddy & mommy then we can leave the house on time and daddy & mommy not late for work then mommy can accompany Clara & Abella to school..."

The girls took awhile to digest my words but seem enlighten and replied : " Ok!"

Hee... actually we are partial to blame cos some time we over-slept too :p

Feeling guilty, I decided to pick up the girls from school that evening. Normally their father will picked them up first as his work place is near to their school, after that then fetch me from work.

Then when I was at their school, I was so delighted to find this belated MOTHER'S DAY CARD in their buggy hole!

Hee... This is their first gift for me... thought most of it must be done by the teacher, probably only the hand prints are theirs... but this is precious : )

Today, I woke up extremely early, thought the girls were still procrastinating initially but we manage to leave the house in time... : )

On the way to school, I had made deal with the girls that no crying and pestering when mommy has to leave for work after seeing them to school. Althought after so long, I suppose they are ok and everytime when I alight at the bus stop, they are so well behave... still I just want to reassure : )

And after making so many promises, the moment they stepped into their school...

immediately the 2 girls...

Wah!!! mommy accompany me... mommy carry me... I want mommy... -_-

The daddy gave me his white eye and said... " you must walk them to the playground... and must take the long route..."

I followed as per his instruction.

Then when in the playground... they were still pestering me to carry them...

white eyes from the man again...

"Dont! Just give them a good-bye hug then go!" then kept nagging at me, move! move! ignore them! move on!

*Irritating fellow*

On the way to my bus... the hubby called... " guess what? I went back to see them & they are playing like nobody!"

I knew that... dont need you to tell me -_-

Today I'm late for work again... caught in a sudden rain too ""_""

Girls' talk

This morning in the car.

Clara : "Abella why just now u didnt want to talk to me??? You dont like me huh?"
Abe softly : " no... because I dont want to go to school... " still looking very sad.
Clara : "Oh... then u like me?"
Abe mummble : " yes... "
Satisfied Clara : " OK! "

What happened was, Abella was not in the mood to go to school today. So when we woke her up for school, she was very reluctant and ignoring us. Not only that, she was no cooperative and purposly taking her time to finish her water then walked very slowly to the kitchen sink to put the cup and slowly out of the kitchen dispite we were all ready to set off, but waiting for her... -_- (the daddy almost explode but luckily didnt :p)

Not looking at Abella's attitute problem, I find this little conversation loving as they actually acknowlege each other feeling :)

Cant remember what the arguement about but the man was smirking away after hearing my reply...
me : " Your laugh irk ME! "
the man still smirking : " Your remark irk ME TOO! "
me : " Disgusting man like YOU deserved disgusting treatment! "
the man continue to irk me : " so are You! Ha! We are so compatible! "

E-r-r-h !!!

me : " Cant you talk nicely to me? "
man : " You dont talk nicely to me either! "
me : " Fine! Then we must as well dont talk! "
man : " Yes! That's the Best !"

E-R-R-H !!!

Berry girls

Seem like it's the berry season in US again. Lately we can get extremely sweet berries from our supermart and this must try brand, Driscoll's long stick strawberry, the berries are SO HUGH and SWEET : o

It's 2x the size of the normal strawberry but the smaller one is also very sweet : )

and my girls love berries very much...

Over the night, Abella was having high fever. Morning, daddy brought Abella to see the doctor and she was diagnosed HFMD. Mc for 5 days! No other choice... daddy and mommy must take turn to apply leave to take care of the two grounded at home girls.

Mommy turn to take care of the two girls. Abella must had developed many ulcers in her mouth. She was so miserable, refused to eat or drink, talk or play. Using only body gesture and hand sign to tell us what she wants. She cried even the softest or smoothest food or liquid were delivered to her mouth. Cried also, in the midst of nothing, the pain in the mouth just triggled suddenly. Mommy knew all the pain she was going thru but it quite funny to see her hand sign and body language... dont know where she acquired it from... kekeke :p

Morning, Mommy woke up with a tingle feeling in the throat and red spots appeared on palms... *shitemateh* is symptom of HFMD. Seen the doctor, confirmed was HFMD!

" is verly likely she will get it also... " The doctor checked on Clarabelle too, though she didnt show any symptom... *shitemateh!*... saw the numerous red dots had actually developed on her tonsil -_-

Three babes in the house had contracted HFMD, the only man left in the house how to not worry... worry he'll be the next victim! Hahaha!
But I was glad he was on leave though...

The man had abandon his 3 babes!

He left the "blind" to take care of the "deaf" ?!!

Worst, he had to be home late that night... luckily Clarabelle had a higher thrashold. Only complain painful in throat when eating but still can finished her food.

She even asked for biscuit... I thought she will rejected it like Abella did, after the first bite but...

"painful or not?" I asked her when she took her first bite.

"No...." she answered, bearing with pain. I thought it was painful but she continued to bite the biscuit slowly till the last crumb... :p

This was an distinguise character between the twins... the latter is more greedy... when come to food she never can resist... kekeke

Weekend is here... but the man was out whole afternoon... luckily Abella was better... I tricked her a few times and she was able to speak out. Tempted her with some goodies (cooling herbal jelly) and she actually finished it all! Kekeke... she was better already but just refused to give up her exclusive treatment during her illness. Kekeke!

Happy Mother's Day!

YEAH!!! Abella was certified ok from HFMD! But after seeing the doctor, the man went missing again... : ( and came home only almost evening... with a bouquet of tulip, bowing at me... of course lar! Tulip is the most perishable flower and loves cold weather... out in the hot sun whole afternoon, of course they withered lar!

I was fuming mainly cos he didnt called back since he needed to adjourn... He knew I was waiting for his campbell soup, as that the only food that will reached my stomach and wont "offending" my throat... yet... I was starved then... and stuffed with furious too :(

Mommy's HFMD symptom did not subsided... Extended another 3 days mc... informed the office... many colleages were horrified concern... esp those that had been closed to me... *hiak hiak hiak*

Luckily the following 2 days will be more resting day for mommy as daddy had applied leave to take care of us... after my nagging... kekeke ;)

The girls did not resumed school as Abella was down with a fever again... :( seen the doctor, fortunately was not HFMD relaspe but given antibiotic this time.

Abella fever was worrying. Had inserted the suppository but fever just dont subside. Sent her to KKH then. Did a thorough test and luckily nothing bad found... main suspect, viral fever again :(

Today the mommies are meeting at the Botanical Garden.

We didnt attend as I am worried we are still "contagious"...

Hm... bringing the girls out for a walk in the garden should not be a bad idea.

I think from now onward, I must bring them out for morning walk more frequent. I think they must had exposed too much aircon environment which contribute to the frequent viral attact...

More outdoor air should be better for them, esp the morning dew... very fresh & rejuvenate.

That it! Set! More morning walk for us and together let all walk into a healthier lifestyle and better health :)
