28 is a good vintage....

The year of 28 has been good to me.  Jeff and I got back together.  Yay.  We got engaged. Double yay.  I graduated with my masters degree from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Duke. Awesome. And today I just passed my certification exam!!! Double awesome!  Before I turn 29 I will have also started a new job as a nurse practitioner and gotten married.  That's a lot of good things in one year.  My life is very blessed. :)

Hello again

I think that I'm going to give up on the blogging thing.  I clearly am not very good at it.  But then I decide to try again.  So here is another attempt at blogging.  Here's an update on the past year:

I had fun with friends.
I traveled.
I got back together with the love of my life after a two and a half year break. (Did not see that one coming).
I got engaged. (Yeah!!!!)
I graduated with my masters degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Duke. (Yeah, again!)

My life has been full of happiness, challenges, friendship, and love.  I look forward to 2013.  It's going to be a good one.

Long time no write...

I know.  It's been a while.  Life gets busy.  And then it gets busier.  Not much has changed.  I'm still working.  I'm still doing school.  I'm still doing the same calling at church.  Life is good!  Once again, I'm renewing my goals to blog more often.  So...we'll see how long this run lasts!

Sister Gibbons

I went to my first ward conference today with my new stake calling.  I kept forgetting to introduce myself as Sister Gibbons.  Whoops.  I've gotta say, it just sounds weird introducing myself that way.  Can't I just introduce myself by my first name?  It feels weird.

Whiney baby

I was reviewing my recent blogs. And I sound like a whiney baby. Sorry y'all. Yes, life is busy, but who's isn't? So no more whiney baby here. Life is too great to be whiney baby!

I did this...

I took a little road trip with some friends to Tennessee/Virginia. And I did this...

We went on an approx. 20 mile bike ride down the Virginia Creeper Trail. Amazing. Absolutely gorgeous and so much fun!

And then I did this...

This is actually harder than it looks... and a good workout! This was at the Carter Family Fold. Whole. Different. World. And I loved it.
