Hey people! Aihui here again~
Tomorrow will be the 2 day 1 night camp for Band. Attire is Band polo. Gather in the hall at 7.30. Those who are here early, put your bags/luggage at the back of the hall, and bring up the speakers......(yeah, you know)...I'll help too! Anyway, today was okay, but I hope that there will be more reponse from the members, such as asking sir tang. Section leaders, you guys will be in charged of preparing the gift for Sir Tang and the other instructors. Wenfong and winnie in charge of Sir Tang's gift, BinBin in charge of the Percussion instructor's and Sharmaine in charge of the ColourGuard instructor's.
Things to bring for the camp:
-PE Shirt
-Exra Set of clothing for sleeping
-Music Scores (Bacchanal and Libertango)
-Technique Books and Manualscript books
-Writing materials
-Formation charts
-Toiletries
-Plastic bags to contain dirty clothings
*Bring your valuables at your own risks. The Band will not be held responsible for any loss.

Tomorrow is the start of the 3 days Masterclass. Section leaders, please ensure that your section attendance is at least 95%. Gather in the hall at 7.25a.m. in the school hall with your formation charts. I know that some of the members are very early, so go up first and practice! Don't waste time! Tomorrow's attire is Band T-shirt, the orange one.
Reminders: Please bring your writing materials and formation charts. During lunch, I want to see you all eat in a section, not like today!

Hello, people! Tomorrow band practice fall in at 7.45am sharp, in your PE attire. It will end at 5pm. Please remember to bring your formation charts and to let your parents sign the consent form for the band camp on the 1 June to 2 June. Bring the $10 too!
Section leaders of these sections: Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium and Tuba. Please be reminded to do and print out the tags for the formation. The font size should be the biggest. And bring tomorrow.

Hello band members !
Tomorrow is the Band Handover Ceremony so I hope you guys will be present (it's compulsory anyway -.-). A few instructions for all of you!
Exco members, report 3PM sharp in auditorium in band uniform with yellow sash! We'll have a dry run. The sec4s will be passing down to us instead of the guests. Please remember your gifts for the exco members!
Band members, report 3.30PM sharp in band polo with PE pants in the auditorium! Please behave yourself tomorrow.
Sec4s (if you happen to pass by), excos meet at 3PM in school uniform in auditorium whereas normal sec4 members can report anytime from 3.30PM - 4PM.

Monday morning band sectionals, please gather in the hall. We start at 7 a.m. and end about 8. Bring along your formation charts. Something you all can do during this weekend is that you can highlight or mark your original position the previous set. So, just do something that helps you to understand better.
Monday afternoon practice, start at 2.45pm, attire band tee. Gather in the hall as well. Logistics please bring up speakers, wires and everything.

Okay, This is Aihui.
Tomorrow sectionals 3.15 to 4.30pm in your PE attire. Logistics team, please set up the speakers at the ISH, Thanks!! And, members, please try to tell your band mates to come for this sectionals as we will be brushing up on our basics. You all should know we have only like two practices before Sir Tang comes to teach. So, please make full use of all the sectionals, bandtionals and practices.
Section leaders, I want you all to make a list of who is taking which position in the formation. Pass me the list tomorrow. And there will be exco meeting with Miss Annie Lee from 4.30 to 5.30pm.

Logistics please set up chairs and everything needed..speakers, wires etc. I understand that some of you will be going to the principal dialogue representing your class. So, please inform Mr Lim and the teacher-in-charge for that day. Members who brought back their instruments to practice, please be reminded that you have to bring back tomorrow. I know it's the exam period and most of you will not check the band blog, so it's okay if you see this later. I have asked the section leaders to ask if you all can make it on 24 May. It is now confirmed that the Handover Ceremony 2011 is on the 24 May, all of you are supposed to gather at 3.30 sharp. We will brief you all when it's closer to the date! Anyway, good luck for your examinations!
