1 more day!

Monday, 25th August. Dad's birthday! I actually forgotten about it until one of my siblings told me and I quickly saved it into my phone's calender.. Me being a useless son? maybe.. That aside, won't be bothered to do the other post on Pangkor. Its all in the head. Thats where it needs to be. Well, check out -Chong's Other Blog' under the links then if you are still curious. Pictures and and a pretty good summary available there thanks to Chong. - http://romanticwalksareboring.blogspot.com/ -

One more day to the by elections results. haih...the amount of mud-slinging one may ask thats going on. Evidently more from the ruling party Barisan National. Damn obvious... not to say that majority of the media is also biased. Quite disappointing one la.. But I do sincerely wish victory for the opposition, PKR. Fingers crossed now. BN's desperation could be as dangerous or treacherous as a cornered wild beast. Actually can't wait for some certain party to publish Annuar's biography in a book. Would be interesting I think.. his rise and fall from power and plotting his comeback quoted a foriegn diplomat - one man versus the system. The wait continues...

20.08.2008- Pangkor Part 1.

Back from Pangkor Island yesterday evening. Pretty fun trip afterall! Enjoyed it more than the previous Genting trip anyway. (no offense meant!) 4 days and 3 nights at Teluk Nipah and yea, we actually just stayed there the whole duration. Well, its not like theres too much to see in the other parts of Pangkor. Besides, that was my 4th trip there. Goina summarize it chronologically-

Day 1. Off to KL to catch a morning bus. I told the fellas (Jin and Chong) that we don't really have to book the bus ticket in advance. Wheres the fun in running around trying to plan the next step. Thats how I live my life. Think on my feet. So we got the 12.30 bus and around 2 hors to spare. Could it be any better? Always wanted to go 'hangkai' in Petaling Street for a long time so I jumped on this idea immediately not to forget my so called 'elixer of life' , 'heaven juice' which is known to most Malaysians as 'air mata kucing' ....legendary stuff man...

Got on the bus, sat next to a french woman and her brother. I understood french so blam*interesting convo there to keep me occupied on the 4 hour bus journey to Lumut. Got to Lumut at aroung 4. Wobble around for a while talking to some malay uncle fishing near the jetty. Exchange info, i sometimes fish there as well at night. (by the way, my hometown is actually in Ayer Tawar..so this was familiar turf) Parent's hometown, correction. Ferry 2 way = 10 bucks. Made a bet with Chong that the ferry journey is actually less than 40 mins as he claimed. And on the stakes were the chance for me to bury him on the beach over the trip. Set the stop watch and by the time we were approaching Pangkor's jetty, i mulling over how deep i actially wanna bury the fella! nailed it!

Taxi to Teluk Nipah, to our hotel/chalet - Pangkor Indah chalet. What i actually missing now is a load of super cun pics... hahahaha, I apologise for the lack of pictures but you (reader/pak gua) should find some at http://romanticwalksareboring.blogspot.com/. Chong's blog. End of day one, we went for Pangkor's famed ikan bakar at some malay stall.... super damn long wait with lousy service. Lesson learned..

You'll know your limit when you get there...

Damn tired. Looks like age kinda caught up with me heh? Woke up this morning and felt exhausted and light-headed. Just got back from kampung yesterday. Deep sea fishing over the weekend as well for 3 days and 2 nights.. Guess when you add that to travelling back from kampung and train-hopping in Pudu, you'll get a tired Wong! lol. First time I felt this tired in ages. Guess Im not superman anyway. But I'm back in Subang anyway now. Smile!

What Your Soul Really Looks Like

You are very passionate and quite temperamental. While you can be moody, you always crave comfort.

You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds.

You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you.

Your near future is calm, relaxing, and pretty much what you want. And it's something you've been anticipating for a while now.

For you, falling in love is all about flirting and feeling playful. You couldn't fall in love with someone who took life too seriously.
