A loada hindsight a.k.a Crap!

Currently feel- 'Stuffed' , just ate 3/4 of a tub of ice-cream. Don't ask me why I got it in the 1st place.. didn't cooked tday-got a kebab instead tried the new place opposite spuds- crap.
Food inventory consisting of 75% of choc based. Dunno where they all came from. choc cookies, choc+toffee candy, choc biscuits , choc ice-cream... need to burn it off soon enough plus no badminton last night as Uncle Ding was in Belfast. Good to see him again anyway.
Maths test tomorrow and I'm NOT prepared for it , then again that my friend , is the beauty of university life. -the constant juggling of social life and work. Not to mention of my presentation next week. -Die..haven't started that one- Then again , overall I honestly feel that comparing this second half of my 2nd term and the first, jijiman wong has been 'domesticated' ? -U ask.

I actually do work (not in sufficient levels yet) , on time to class , alcohol consumption levels decreased considerable along with the desire to use it as well, think twice before going out (I had to limit myself to twice a week then once last sem) and...errr...yea still gotha work on the laziness bit and the 'need of determination' part as well. Summary-we will survive the second term. :)
While revising a bit of mathes tday, my mind drifted back to my so-call 'childhood' Standard 4 to be precise. Back in S.K Seafield 3 in 4 Maju supposingly the 'top' class as we were made to believe by the ruling regime. Where one's goal is to get there and to the top as well. But nooo..I was far from that was 24th in the class at one stage.

Anyway, the form teacher was Pn Aminah, labelling her horrible would be unfair but justified anyway in my case. Was the bottom pile in the class , yea sitting in the very back of the class with some guy called Ronald Khoo whom I'm sure is a retard that time. It was a part of my childhood that I cannot forget- I was slapped but Pn Aminah before, punished as well several times for not completing my homework and the climax- forging my dad's signature when I was required to get it for not finishing my homework. Its abit obvious right? Hillarious if you ask me. Caught anyway and got into
some serious shit for it. Could you imagine the desperation of the act? The very thought of getting my mum to sign it is suicidal -I had no choice. Dad wasn't around for most of the time. An act of desperation anyway. That incident is neither a bookmark nor scar in my childhood. I was punished frequently (not so much la...if I did something wrong) so I thought it was normal which actually isn't.
There was also the memorising of the multiplication tables when I was in standard 3 or 4 I'm not sure. Forced I tell you.... and at that time I ever so dread the 'checking of my schoolbag' at night where I have to account for unfinished homework or just teacher's remarks. Often these sessions ended with me going to bed in tears.

The 'Dark Age' I would refer that period to-in primary school till early secondary school. After UPSR I was given more freedom, now that I am in secondary school but then again I was brain-washed in another aspect , the dimensions of the boy-girl relationships. I was discouraged to mix with them I had almost no female friends in a mixed school besides my classmates. I couldn't go to any outings e.g movies, BBQ , badminton , even a poolside birthday once if any girl is going. It was extremism at it's purest state comparable to the Talibans in Afghanistan I reckon. Thought to put education first and the opposite sex the last thing on my mind till I work. I was completely brain-washed to the extend of denouncing my sis's first bf when she's in form 1 which I think she'll never forgive me for. Lets face it, my mum's a dictator AND extremist. On the other hand this dictatorship left almost no space for rebellious thoughts and me siblings and me basicly did almost everything we were told to do (except my sis who's abit rebellious) That single-mindedness landed all three of us (me, sis and bro) into the KOOP in school under Pn Tan.
This upbringing has its advantages and disadvantages as well. I left home when I was 15 , pretty much independent only from the financial side I needed backing. Sent to a boarding school with a boy-girl ratio of 20-1 doesn't help much either for me to improve my communication with the fairer sex. Shy to girls already in Msia , ang moh (a.k.a sheep..hehehe) gals die la lidat..Should have seen me in 4th year in Gormanston College shy like dunno wad. Only in 6th year did I gained guts and decided to change my 'policies' hence the beginning of the 'Renaissance Age' . Not that easy to learn but trying anyway after all that graves I've dug so far everywhere...

Dig the otha way! quick!!!... :p

Johnny Cash's -Hurt

Brilliant song. Love it! Check out the playlist~

I hurt myself today,
to see if i still feel,
I focus on the pain,
the only thing thats real,

The needle tears a hole,
the old familiar sting,
try to kill it all away,
but I remember everything,

(Chorus)

what have I become,
my sweetest friend,
everyone i know,
goes away in the end,
and you could have it all,
my empire of dirt,
I will let you down,
I will make you hurt,

I wear this crown of thorns,
upon my liars chair,
full of broken thoughts,
I cannot repair,

beneath the stains of time,
the feelings dissapear,
you are someone else,
I am still right here,

What have I become,
my sweetest friend,
everyone I know,
goes away in the end,

and you could have it all,
my empire of dirt,
I will let you down,
I will make you hurt,

if I could start again,
a million miles away,
I will keep myself,
I would find a way,

SquareBob SpongePants.

Ok. Week 4, 2nd term. Damn fast... meet Rob on the way to the DKB, catched up abit on 'old times' ? Haven't been talking to him in a while-one of the first persons I knew when I first came to QUB. He's doing Chem so don't have any same lectures anymore. On time today and whole of last week, parallel to my own promise to be on time to class at 9 every day instead of being late most of the 1st term. So far ok except one tuesday-kena tangkap by Shie Ling summore that time...
Weekend was ok, down to Navan to work, Jason's on his holidays and after some Ming Court in Blanch on sunday, back up again. Tiring...
Might get a job at the Stiff Kitten as they are short of staff at the moment plus so I was told by Aoifa , whom I've just met in Barsub not more than an hour ago after Holland's 'extra' lecture. 2 racist remarks thrown my way today- Andrew saw a bunch of Chinese ppl in suits in the DKB -'Its an invasion..' swt*.... Nawh..they're not that racist just joking althought Northern Ireland is supposed to be quite racist. How true is that?
At 3pm- felt extremely guilty after hitting Emma in self-defense of my pride and dignity.Well my fault if you wanna boil it down- Attempted to draw this gal's neck(Catherine) in front of me in our maths lecture got a smack from Emma and jokingly elbowed Emma but made up for it anyways with an 'official apology' + getting her a drink (water!) :P
Plan to try and make some satay chicken minus the skewers since I've the seasonings... Might do it tonight.
Out and Over!

Update!? outdated leh..?

I'm a bum.
I deserve to burn in a student's hell just for being so. Current on my desk is a list of work I've to do (created over the weekend) but besides my compulsory lab report nothing else seems to be done.
So thursday tomolo...V-day! Arghhh.....! Can't even go out tomorrow night after selling my soul to Queens badminton team. It better be worth my time plus we better make mince meat outha them as well. Or maybe I could go out?....heheh we'll see how it goes.
Pool at Lavery's today. Wanted something different otha than the Union so Lavery's then. Woke up early this morning thanks to Emma texting at 8.10-'jack! Wake up!'.. Hve to thank her tho, considering I missed both Further Mathes last week until the tutorial last fri 'buat bodoh' (memang lost+bodoh) during that tutorial coz I missed 1 week's worth of work.
1 class only tday-not complaining...I swear! Pool for a while in d union avec Emma et Maria then they left to city centre gua pegi dengan Jason, Paul and Alex to Lavery's. Disasterous outing as I'm currently 7-down against Jason. That Jam-Bag!..
Jason wanted KFC after that so I also cannot resist lor...Don't blame me! who can resist KFC? (unless ure a veget-a-rian). Dinner @ Ya Pei Ye Pei's house than later. Still managed to whacked 2 bowls of rice...so 'ehhsai la..'
Patient- Chia Ling ,serial-k.e.p.o,I.C.U.P.
Diagnosed with- Pre V-Day induced Stress/ pre-V virus.
Sydrome- boy-cott of V-day to study instead, emotional outburst when reading this..etc
Note- Early stage of O.S.B disease (Old Single Bachelor disease a.k.a Mother's Headache Virus) which has severely affected victims in urban areas causing desperate usage of the 'match-making vaccine' or substantially increasing the number of advanced stages -(Married Late Syndrome) or even the odd Single4EVA infection.

hahhahahahahhaa! Got nothing to do so I took the piss outha her.lol.Sad isn't it?

2nd Term '08

Its officially the 2nd week of the term by now. 1.20am monday 4th Feb. 1st week abit 'hectic' ? play pool everyday considered hectic? 4 modules this term with a class of only 14 plus 3 stragglers from Chemistry who joined us.
See.. Chem Eng is better than Chem!
Modules include Chemical Process Principals 1 and 2 , Electrical Eng (boring sial.) and Further Mathes (where we mix with otha engineers)
I can tell you 1 thing - Its not getting any easier! Uphill from here. Results for the last test shud be out this week.
1st week of the term sees me engaging heavily in all 3 societies I'm in , Pool(lol) ,badminton and sky-diving. I think it was 2 nights ago...tired like hell just colapsed and sleep soundly ...usually stay up quite late wan.
CNY this week. Malaysians in Guthrie House planning to do a 'Reunion Dinner'. Should be fun. Plus a CNY celebration by the Malaysian Society on sat. Funny the way there is 2 diff. societies- MSSNI (Msian Students Society of Northern Ireland) and some otha weird and rumours go kinda 'radical' Malay Society...swt* -_-''''' The thin line even exists this far away from home. Initially they wanted a Islamic Society but Queens has a policy of barring religious societies given the backwater of Secretarian violence here years ago. Will some people ever learn to live together?
Lousy weather today prevent my 2nd jump but I still got my recap done anyway abiding the '3-month or train again' policy. Step and Joel actually porposely drove me up to Garvagh for the recap man....talk about a dedicated president. Couldn't get any better than that. Night out with them at the Union (SU) tomorrow. Practicals on tues...gulps*
Lousy mondays...lala..la..lallalala... hate mondays. Shit timetable on top of that as well. 9-11, 12-1 and 2-3. Prof Allen 2 lectures in a row sial... pondering over a thought in my head-
'No matter how much you can mix with them(locals) or even if you turn into one of them (happening now!?) you will NEVER be 100% like them. You are still Malaysian deep inside. A sense of belonging? Ahh..duno.Sounds like a loada crap anyway.'
Kena fed by Shie Ling like a older sister over the weekend. They cook on sat ask me eat (but I insisted on cooking as well give face hehehe..) ok nice..then today, baru makan habis dinner walk into my room turn on laptop, Shie Ling call-
'Oiii...cook too much come and help eat la!'
jijiman- 'aiks...!'
Ok...makan. Luk like claypot chicken taste abit also like it. Then go up call again!
-'Jay they all got cook eggs! come and eat...'
jijiman-'k.k.k.k.k...k die lor....'
Eat somemore enjoy the company of fellow msian flatmates and watch Chia Ling take the piss out of Peha ....damn cruel. BUT DAMN FUNNY.-descibing how she would call a gas car/lorry since she's soft-spoken...swt*
