I need HELP!

Some days I wish I had never even started with photoshop. I'm totally addicted and spend hours trying to "enhance" photos only to be completely frustrated b/c they turn out all wonky. I know I need to work on getting better pics to start with so I don't have to mess with them so much--AHH! Well, Krista's cute anyway.

Hurray for eyelashes!

When Anna was first starting out, she would always go on and on about "seeing every eyelash!" I guess it was ingrained in my head early on that that was of utmost importance! That is what we strive for, right girls! Well, I LURVE this picture, and though it's not the first time, I was sooo excited to see that the eyelashes were in focus! Click on these; it's pretty amazing to see all the details the rebel captures.

I HATE CROPPING!

The sprinklers came on while we were playing in our front yard the other day and Krista couldn't resist getting all wet (and I couldn't resist grabbing the camera)! I wanted to get closer, but water was spraying everywhere, so I decided to protect my camera and keep my distance. I LOVE the water coming off her chin! Anyways, I never know which crop is the best. PLEASE help me; which one do you like most?

Bella ("Her name means BEAUTY")

I was going to put "Beautiful Bella" for the title and then remembered that Bella actually means beautiful which would be quite redundant--hehe. These aren't the greatest shots of Bella; she was sick at the time, and I don't think she quite appreciated me placing her in a bunch of strange locations, trying to make her smile. Plus, she squinted every time she looked up into the camera (sound familiar Kare?) But she is so darn cute anyway, eh!?! Is my color too washed out?

Beautiful Kadee Mae!!!

My niece is so GORGEOUS, and I've been dying to take her pic. ever since I got my camera! I finally got the opportunity to the other night while g-ma was babysitting. I don't think her mom knows about it yet- hehe.) Unfortunately, all she wanted to do was play--imagine that--so I only got a couple of shots. What do you think? How's the color?

When will I ever arrive!?!

I am so frustrated with photography right now. I just don't feel like I'm ever going to get better. i want to be so good right now, but I know these things take time. I keep trying to remind myself that the important thing is to document my girls' lives. Anyways, these pics could have been really cute, except that my ISO was way too high. Needless to say, they were very dark and grainy, and in my attempt to fix them, I had to mess with the color a lot. I NEVER know how to get the right skin color--I'm sure I'm way off here as usual. Doesn't she look so peaceful!?! I'm sure just a moment before, she was probably screaming her head off, but it's moments like this that makes it all worth it! I love my beautiful babies!

Whose rag-a-muffin kid is that anyway?

The kids pretty much run wild at Grandma and Grandpa's house which ends up being a pretty nice arrangement. They have a blast and Mom gets a brake for a while! There is so much to do there, and so many ways to make an absolute mess of one's self and surroundings. I'm always amazed at what Krista ends up looking like at the end of the day.

BEAUTIFUL BABY!

Little baby Eden was born on Monday and we went up to see them the next day. She is SOOO sweet and beautiful (she looks like her beautiful Mommy)! All are doing well and we are so happy for them! We love you guys!

Welcome Eden! WE LOVE YOU!!

I don't know that any of these are any good (on my part). I thought it was very annoying of me to even ask if I could take pics in the first place, so I was too afraid to move her. Plus, we all know how fantastic hospital lighting is. But I think you can see how absolutely adorable my new niece is. Luckily, she makes up for my lack of skill.
