Almost HOME!!

One week ago...we stopped at Jim & Donna's (Bob's sister) on the way home. They took us to check out Bobbie's store. This is Donna with her girls. Bobbie (on the left) and Kim.

That long ride done tuckered somebody right out!! We all are rather "tuckered out" and so much to do.....coming home to a mantle full of Santas in mid April is rather depressing, so much cleaning and putting things away, etc., etc., etc. ANYWAY it's great to be home and I can only hope I will be more organized next year. Just before we come home I started a "digital scrapbook" - I figured since I haven't done any scrapbooking since Anna's house, waaaaay back when, (yes I miss my scrappin' buddies) maybe I should make a new plan. I have posted a few of the pages on my scrappin' page. Check them out....AND it's great to be home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eufaula Weekend

We love to visit Eufaula's Pilgrimage. Their old houses are so beautiful and decorated with beautiful antiques. This year we also visited some gardens and a couple of homes on the candlelight tour...LOVED the candlelight tours, hope to do that again next year! It was a misty but warm night and walking up the candlelit sidewalks to the houses felt like a combination of a warm night in Lexington at Christmastime and the anticipation of trick-or-treating. I'm pretty sure Bob didn't experience the same nostalgic feelings, but we both really enjoyed the evening.
