There is a tradition that women may make a proposal of marriage to men only in leap years, further restricted in some cases to only February 29. Another component of this tradition was that if the man rejects the proposal, he should soften the blow by providing a kiss, one pound currency, and a pair of gloves (some later sources say a silk gown).

This was what i learnt from watching the movie leap years today.
Saw the sneak at a ulu movie theatre today w gor after mugging a full day at the lib... =)
There were only 6 ppl in total watching the show..
haha.. so i can juz qiao jiao and everything n no one cares.. =P

anywayz.. abt the movie.. i tink it's sort of like a typical romance movie...
but i guess i like e sequencing of the show...
e way they added quotes in betwn..

n the show is not draggy... althou rather predictable... =P
n ya.. all e gals in e show were mei nvs..
haha... gor kept saying e daughter v pretty over n over again...

so tml all e gals can actually ask guys out...

i tink it's a cute tradition... =)
but sadly i dun tink any SG guys will noe abt this tradition unless they go watch the movie..
n by the time they watch e movie.. it'll be too late to ask alrdy...

i haven been updating properly..
juz been rather random lately..
=P a quick update den...

sunday:
watched kungfu dunk w bert n sh...
e storyline realli was abit too rushed..
so i find tat it's not tat nice a show lo...
den we has ichican boshi for dinner..
which was super filling! n also super nice wor~!
somewhere during e middle of all e eating..
bert pen1 fan4... haha.. cos of something tat sh said n he tot was funnie..
muahaha... tsk tsk.. realli ni image alrdy lo... =P

monday:
muggerish day w gor at wl nlb..
mugged from 10am to 8pm..
good leh... but of cos there were breaks in betwn...
rather productive i would say...
but i guess i'm abit slow w my reading... so i'm still behind time...
it was gd mugging w him cos at e end of e mugging...
he treated me to waffles w icecream!!
haha.. but it was free de also la...
some voucher tat he has tat entitles him to a free waffle w icecream...
so he generously shared it w me... =) n i got to choose e flavour!

den tat guy finally contacted me to ask me for e book he wanted...
so ya.. met him straight after gor left...
he accompanied me home to let me put down all my stuff n take e book for him too...
i wanted to be fierce to him.. to scold him or something...
but i couldn't la.. there r ppl tat i juz cannot be fierce to ba... haha..
so juz toked n smile n smile.. but i guess i wasn't being my usual self...
so he detected it n asked me y... told him e whole lot of stuff...
stupidly i felt e tears in my eyes... told myself not to cry..
but well... this type of frenship things always make me emo...
esp when he's one fren i realli treasure...
so in order for us to tok things out abit longer...
i sent him home from my hse... n den he sent me bac to my hse again... haha.. abit wu liao.. but ya.. we used to do this type of things in e past too...
like too free like tat rite... dunnoe y we din sit down to tok properly...

anywayz... he's realli gd at cheering ppl up...

this peaceful yet sad song reminded me of how great z chen is as a singer...
love his voice!! =)
he once came to sch n had a mini concert at one of e halls...
i rem queueing up for e tix n going for it...
really a fantastic concert... his voice was excellent (cd quality) n he was so ke ai! haha.. =)
how i wish he will start singing again soon~

Free day~

yesterday nite i finally got to noe who my angel is...
haha.. e coordinator of e game was my angel~
it was rather awkward when he handed me e choco..
cos it was so sudden...
i din noe wat to say to him!
haha... he also din noe wat to say.. so.. it was.. super awkward... =P

tonite well...
din bazaar duty from 6 to 12am...
juz to earn pts... haha...
all e pharm ppl in the same slot... desparate for pts alrdy.. =P
din do any work except for e project done tog w yl...
after tat it was hard to conc on my notes...
kept losing focus n wasn't in e mood also..

haha.. e whole nite... she realli v determined to tok...

E wonderful, carefree 4 days worth of nua-ing, stuffing myself w cny goodies n gaining hongbaos tat I was soooo looking forward to passed by in a breeze…
I don’t even noe wat I was doing… n e time juz slipped away…

This yr I guess we did e least visiting…
Cos we din go bac Malaysia…
My aunt went bac Malaysia…

unexpectedly...
i went out w gor at nite..

i tink i was realli v nice lo..

we were so full we went walk walk ard cold storage like aunties...

e mcs were.. how to say.. realli v v bad...
kept saying wrong stuff.. inappropriate stuff...
but they provided q abit of entertainment la.. (thou it's not supposed to be like tat..)
e stage crew also abit screw up la..
esp during song 8...
daddy was so ji dong he said e 4 letter word...

wednesday was a dayful of activities...
mornng i went out w ylp to marina kbox~
afternoon was spent shopping w her...
(nothing bot thou..)
evening was spent toking to johnson...
nite was yep meeting...
late nite was supper w cot...
*really did q alot in a day...*

thurs... most sad thing was i lost my blue 500ml nalgene bottle...
it's alrdy q a old n chui bottle...
e wordings r like fading off alrdy..
but i still feel abit sad losing it...
even thou i alrdy got my new hot pink cyclone bottle to replace...
cos it's my 20th bday present from frens lo...
so there's a significance to it mar...
i dun even noe how it got lost...
i dun tink i rem seeing it after i come out from lab alrdy..
cos if not i would have taken it w me le...
but well.. nvm la.. i cant do anything also rite...

fri was hall play day!!
met up w cot for dinner...
finally ate e steamboat at arts... =)
delicious wor! shared 1 w hc.. cos cant finish it alone...
we eat until so engrossed tat we din realise it was alrdy time for e show...
haha.. so we entered late...
it was a relatively chim show...
cos i realli catch no ball at alot of scenes..
sometimes e scenes were rather comical even thou it wasn't supposed to be so...
muahaha... q bad tat we laugh at them... =P
but cant help it thou.. haha..

today was spring cleaning day at home...
n also stairs climbing day...
cos i signed up for vertical marathon w cch n wj...
60 stories... *faintz*
if i dun start training now...
i tink i will die... haha...
also watched huang jin lu on dvd w jiefu n jiejie...
cos last time we din c e ending...
n jiefu's colleague happened to be tph's sister...
so he borrowed e dvd which tph's father recorded faithfully everynite...
so tat we can watch e finale... haha...

tot i din something bad on fri too...

so i shall reflect on it...
