I made this short clip out of boredom, and also as a test video for Premiere Pro's visual editing capabilities.

Product shots
Just received my light tent, light stands and all my other online orders from Tago Tech, and I must say that the quality of their products is unexpected. Cheap and good! Fantastic. Now on to test the light tent, I shot a TCM product by the name of Chit Li Medicinal Powder, used to alleviate gastrointestinal issues. This is the first product from my friend's family business, which he took over recently to revamp their marketing strategy. It's not out in Singapore, but it won't be long before Chit Li finds its way onto the shelves of Singaporeans, side by side with stuff like Po Chai Pills.

I also took the opportunity to invite Mr Gundam back into the studio, and here are the results:

Anyway, here's a dose of randomness for today. I am sure everyone has their own form of indulgence, and its usually unhealthy. Here's mine: a nice bowl of sweet-spicy red cuttlefish. Yummie.

Food for Thought
Here's something to get you thinking, and of course, to brush the dust off my blog too.
Imagine you are on your way home one evening. You are listening to your music, taking a nice stroll down the pavement, when suddenly without warning, you feel 2 light taps on your right shoulder. You turn to your right and realize its not someone familiar standing there, instead its a scrawny looking teen boy with a slightly deformed lip that had the part of his upper lip closest to his nose seemingly indented. He is clad in a black and white striped T-shirt which is too small for him, and black shorts which make his long and boney legs appear bonier.
Then, in Mandarin, he asks you, "Can I have $3.70? I'm feeling hungry."
His plead is accompanied by a look of forlorn in his eyes, which adds a subtle emphasis of urgency and dire need.
Would you:
(a) Ignore him, tell him to go away, find someone else or that you did not have $3.70
(b) Give him the money
(c) Bring him for a simple meal
Because I was not mentally prepared for this, my instinct of self-preservation got the better of me, and I immediately answered like choice (a). Choice (b) was something that would hardly cross my mind, because of certain influences. As it would not be too inconvenient for me nor something too unreasonable to ask for, I should have answered like choice (c). Now I know what I should do in the future. Be a man. Be a human. Help another human in need. Even animals do that.
