In my delirium of taking care of a baby and toddler, I accidentally deleted my friend folder in my Google Reader!  Doh!

If you still have me in your Reader then I have a chance to ask you to comment on this post so I can again add your blog (if you have a blog) back into my Reader.

By the way, I have a ton of posts in my private blog about my new baby!  Blogging has been slow for me over the past week, but wokeupfamily.blogspot.com is pretty up to date otherwise.

Best Toddler Gifts?

What would you say is the best gift for a toddler when still living in an apartment?  Because we're still in a smaller space I've kept the amount of toys quite limited.  I want to get something fun for juju's bday this month, but am looking for specifics.  Details on the best riding toy for this age, kitchen, doll house, etc.  I guess my problem is that I want to get all the fun stuff for her but ultimately will only get one larger item or a couple smaller items so we don't end up turning the entire apt into a nursery!

New Computer

My old computer had some technical difficulties so I've had a couple months now with little or no computer time.  I have to say that it was really great not to have that distraction, but on the other hand I hated feeling so disconnected and behind on my family blogging.  Well, I have a new computer and am about all set up just in time for the holidays.

Pinks Pizza

A slice of humanity.  Finally, a little bit if rain and a really good pizza joint close by in Houston.  (yes, we like rain)
As we walked in old school Dinosaur Jr was playing in their speakers.  Matt and I couldn't have been any more at home.

Just Our Luck

Some days you get really lucky and find needle nose pliers stuck in the tire of your new car.   Two days later, our old car, "the civ", won't start.  Again.  Gotta love car drama.
