We were so excited that we could go to Nebraska this summer!! It had been a while since we had been back and we picked the perfect time to go, Nebraskaland Days which is a huge celebration in North Platte. We were able to visit the Golden Spike Tower and the kids loved seeing all of the trains, played at the park and had a picnic, then Fort Cody and rode the rides at Cody Park, went swimming and had so much fun being with Kim and Laurie. We ended our trip with a night at the rodeo. We also had plenty of time to relax, play in the warm sun and spend time with family.
On the way home we decided to take the long way home through Denver and stay 2 nights. We went to Casa bonita for dinner which was a blast with divers and all sorts of shows. The next day we spent the day at the aquarium, we got to see all sorts of animals, even mermaids and touch sting rays. The next day on our way out we met Wayne's friend at the Heritage park and spent a few hours there. It was the cutest little park and it was perfect for Tanna and Koda. It was a great week to be together with Wayne's family and really fun to spend time together in Denver with our little family.
