24th of July fun

This year the 24th seemed like it was celebrated all week long. One night we went to the carnival, which was not one of our better choices. It was crazy there!
On Saturday we went to the parade and then had a party with my family at the Wilkinson pool and then at our house eating pizza and doing fireworks. My brother from Arizona came in for his high school reunion and celebrated the holiday with us. Tanna and Koda had a blast playing with cousins and fireworks!

Swimming Lessons

This was a break through year for us as far as swimming lessons go! It was like something just clicked in their heads and suddenly my kids are brave and love to swim. They were so excited for each day to come and so sad when it had to end. Their poor little teacher had to almost kick them out of the pool for the next class.
