You did what?

So the other night Wayne and I were downstairs and all of a sudden we hear Tanna screeming. Wayne runs upstairs to find she has a really bad bloody nose. Then she screams they are stuck and I can't breath. Wayne asked what was stuck and she said popcorn nuts (kernels) Wayne yells for me to come help and Tanna is still freaking out. We get her to calm down and take a look. We can see a popcorn kernel way in the back so we decide to plug her nose and mouth and try to get her to blow it out. After trying about 30 times this thing still didn't move; we decided to call our pediatrician. They told us if we can make it in 15 minutes they would still be open. We loaded her up and headed over. On the way she is talking to me and explains that she put 2 of them up there, but thinks one of them went down her throat. I asked her why she did this and said, "Sam and Carly (on ICarly) were putting popcorn nuts up their nose and blowing them out to hit people." I was immediately upset.... she learned this on a TV show? Why would anyone in their right mind put this idea on a TV show that millions of kids watch. Anyway, we get to the doctor and he takes her back in with this little white stick with a loop on the end. It took 3 of us to hold her down and he got it out. While she is sitting up and screaming another one pops out. He looked to make sure there were no more up there and I took her home. It was definately a lesson for her to never stick anything up your nose again.

First day of School 2009

Tanna and Koda started preschool at Raspberry sawhorse this week. They are so excited to finally get back into school and into a routine again. Miss Jackie is their teacher and she is amazing. She keeps them busy with computer time, puppet shows, and all sorts of learning activities. Koda said she has the most toys he has ever seen.
