Disneyland

For the first time in Tanna and Koda's life we were able to go to Disneyland.... They had been counting down the days. We got there on Wednesday around 2:00pm and headed straight for the park. We spent the entire day at Disneyland. The first ride we went on was Pirates of the Carribean and that broke the kids in really quick. Some of their favorites were madahorn, thunder express, buzz lightyear and many more. Unfortunately the log ride was not a favorite because we were drenched when the ride was over. Koda is not a fan of being wet.






The next day (Thurs) we went to Disneyland in the morning and California Adventure in the afternoon. We loved all of the fun stuff over there, Bugs life was a huge hit with us especially since the kids could do most of the rides themselves. That night we ate at Ariel's Grotto and ate dinner with the princesses. Tanna loved every minute and of course she dressed up right along with the princesses. Koda dressed up like a pirate just so he could dress up.













On Friday we had breakfast at Goofy's kitchen and ate with some of the character there. We saw goofy, pluto, chip and dale. We even got to dance with Goofy and friends. For the rest of the day we went to California Adventure and then back to Disneyland at night. We even ran into one of my volleyball friends and their family. It was so fun to see them and catch up.







On Saturday we all slept in and then went to the beach. It was freezing, but the kids loved it. Tanna fell in the ocean fully clothed, that was not fun for her , but she recovered quickly and played in the water. Later that day we swam at the pool and had dinner in our Hotel.






Sunday we headed home.
It was a great couple of days and hopefully really memorable for the twins. The weather was really perfect, it never got above 70 degrees.

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter! On Saturday we did an egg hunt with our neighborhood. It was fun to see everyone and have donuts and hot chocolate. On Sunday we went to church and the kids learned all about Christ and what he did for us. They both had to tell us the story about Christ as soon as we got home. I am so amazed at how much they listened and took it all in.
Later that day we had an Easter Egg Hunt with the family. Everyone had a great time, the older kids had a scavenger hunt and I think we really stumped them this year. After the hunt was over we had our bunny store and the kids could buy prizes with their money they found in their eggs. Grandma had all sorts of stuff to chose from. Silly Strings and Kites were a huge hit this year. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Peterson.

Coloring Eggs

We begged Grandma Peterson to let us come and color eggs with her. Grandpa brought home some really small easter eggs for us and we had a blast coloring them. The stickers were suppose to go on the eggs, but ended up all over Tanna & Koda

Kangaroo Zoo

Grandma & Grandpa Marshall came in for the weekend for a short trip. We were able to fit some fun things in, in a short amount of time. They took the 3 older grandkids to Kangaroo Zoo and we had a blast.

Gymnastic Performace

Koda's gymnastics finally came to an end and this time the teacher decided to do a performance. She had a course set up around the room and let the kids show their parents how they could do each thing. Then they did a little dance and showed off their favorite gymnastics trick. Koda had a great time, he was a little nervous at first, but did great. He had so much support. We had both sets of Grandparents there and some aunts, uncles & cousins. Thanks for coming everybody.
