Tanna & Koda's 4th Birthday

Happy Birthday to Tanna & Koda today who both turned the big "4".

We had a great day! We went to dad's work and kidnapped him for the special day. We went to lunch and then went to Toys 'r' us and the kids got to pick out one gift for themselves and then they got brand new bikes. They absolutely love them! Later we went to Kangaroo Zoo and played for a couple of hours. 

We were all exhausted after that and then went to dinner at Tepanyaki Grill. The kids had a great time watching their meal made for them. The best part was the flaming volcano. After dinner we headed home to put bikes together and ride around with some neighborhood friends. Thanks to all friends & family who called to wish Tanna & Koda Happy Birthday!

Enormous 8 Birthday Party

In the month of July the Peterson family has 8 birthdays in a 2 week span. Well since Grandma & Grandpa Peterson were gone on a cruise for some of the birthdays we decided to just combine all of the birthdays into one big party. We rented Debbie Wilkinson's pool for 2 hours, we swam, ate cake and had tons of fun. Congrats to Wayne for winning the Cannonball competition and Uncle Blair and Uncle Chris coming in a close second. Jeff & Kevin need to both put on a little more weight if they want to contend next year and Jeff you may want to work on your form, maybe try the one leg tuck next time.

Tanna and Koda had a great time and got everything they wanted.  Thanks to everyone who came and made all of the birthdays a memorable one this year.

24th of July

Woke up and the kids and I went to the Spanish Fork Parade. We had tons of fun seeing all of the floats and chasing them down especially when they had candy. Tanna had a great time because she was able to get her picture taken with some of her favorite princesses.

Later in the day we went shopping and then had lunch. Later that night we barbecued and then headed to Jeff & Tricia's house to light fireworks. The kids are exhausted but had a great day!

My Hero!

The other night I was putting the kids to bed. We were doing our usual routine which includes: 2 hugs & 2 kisses for each of the kids and then I have to tuck them in and then shake them while they are laying down. As I was saying goodnight Tanna said to me," Mom you are my hero." and then Koda looked at me and said "yep mom your my hero too." It was so cute it nearly brought me to tears. I didn't even know they knew that word. What would my life be like without them. 

Happy 4th of July

We had a great 4th of July! We went to lunch at Brick Oven and then had a barbecue for dinner. Later Mom & Dad with Adi & Ruby came over. Jeff and his boys also came over and we had rootbeer floats and lit fireworks. The kids had a great time just playing outside while the adults talked and ate cookies and watermelon.
