Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas! We woke up around 8:00 and had to wake the kids up. Once they realized Santa had come they were ready to go. We looked and played at what Santa had brought us and then opened gifts from each other. We went to lunch at Blair & Melissa's house and then came home for the rest of the day. We had some family come over and had dinner. It was a really great day.

Christmas Eve

We had a great dinner with Wayne's family and my parents. We had chicken, potatoes, crab legs, salads and desert. Tanna & Koda are so excited about Santa coming. We sprinkled oatmeal on the lawn for the reindeers and make cookies for Santa. We wrote letters for Santa this year and put them with the cookies. We also put on our new Christmas pajamas and went to bed.

Peterson Christmas Party

We had our Peterson Christmas party. We had dinner and played a white elephant game. We even had an appearance from Santa Claus. The kids are still a little bit of afraid of him. Koda sat on his lap, but Tanna stayed her normal 20 feet away.

Tanna staying as far away as possible.

Koda is still a little nervous

Tanna's First Dance Recital

Tanna's dance class had a little Christmas dance recital. They performed 3 numbers. She did great! Wayne was able to come with us and couldn't believe how much she's learned in the last 3 months.

Thanksgiving

We ended up going to Marj & Jim's house this year.  We had to make a last minute cancellation to Nebraska and thanks to them we were able to come at the last minute. We ate dinner and played lots of games and had a great time. Thanks Brown family for letting us crash your Thanksgiving!
There are so many things we're thankful for this year. Family, Friends, and the Gospel we couldn't imagine our lives without them.

Gymnastics

Koda had his last day of gymnastics and can't wait for the next session to start! He wanted to show off a little bit so we took tons of pictures. It was so fun to see how much he's learned in the past couple of months and how willing he was to do things all by himself.

Disney On Ice

We took the kids to Disney on Ice and made an entire day of it. We headed to Salt Lake early and shopped at the Gateway. Then we went to dinner and headed to the show. The kids had so much fun! We had great seats and a perfect view of the stage.

Tanna's favorite part was all of the princesses with their princes

Nemo was a huge hit

Koda's favorite part was Toy Story

and we all loved the incredibles.

Snow Day

We woke up the other day with a little bit of snow on the ground. With a lot of pleading & convincing I finally gave in and let the kids go out and play.  There wasn't much to play in, but that didn't matter to them they had a blast!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

As Koda would say, "this is the best Halloween ever!" We had a great day! We woke up and instantly had to get into our costumes. We did our hair, makeup (tanna & mom) and got everything ready to go out for the day. We tricked or treated CR Doors which is where Kevin, Jim, & Matt work. Then we headed to Jeff's work and luckily he was able to scramble up some candy. Then we went to lunch and even got a discount because we had our costumes on. Then we went to Wayne's work and trick or treated the entire office. The kids had a blast. By the time we got home they were totally exhausted. Later in day we had our ward Trunk or Treat and it was a huge success! So many people were there and it was really fun to be able to catch up with neighbors in such a short amount of time. Later we went to Jeff's house and then to Grandma & Grandpa's house. By this time all costumes were off and were completely exhausted but according to Koda it was the best Halloween ever!
