I had so much fun making a Joy Fold card for Sweet N Sassy's digi challenge tonight that I had to make another one. This time I tried my hand at a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 in. one like Beate had on her video from the tutorial page.
I have simply adored the Bella Rose paper from Stampin Up when it first debuted, and I have hoarded some back for a special project that I hadn't finished, so I dug it out tonight along with my Wild Rose stamp set and some other goodies to create this little labor of love. :)
Hope you all find some time to get Stampin ... and why not try a different fold for a change?! I may challenge myself to do this more often. :)
P.S. - Don't forget the post below for some stampin' goodies - http://wishiniwasstampin.blogspot.com/2012/03/good-news-and-stampin-goodies-to-share.html You ONLY have until Tuesday afternoon for a chance to win!

Rhubarb Joy Fold
This sweet Rhubarb teddy bear image is a digi from Sweet N Sassy stamps, which I colored with Copics and popped up on some 3M foam tape for a boy's birthday card. Does everyone have a tough time NOT prettying these up? Ohh, how I want to add glittery accents, fluffy lace and pretty flowers ... but I didn't because this is for a little boy (Kelly, not a girl - had to keep reminding myself that). :)
The DP is from BasicGrey's Lime Rickey, which I typically reach for whenever I am creating a boy's card or just want bright, cheerful colors. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the new set - Elementary Elegance - from Stampin Up, and the cs is all Stampin Up as well - Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Bordering Blue. The "To You from Me" tag is repurposed from a package I had received from my SU demonstrator, and I can't recall what set that is from (sorry).
So, stop on over at Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge blog to join in the fun this week (SNSDC47). The challenge is to create a joy fold card. I had made joy fold cards before in workshops, but I don't recall making one of these on my own. Boy, they are fun!! If you haven't tried one before, check out the tutorial HERE!
Thanks for stopping by! Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Happy Stampin and Scrappin to you all!
P.S. - Also, don't miss the blog candy below on the last post (ends April 3rd).

This photo shows a few of the items I used to create this card. Note: The Bakery twine can also be purchased at Sweet N Sassy stamps site. The photo below is a closeup shot of the same.
