Make A Wish KD kit - Lovin' It!

Hellooooo, Crafters and Friends! :)

I took a little time off this summer to enjoy some family time, but I am hoping to get back to a few cards a week at least now that the fall weather is upon us.

I needed a quick card today for a BRAK (birthday random act of kindness) mailing, and so I grabbed a couple of printed digis and digi papers from Imagine That ... digis by KrisMake-A-Wish KD Kit.  This kit is superb for a quick celebratory card of any kind.  I am sure you will find you can create a lot of things with it as well.

Life with Porpoise

It's a new month already, and Imagine That's blog has a great new Dolphin image for the Monthly Progressive Challenge. If you played along last month, you should have already received this one in your email.  If not, you can swing on by the shop to purchase it to continue playing along with us all at IT by clicking on the link above.

My card is fairly simple, yet sweet with this adorable, pre-colored image from Kris.  It truly made for a quick card using a Cuttlebug dry embossing folder, Spellbinder's Labels One dies, some scrap paper, a whale charm from America and some ribbon.  Hope you like it and get a chance to play along with us too.

Wishin You a Meowy Little Mouse-mas

I have been making Christmas cards lately to "keep cool." ;)  Seriously, I figured why not get a couple more done today (this post now and the other one will post tomorrow).  This one is using the digital image from Imagine That Digis by Kris called "Meowy Mousemas."  It is the July Stamp of the Month Challenge from the Imagine That blog.  Join us this month and get next month's image for free.  Don't have this image already?!  Check out the blog (click on the previous link) to find out how you can get this one at a discount.

The image was printed on Neenah white cs after re-sizing with Photoshop Elements 6,
cut out with Spellbinders Labels One dies, Christmas DP from both BasicGrey Eskimo Kisses, other scraps and a tablet I received from my good friend, Chris Sather, years ago (yep I still have it and use it sparingly).

I copied the same sketch idea on the inside with the Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses piece, blue striped paper, Labels One dies and two of the sentiments from this set.

We had a wonderful weekend with family and friends, and this card just flowed.  My hands weren't very steady though, and the coloring isn't perfect, but ... it sure was fun to make it.

Bananas over my Babe - Happy Father's Day!

Although Kris has a lot of great images at Imagine That Digi Stamp Store for Fathers like Cowboy BootsAirplanes or Farmer John.  With Father's Day coming up, I have been wanting to use this great sundae and fruit set called - Parfait Delights with Tooty Fruit digi papers to match.  Well, I'm not sure about your hubby, but mine sure has a sweet tooth and loves bananas.  We go through a bunch or two of bananas every week.  So ... this definitely fits his personality, and I am sure he will love it.

**Imagine That is Having a Birthday Blog Hop!!**

Imagine That! Digis by Kris is celebrating

it's 1st Birthday with a Blog Hop, and Kris has
invited me to play along!!  :)

There are lots of prizes to win. If you comment on all the DT's blogs, you will have 12 chances of winning a digi set of your choice at the store. PLUS, if you grab the highlighted letter on each DT blog and email the phrase to Kris at imaginethat (dot) digisbykris@yahoo (dot) com by March 17th, you will be entered to win the whole March Release!! You can see all the fabulous March sets HERE.

If you didn't start at our challenge blog, you will want to start HERE

Welcome to my stop on the Birthday Hop! Kris has created 6 new Birthday themed Critter Sets, plus 2 "KD-Kits" which not only have colored images but also digi papers, journal cards, photo frames, brads, etc - a great value, so be sure to check those out in the store!

I've created a few cards using the "Birthday Bear and Birthday Bash KD kit" digi set.

The first one was kept simple for a 9-year-old boy's birthday.  I just love this little bear,
and I used some Cuttlebug folders (Numbers and Happy Birthday) to emboss the
blue layers a bit to fit the occasion.  The birthday candles can be untied and used
on his birthday cake/cupcake too.

On the inside, I used the sweet circle sentiment, colored slightly with Copics
and just a basic layer with the Labels One SB's die and a great go-to Happy Birthday stamp
that I have had for years from SugarLoaf, Inc (c) 2002.

This is so pretty in pink ... I used the Birthday Bear again (but this time in pink), cut it out with my large scalloped circles SB die, placed it on a paper doily, added another layer of Pretty in Pink
Stampin Up cardstock on top of some BasicGrey pink paper I had left over from a paper pack.  The circle sentiment this time was colored slightly with my Copics and layered on the front
(popped up a bit for dimension).

This sweet puppy dog would be sure to cheer anyone up on their birthday, even an old girl like me ;)  The image was cut out with SB circles dies, popped up on a scalloped circle made with BasicGrey red paper with polka dots from the JuneBug collection that I felt matched her bow perfectly, and then I added a few more presents and confetti from this same digi set to seal the Happy Birthday deal :)

Your next stop on this birthday hop to visit is Helen's blog!
You will love her creations.
Be sure to stop by and give her a "little love."

Have a great time!! :)
