Milestones
Caleb has been rolling over since my last post on the 11th. So about 20 days now he has mastered the milestone of rolling over. Last night he rolled over when I put him down in the crib for the night and he stayed on his belly until this morning. Never waking up crying or anything! So he is officially a stomach sleeper now. He is also not really wanting his paci anymore for sleep. I know everyone says don't compare your kids, but I do. I am not upset, but I do realize that Caleb is a little behind where Ethan was at this age. It may also be due to the fact that he was born almost 3 weeks early. The doctor said at his 6 month check up, that Caleb does get a month "grace period" if he does things later compared to his peers. I guess he doesn't need the grace period in the growth charts though, because he is a beast! It's hard to believe he was 1 day off from being a technical "premie". I will never forget that he was so big in the NICU when he was first born! His "roommate" was a girl who weighed about 3 pounds. Unreal. Anyhow, my posting is so few and far between now, I have been debating a long time about giving up the blog. Unless I get a big kick in the blogging hiney, I will probably be giving it up by the holidays. I use Facebook so much for pictures and keeping up with people that I hardly think of using my blog anymore. (Sorry!) I guess now I need to figure out how to print off all 4 years of my blog because this is pretty much my kids' baby book!

6 months old
I can not believe Caleb is 6 months old! He turned 6 months old on the 4th of August. He actually just rolled over for the first time tonight! We weren't even in the same room. I walked by to check on him while he was laying underneath his play mat and he had rolled over trying to touch daddy's books on the bookshelves. Caleb weighs 20.1 pounds and is 28 inches long. He is in the 90% for height and weight. His head is a bit smaller, I don't remember the exact measurement but I know he was 75% for his head size. Caleb is the happiest baby ever. He smiles all the time and is so content and laid back. He LOVES his brother, Ethan. We love our little booger and just can't believe how fast time is flying by. We are actually going to have to move him up to the next car seat because he is so big! He loves standing on our laps and is so proud of himself when he does. He laughs and looks all around. He loves watching other kids play, especially boys. He adores Ethan and follows him around the room with his eyes. He doesn't have any teeth yet, but sure does love chewing and sucking on his hands. He wakes up so happy unless he is startled by his loud big brother coming in to wake him up. We love our boys and feel so blessed!

Life Happens
I never finished posting at Camp Willow Run for the remainder of the week. That is because... life happens. My little man, Ethan got a stomach bug and threw up in the dining hall one night at dinner. Then later in the night he threw up again in his bed. So the next day I was doing laundry. Then I received a call that my dad was in the hospital because he had a mini stroke. He was there 2 days and is now home and doing better. Saturday was our anniversary, so we went out last night to the Melting Pot to celebrate. It is our tradition to go each year for our anniversary! We have been so busy and our lives are about to get busier. Matt is going back for his last semester getting his Masters. He graduates in December. I am so proud of him. Softball is about to start back up for him and we are planning to go to Brazil in October with our church for 10 days. Not to mention a few birthdays, a church conference, and a women's retreat! Before I know it we will be ringing in the new year! Caleb turns 6 months old today and I can hardly believe it. Life just keeps happening and I feel like time is flying so fast! But I love it. I wouldn't trade anything right now for where we are as a family and what we are doing. God has blessed us so much and I am just happy. I will blog when I can, but when life keeps going by so quickly, I don't have time to write it down!
