Updates about Ryan

Yeah as usual mummy is too lazy to update ryan's blog...it's been since one month mummy come here to blog. Okie here are the updates...

28.08.08 --- Ryan went to Jurong Bird Park with cousin Bryan

10.09.08 --- Ryan is 2 months old

13.09.08 --- Ryan 1st Mid Autum Festival Celebrations with family

20.09.08 --- Shopping at Takashimaya with Daddy & Mummy

Ryan had been making "gu gu" sound and is always laughing so heartily when he is happy...mummy loves to see his laughter. Ryan also enjoy bathing especially when he is at Po Po house, Po Po will apply the Ru Yi Oil for him...he is always so excited and laughs so happily. Wondering what is Ryan's weight now...he is already 2months 12 days old today and his milk consumption now is 120ml (4 Oz). Good progress Ryan! Keep it up! :)

Today Grandpa and Grandma bought Ryan a playpen for him to sleep when he stay overnight at Grandma house. Because Baby Cousin Winnie needs to sleep in the baby cot and she is born on 19 Sept 2008! So Ryan is now a Kor kor...

Ryan went for his Hep B jab yesterday! A brave boy i must say...though we pacify him with his milk milk after the jab which totally shut him up...keke... After one month, Ryan has put on 1.03KG! A good work by his mummy..hehe Breastmilk + Enfalac A+ =Ryan's weight increased! =) Ryan is also smiling very often to Mummy and Po Po... he can lift up his head slightly and look at mummy's face when i carry him upright! I am so happy to see Ryan growing day by day and having different facial expressions each day!

Baby Ryan is One Month Old

On 08.08.08 (Friday) it was Ryan's One Month Old Celebration! Finally I have finished my confinement, No more confinement food with lots of ginger and vinegar and No more bathing with herbs! Lao gong and I ordered baby's full month cake from "The sweetest moment". The packaging and overall presentaion of the box was excellent! So we took baby to my mother's best friend house and some relatives to distribute the full month cakes.

Ryan's po po also bought him a mickey mouse pendant...and he wore ma ma's new body suit and off we went out in Papa's car to visit friends and relatives...

A New Life A new Journey

As usual being the lazy ME...I took a long time to update this blog specially set up for my baby.

10th July 2008 - A special day and also a painful day which is recorded in my memory forever. The arrival of my little baby Ryan!

I remembered I was still playing my DS Lite till 12midnight and my hubby as usual still engrossed in trading his forex when suddenly I felt pain in my tummy. Thinking it was nothing unusual and probably it was just the usual stomachache I ignored the pain. However the pain gets stronger and stronger and it was 2am in the morning I was still not able to fall asleep into my dream! When I visited the toilet, I noticed blood oozing out and that's when I realised the so called pain was contraction and probably I was due for labour. Contraction was coming on and off and the pain was unbearable... and off we rushed to the hospital...It was 4am in the morning and coincidentally my hubby met my gynae and asked him to check on him in the delivery ward. I got a shock when I saw my gynae and joking said to him.."Wow doc you are so efficient i just reached the hospital 5mins and you so fast reached!" Haha...and he replied he jus delivered another baby for the mother and so happened he was in the hospital....so my gynae burst the waterbag for me and checked that I had dilated 3cm! And the next thing he said "Don't worry probably you can deliver by afternoon" and this means I had to suffer contraction pain for another 8hours! The midwife asked me whether I need any painkiller and immediately I had asked for Epidural...This was good! It numbs your lower part of the body and you could hardly feel the pain! However by noon time, when my gynae checked on me, I was still 3cm dilation...7cm again from "Pushing"! Well this time my gynae gave me some medicine to speed up the dilation process...By 8pm+ at night finally dilation reached 10cm! All ready for pushing... Wow pushing is damn tiring...pushed and pushed for 2 hours baby still not out yet....last resort my gynae had to use vacuum to suck the baby out...Finally after lying in the delivery suite for 16hours my baby is out! All the pain and waiting is worth it!

First Time...

Welcome everyone! This is my 1st blog website I have started to update everyone about me and my family!
Time passes really fast...another 4 weeks we will be having a new family member in our new house. Yeah we have sold our apartment in Simei and set up a new love nest in a more central location where there's always jam and jam and more jam at all times!

Okie that's all for the moment. Hopefully I am not so lazy and will continue to write in this blog for long....
