Baseball/Soccer

We have been busy starting up the baseball and soccer season~here are a few pics from the first week!

 

Meet the Teacher and First Day of Preschool

Leah had meet the teacher on Friday morning for her four year old class.  She has Ms. Melissa this year and was so excited to meet her!  She know a lot of girls in the class from vacation bible school this year and a couple girls from her previous class/the neighborhood~a really sweet group of kids.

The first day of school was this past Monday and as we were waiting in the hall for drop off, she wanted to make sure I was leaving, she wanted to stay alone :) I love how independent she is already and wants to do everything herself.  I know she will have a great school year!

The BIG SIX

Will turned six years old on August 22nd, really hard to believe! He had a star wars theme birthday party at the park and invited his class.  He had a great turn out and a lot of fun with the star wars scavenger hunt, pinata, and present game.  We made lightsabers for one of the favors and the kids had a great time running around using them.

The sleepover that didn't happen :)

Leah and Will wanted a sleepover together.  We started with a movie and popcorn, and chose a Friday night that Will had school, and Leah had a playdate all morning~thinking they would be tired!

After several hours together, chatting, laughing and no sleep, they were both asking for their own rooms back!
