School Time!

FIVE!

I cannot believe my "little" boy is five!  It seems like just yesterday I kept getting put on bedrest to prevent an early delivery with him! 
Will is such a sweet and sensitive boy with such a kind heart!  He loves his sister and loves to build and put anything together~he has his daddy's engineer mind:)  He is really starting to get into legos and loves to see his finished product when it is done.
Will did great in preschool last year and began the fours program yesterday.  Since his birthday is so close to the cut off, we are waiting a year to send him to kindergarten.  He had a really good day, likes his teachers, was laughing when I picked him up, and can't wait to go back tomorrow! He is most excited for science and planting in school this year.
I just want to enjoy the next 11 months of still having him home two days a week before he starts kindergarten!

Will had a great birthday party at Pump It Up.  The kids had so much fun running, jumping, sliding, and doing the pirate adventure and looking for treasure!

 

Sports

Will and Leah began Fall sports this past weekend~Will is playing tball, Leah is playing soccer.  Leah had an early morning soccer game at 8:00. She LOVED it to say the least! She was one of the few players that wanted to stay on the field and play the game part and ended up playing the whole time:)
We came home for a quick break and then headed back for Will's tball practice/game.  Will had a lot of fun and LOVED that daddy is one of the coaches for his team. He did really well catching the ball and hit it far off the tee.  By 11:30 they were both tired and hot from the sun and enjoyed the slushie treat after the games!

Beach Trip

I CANNOT believe it is August!  I have been slacking on the blog lately and never remember to bring my camera.  We had a nice July with lots of trips to the pool, local playgrounds, the new museum downtown, and playdates with friends.  We ended the month with a trip to Cocoa Beach, one of our favorite places in Florida to visit. We rented a condo right on the beach and had wonderful family time away.  Gearing up for August with Will's birthday and his pirate party, start of soccer and tball, company coming, and both the kids beginning preschool at the end of the month. I promise to take more pictures in the coming weeks:)
