No Training Wheels!

Will decided he wanted to try his bike without training wheels. He did really well, but it was a little hard for him because the bike is a little high.  So, for now we will leave them on and try again when he gets a little taller:) I loved his proud face in the pictures and had to share!

Day Trip to the Beach

We decided to take a day trip to the beach for Father's Day.  We packed up the car the night before, got up and were on the road by 7!  The kids LOVED it! Last year, Leah wasn't crazy about the sand, but this year she couldnt get enough of it!  Will was getting very brave walking out into the ocean with the waves.  It was a great day!  It made us really look forward to our longer beach trip next month:)

Pool Time!

We have been to the pool a few times this year and the kids are loving it! I can tell we will be spending a lot of time there this summer:)

T-Ball

Will started t-ball this week.  It is a four week program through Raleigh Parks and Rec.  We thought we would try it out before he is on a t-ball team this Fall.  He loved it!  Preschool has helped immensely with his shyness and when we got there, he went right out on the field and joined in! They did such simple things with the kids, yet so essential for learning to play! Things such as running the bases, showing them how to step and throw, and other little techniques:)

Dance Recital

Leah was in the twos class at Carolina Dance Center this year. She LOVED it and can't wait to take another class next year!  For the twos class they dont have an official recital, but have a dance for the parents at the end. They showed us everything they had been working on this year. It was really cute!
