Dancing Feet

Leah is really enjoying her dance class. She loves her friend Aine who is in the class with her! I am so glad she has such a good friend in class~it is a plus that she lives in our neighborhood too!:)

Lunch date together after!

Our BIG snow!

We got our BIG snow of the year, about a half of an inch!:)  This is the only snow we have had so far. Will went out for a few minutes in his pajamas to check it out.  It was gone by lunchtime and almost 70 degrees two days later~love the South!

Family

It was so nice to see some of my family the past few days! My sister Mary, her husband Tom, and their son Colin, were headed to Florida and stopped and saw us Thursday night and stayed with us until Saturday.  It was a great visit with them and Will and Leah LOVED playing with them! Thanks for coming and taking time to visit with us:)

Sewing Fun!

My friend Kristen has been teaching me how to sew.  People that know me, know this is something I have always wanted to learn and to give a try.  I love cute kid clothes, but I hate the high price tag on so many:)

Kristen helped me to make a valentine dress for Leah and a tie shirt for Will~I will post pictures on Valentine's Day!  Then, the other night, I made my first "solo" project~a skirt for Leah! I couldn't believe how easy it was once I got started.  I am excited to try out some other patterns I have for shorts/dresses and will post pictures soon.

900 Mgs!

Will is doing awesome with his peanut desensitization!!  He has had made it to 900 mgs, which is equal to 3 peanuts!!!  He has been such a trooper, especially with all of his colds/illnesses from preschool. Each time he gets sick, we have to go back to the drs for a 3 hour visit to decrease his dose until he is better. We had to go to the drs. A LOT this fall!:)
If he stays healthy, we will be finished (fingers crossed!) by the end of April/beginning of May and will reach the max of 8 peanuts!!!! Then he will go on "maintence dose" for a year, eating 8 peanuts everyday.  This has been quite a journey, but it will all be worth it if we can get rid of this allergy!!!  We  are thankful to live in a place that offers desensitization, since it is so new right now.

1, 2, 3 Birthdays!

In the last month, we have been busy with birthdays! The first birthday was for Leah's friend Aine who lives in the neighborhood.  She had a ballerina party which Leah loved!:) The second birthday was at the "dinosaur museum" (Science museum) for Will's friend Georgia.  He had fun with his friends in his class! The third birthday was at "monkey joes" yesterday, for another little girl in Will's class, Alyssa. He had a lot of fun jumping around and going down the slides with his friends!

We have been doing a lot of arts/crafts lately. We also have been working on letters and their sounds.  Will did the sheet below the other day all by himself! I was so proud of how well he traced each letter and had to share:)

Football Party

Today I got to volunteer in Will's classroom. Clint took a half a day and took Leah to dance class. It was nice for both of us to have one on one time with the kids!
Will's class had a hotdog party today and did many activities to get ready for the super bowl. It was very cute to watch the kids do warm ups and to try to throw/punt the football.  I had a lot of fun and I hope I get a chance to volunteer again!

All ready for the super bowl party at school with his Ohio State shirt/pants with footballs on them:)

Aiming for the target!

Training like real football players:)
