Birthday

Clint celebrated his 35th birthday yesterday~I can't believe this is the 14th birthday I have spent with him! The kids loved singing to him and helping him eat the cake:)

Ice Skating

Will has been asking to go ice skating, so off we went!  We went to the Raleigh Winterfest, which is an outdoor rink.  Will had a lot of fun and didn't want to leave!  Leah was doing really well keeping her feet still on the ice, but got bored of it quick and wanted to sit out.:)
Getting ready to go!
Tring to stand with their skates on!
Leah had enough and decided to sit out!

The kids have really enjoyed some of the holiday shows on tv.  Tonight they watched "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".  I love this picture of them side by side, watching the show by the tree!

Uncle Mike's Visit

Uncle Mike was in town on Wednesday for work and came by to visit and to have dinner with us. The kids really enjoyed seeing him and spending time with him!

Uncle Mike and Clint set a "booby trap" for Will while he was in the bath~he loved it when he saw it on the light!

Cinderella

Leah and I had a mommy/daughter date and went and saw "Cinderella" at the Raleigh Little Theatre.  Several other moms and daughters from the neighborhood also went.  Leah really enjoyed it and loved when the glass slipper was tried on her:)  We will definitely have to go to more plays together in the future!

All dressed up and looks so grown up!

Christmas Program

Will had his Christmas program at school today.  They sang about eight songs for all the parents.  It was cute! Clint and I were in awe at how well Will did participating and singing~he definitely wasn't shy at all!  He was so focused on the teacher and trying so hard, we were so proud of him!

Sleigh Ride

On Saturday, we went to Brier Creek for a horse drawn sleigh ride.  The kids were so excited and loved riding around in the carriage. Something we will definitely make a tradition!:)
Excited to go!

Pete the horse!

Will's face makes me laugh, he was looking all around and was in awe of the lights:)

Big Bed

We converted Leah's crib awhile ago to a toddler bed. She is growing so fast and is so tall, so it was time to buy her a twin bed. She was so excited and Will loved helping daddy take apart her old bed.
Trying out her new mattress!
Concentrating so hard using the screwdriver!
So excited to go to sleep:)

Baby Jesus

Will came home with his "baby Jesus" from school.  He loves it and has a special shelf it sleeps on in his room:)

Bikes

Riding bikes is one of Leah and Will's favorite things to do outside. Leah has just started riding her "big girl bike" and always will tell me she can do it by herself:)  Will loves his bike, which is getting too small for him. He is hoping Santa will bring him a new one!

Santa

On Friday, we went to crabtree valley mall to see Santa.  Will went right up to him and sat on his lap.  Leah took a minute to warm up and then sat on his lap.  They loved the reindeer hats that Santa gave them and couldn't wait to tell Clint about it when he got home from work!

Excited before we went!
Big smiles with Santa!
