Trimming the tree

On Saturday, we went to the farmer's market and got our Christmas tree. Will thought it was so cool when Clint tied it on top of the car!:)  Then it was home to decorate the tree and house.  It was funny how within minutes there were about 30 ornaments on the bottom branch!

This was cute of the kids looking in different directions for the "perfect" tree!
Ready to decorate!
Getting a lift from daddy to put the star on top!
Two silly kids:)

Thanksgiving Day

We had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving Day in Raleigh, just the four of us!  I ran the 8K turkey trot in the morning and Clint smoked a turkey all day. It was beautiful weather and the kids got to enjoy a lot of outside time!

Marbles Museum

So excited to be at Marbles Museum!

Boys love trains, and girls love dollhouses!

This picture makes me laugh... A lady came up to us and said let me take your picture, and then she handed each of us a hula hoop and said here use these to pose with, I thought Clint was going to hand it back to her!:)

Making some lemonade!

The concentration Will had with the ball activity!

Cooking in the play kitchen!

Clint's vacation week began on Tuesday and we headed to Marble's Museum. The kids always love going there and had so much fun playing. Definitely a great way to begin a vacation week!

Aunt Stephanie

Aunt Stephanie was in town this past weekend visiting her friend and came by Saturday for a visit. The kids loved seeing her and playing with her! Thanks for visiting Aunt Steph!

Feast

The kids all sat and shook their rain sticks and played their drums.

Will was excited when Milo was added to the table (the class mascot!)

The feast!

Leah taking over on the drum when we got home~she had to add her accessories!

I helped out in Will's class last week for his Thanksgiving feast. Clint took an early lunch hour and was able to take Leah to dance class to give me some one on one time in Will' class. The kids were busy making their "rain sticks" when I arrived. It was amazing how calm they were with the drums and rain sticks when the teacher turned on the music, especially for a three year old class!
Next, we set up the tables, the kids said their prayer, and they all ate their feast together. It was so cute to watch!
When we came home, Leah was excited to get a turn with the rain stick and drum Will had made!

Falling Leaves

My little blondie!:)

Will did this over and over again!

He loved jumping in!

Will and Leah had so much fun sliding into the big pile of leaves this weekend! They have been waiting for enough to fall from the trees and were excited to play in them.

Twinkle Toes

Leah was so excited to go!

Standing on her tiptoes with Ms. Bethany!

"Sweeping" the ground with her ribbon.

I signed Leah up for a dance class called "twinkle toes". It meets once a week for the month of November. Today was her first day and she loved it! It was all independent with the moms sitting on the side, and she did a wonderful job listening and participating~I was so proud of her!
