Will's New Chair

Will got a new chair in the mail from his nana and poppop (Clint's parents). They sent it to him for his first birthday. It has his name on it and it is really cute! Of course Will is all boy and loves to climb on it and he thinks it is funny to fall out of it onto the floor! Thanks nana and poppop!

One Year Old Stats

Will had his one year old check up today... He weighs a little over 23 pounds and is 60% for weight and height. We were happy with the visit!:)

On Saturday, we had two first birthday parties to attend and Clint's formal for his MBA. Clint had class Saturday, so Will and I headed to the first birthday party at Eli's house. Will had fun playing outside on the swing and at the water table. From there we stopped at Finley's first birthday party which was right down the street. We got there in time to see Finley open his gifts and to have some playtime with the other kids.
That night Will spent the night at my friend Tina's house while Clint and I went to his formal. Will did great, except he wasn't too crazy about their dog! Clint and I had a great time celebrating with his friends from the MBA.

Officially One!

Today was Will's first birthday...wow, a whole year gone by! It is really amazing to think of him as a little baby a year ago. Will now loves to "explore" EVERYTHING! He has found the toilet paper, has learned to climb the stairs, and LOVES to shut the doors! He tries to lift each toy in his playroom to show how strong he is:)) Will loves to open/close things and put things in and take them out of his containers. He waves at everyone he sees, points and tries to say many things, and walks everywhere now. Clint and I have enjoyed this past year watching him grow. We head to the doctor on Monday for Will's one year checkup and shots~ouch!

I took this cute picture of Will and his blue eyes yesterday and thought I would post it...I can't believe in two more days our little boy is turning one!

Will's First Birthday Party

We celebrated Will's birthday party this weekend. We had his party a week early since Clint has class next weekend on Will's real birthday. The party turned out great! We cooked out, ate cake, opened presents, and played some games. A lot of our friends were able to join us in celebrating Will's special day!

Our neighbors, Megan and Adam, had a cook-out Sunday night. When we showed up, we were surprised that it was a cook-out for Clint! He has completed his MBA and will be graduating next month from UNC. It was so nice of Megan and Adam~they had decorated with balloons and banners and Megan made a really cool cheeseburger cake! Thanks Megan and Adam for the cookout!

Lexi's first birthday party was on Saturday night at the pool. Will had a lot of fun running around, swimming, and riding in Lexi's new wagon. He really wanted to open Lexi's gift before we left for the party!:)

I went to the kid's exchange a week ago and bought Will a table/chairs set for his playroom. He loves sitting in the chair and eating his snack at the table. He is growing up so fast!

My friend Carol hosted a playdate/birthday celebration at her house on Friday. The four boys that were there, Will, Owen, Ryan, and Eli, are all turning one during the month of August! We ate a yummy cake from edible art and the boys had fun playing together.

Lawn Mower

Nanny and Papa Barnes (Meg's parents), gave Will a lawn mower as an early birthday present. Will loves it so much! It plays music and the balls pop when he pushes it! He plays with it everyday~thanks nanny and papa!
