The Blinds visiting!

On Saturday, my sister Mary and her family stopped to see us and spend the night on their way back from a family vacation to Myrtle Beach. We had fun spending time outside in the afternoon. That night we all went out to dinner. When we got back, the girls headed for a walk with Will and the boys played a little bocce ball. It was great seeing them and we were glad they stopped to visit! Will enjoyed the time he spent playing with his cousins!

Durham Bulls Game

On Friday night, Clint, Will, and I went to a Durham Bulls baseball game. UNC hosted the event for Clint's MBA class and their families. It was nice for everyone to get a chance to meet Will and it was a nice night to be outside!

Swimming....

Will and I have been going to the pool in our subdivision a lot this summer. He always gets excited when I mention the pool. I thought this picture was cute of him all dressed and ready to swim today!

11 Months Old..

Will is 11 months old today....only one more month until his first birthday! Wow, what a month of changes for Will! He is now pointing at everything, waving, is eating all grown up foods, cut his top two teeth, and is walking! It is amazing how many things have changed in just a month's time. He continues to be curious about new things and loves to explore! He is no longer drinking the bottle, just the sippy cup, which was much easier to switch than I expected. Clint and I continue to love every minute with Will and love watching him change into a little boy.

New Shoes!

Now that Will is beginning to walk, we decided it was time to get him a nice pair of shoes, so we headed to stride rite on Saturday. They measured his foot and he was a five and a half wide!!! Pretty big for this age! Will loved the whole experience though. He just sat on the seat and let them put the shoes on and loved kicking his feet and checking out the new shoes. The salesperson couldn't believe how calm and good he was! Below are a couple of pics!

Anniversary....

Today was Clint's and my 4th wedding anniversary~to celebrate we went to North Hills to listen to the music outdoors and grab a bite to eat. They have music on Thursday nights during the summer~ it was nice to be outdoors. Will loved the music and loved being able to walk around his stroller!

First few steps...

Well, Will took his first few steps yesterday at 10 and a half months! I was able to catch a couple steps on video today. Of course he is a little unstable, but very proud of himself when he gets where he wants to!

Our New York Trip

Clint, Will, and I traveled to New York to visit my family for the fourth of July. It was a LONG drive (12 hours each way), but Will did great in the car! We were able to see all of my siblings, their spouses, and all of my nieces and nephews, which was great! We spent a lot of time with my folks while we were there as well.
