We have had a busy weekend so far! On Saturday, we headed to Pullen Park for a picnic with five other couples and their babies. All the babies are right around the same age, so it was fun to get together! We rode the train while we were there which was fun! Later that evening our friends Tina and Tim came over with their daughter Lexi to grill out. Sunday was a busy day around the house. Clint got all of the yard work done and Will got to go in his pool for the first time~he loved it! Later Sunday evening we converted one of our guest rooms into Will's playroom since he is getting into EVERYTHING now and we wanted a safe place for him. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Nine Months Old

Will is nine months old today! Only three more months until the big "1"! At his nine month check-up, Will weighed 22 pounds and was 29 1/2 inches long~80th percentile for both! His personality is beginning to develop more and more each day. At times, he can be very sensitive and loveable (always giving kisses!), and at other times he is very determined and a little stubborn (must get this from his dad?:) He continues to be VERY happy all of the time and is always laughing and smiling. Will enjoys talking and babbling, he loves to clap and to do "so big" and is getting very fast at crawling! He loves to stand up and hold on to things and likes to walk holding on to our hands. Will can stand for a few seconds on his own and then he thinks it is funny to fall down! We love watching him change each day!

Florida Trip

Last week, Will, Clint and I traveled to Florida for a family vacation and for a cousin's wedding. We had a wonderful time enjoying the sun and spending time with Will in the ocean and pool. It was a much needed time away for the three of us to spend time together! Below are a few pictures of our trip. Towards the end of our trip our camera broke. The bad news is that we missed out on a lot of cute pictures. The good news is that I finally got to get a new camera when we returned to Raleigh! We took some pictures from the wedding with Uncle Mike's camera, so hopefully I will post some of those later! Enjoy!

Cinco de Mayo Party!

Our friends Megan and Adam had a cinco de mayo party at their house. It was a great party and we were glad to join everyone for a little bit before Will's bedtime!

I have had a few people ask me if Will likes the grass yet. I guess they felt bad for him because of his earlier picture on the blog in the grass. Well, we tried it out yesterday, and he liked it! Clint, Will, and I are heading to Florida in a week for a family vacation, so we will get to see how he likes the sand next!:)
