Blair is 3!

I can't believe my little princess is 3 tomorrow! We are celebrating her bday with a Hello Kitty bash on Friday. Hopefully she won't notice that her bday really is tomorrow, instead of Friday! I can't say enough about my sweet little girl. Having a daughter is so much fun. We spend our days playing dress up, tea party, and dolls. She has a slight obsession with "Tangled", she even blessed her in family prayer tonight. She is my little snuggle bug. She wasn't the biggest snuggler when she was a baby/toddler, however she makes up for it now! She always knows when I need a kiss and a hug. She gives the best little hugs. When anyone leaves the house she gives you at least four hugs, and four kisses! She then proceeds to stand at the door, or garage, waving bye until she can't see you anymore. She is always asking me to sit by her. She always makes me feel important that I am her mom. She always tells me "I Love you SOOO much!" She has always been a mover and a shaker. She proved this when she walked at 8 and 1/2 months. She is still that way. She goes, goes, goes! I wish I had her energy. While I am so sad she is getting bigger, a part of me is relived. I am not as worried that she is going to kill herself on a daily basis. So many falls this little one has had. Bloody noses, bruises, x rays, etc. Thank goodness nothing serious yet. Now that she is older and is able to do the things she actually wants, the accidents have decreased! She takes ballet and loves it so much! She is always putting on little ballet shows for anyone who will watch. Her favorite color is pink. She loves Cinderella and Tangled. Her favorite shows to watch are Ki Lan, Micky Mouse Club House, Max and Ruby, and Little Bill. She loves Mac and a cheese, and baby hot dogs. She loves playing with her friends. Oh, how I love this little girl! I am so grateful for my second little miracle! Thanks for being my daughter Blair! Happy 3rd bday!

She is just too big for words!
The day we brought her home from the hospital.

80's

Hello, Jane Fonda! That is the first thing I thought when Blair brought the 80's back to our house!

Football!

Lukas and the neighbor boys have REALLY been into playing football lately. It is so funny to watch! They all wear a different helmet of some sort. Lukas wears his bike helmet. Lately, he has been asking for a real football helmet. I like to listen to them play. They get really into it and are super technical about it. I am so glad that these boys are so nice to include Lukas, considering they are about 4 years older then him. They treat him so well and are teaching him so much!

V day!

We had a super fun V day! Lukas got to go to school and have a party, even though he normally doesn't have school on Tuesday! Both, Blair and Lukas made Valentines for the neighbor friends as well. They got to wear their new V day outfits! They got a love package from mom and dad. They also got to go to Mcdonalds for lunch! What 2 and 5 year old could ask for a better day!

Getting ready to open their love packages!
Kirby's Epic Yarn for Lukas.
Kai Lan game for Blair. This girl LOVES her Kai lan!
Showing off their cute V day wear!
Posing like a true model! I love her head band. I bought it at the Gymboree outlet the week before Valentine's Day! It matched her outfit perfect!
Seriously Chicks Dig Super Heroes!

Date!

On Saturday Dan took Lukas on a daddy son outing! They went and saw Star Wars on the big screen. He was so excited, and did SO well! While they were out Blair and I had a mommy daughter afternoon. It was so fun for the both of us. First off, Blair wanted me to make her "pretty!" She had me girl her hair and put a little make up on her. After we got all dolled up we went out. Blair wanted ice cream with sprinkles, and chocolate chips! We went to Yogurt Bliss, but was disappointed to find out that it doesn't open until 4! Blair decided that she wanted to go to Mcdonalds after that. So off we went. She sat with me and ate her whole lunch. She talked and chatted happily. Then she was off to play. We had lots and lots of fun!

Bye Bye Binkie!

Oh, the binkie is gone Hurray Hurray! I was dreading this day for a while. If anyone knows Blair you know she is a big time binkie lover! We put it off as long as we could. We were going to wait until Presidents Day weekend, only cause I was sure without Dan home at night I would give in. We lost it once and Blair cried for two and a half hours till it was found! It was HORRIBLE!!! Then a miracle happened about 4 days ago. She lost them again. This time we just told her we were sorry and until she found them we couldn't do anything about it. She looked, and looked, and looked some more. She couldn't find them. We put her too bed with a kiss, hug, and an "I'm sorry." She cried a tiny bit but she did awesome! Then the next day she asked a few times but that was about it. They ended up missing for 3 nights! Then the other day she came down sucking on one! She had found them hidden in a special hidden pocket of a purse. I hurried and told her she was a big girl and put them up high. We had been promising her that she could go to build a bear and put them in a Hello Kitty. She remembered of course and we had to go that night. Dan and I were nice and let her suck on them till she got to Build a Bear. Then like a great big brave girl she put them in the Hello Kitty with out a single tear. She loves her Hello Kitty and sleeps with it and hauls it around the house. She hasn't asked for it since. PHEW, that was MUCH easier then I thought it was going too be. Especially cause Lukas was a little tougher. He tried to claw his binkies out of his build a bear. :)

Stuffing the Hello Kitty!
Bye Bye, Binkies and in goes the heart!

Lukas had to get a Spider Man outfit for his bear.

Cousins

These two little cousins LOVE each other and have so much fun playing! Today at Grandma and Grandpa's, Staci dressed them up as princesses/ballerinas! They had a blast! I hope they are best friends for life!
