Carnival Time

Fiesta Days in Spanish Fork= Carnival time. Lukas kept asking when we were going to go to the circus. I told him it wasn't the circus it was the carnival. He assured me that the Circus and the Carnival are the same thing. I guess in his cute little mind they are. Who cares that tickets cost in arm and a leg right along with our favorite carnival treats. The smiles on their faces is priceless!

This space ship ride was clearly a favorite! The smile did not leave Lukas's face for a second!
Blair had to ride the horsies! When we went to get on the carousel she said "Chicken" Who cares that it really is a rooster she had fun riding the "Chicken."
Lukas was really upset that Blair didn't want to ride the horse next to him. He got over it though.

Lukas really wanted to go down the slide. You can tell by Dan's face that it went pretty fast! The nice thing about the carnival is that if you ride with a kid you just pay the kids ticket fare.
The pirate ships were the last ride we went on. Blair had only wanted to ride the carousel and so we told her she could ride one more ride. Lukas had already been on 4 rides. We only had 5 tickets and it cost 3 tickets to ride the pirate ships. We told him it was Blair's turn. The water works started. Luckily when Dan asked the carnival worker if Lukas could ride for 2 tickets he let him!
Blair's face is so funny!
The kids got air brushed tattoos! Lukas of course chose bat man! He loves it!
Blair chose Hello Kitty!

Lukas

Lukas is now a two wheeler bike rider! I am SO proud of him! He asked us to take off his training wheels about 3 weeks ago. He is one of the youngest kids on the block (unless you count the 3, 2 year olds.) and was the only one with training wheels still. I think he was feeling a little left out. We took them off and he just wasn't catching on. We would practice with him but he would give up with in about 5 minutes of trying. He was having a hard time balancing. I kept asking him if maybe he just wanted to put his training wheels back on and try again in a few months. He told me no every single time! The other day after a picnic lunch he asked me if we could practice. I told him yes, but I needed to pick up lunch first and I would help him. While I was picking up lunch he just sort of took off. It was seriously CRAZY! I couldn't believe it. He has been cruising a long since. He is so glad that he can now keep up with his friends.

Blair's tea party

My friend and neighbor who is a photographer was doing a bunch of different themed mini sessions for a great price. One was a Vintage Tea Party Theme. I couldn't resist signing Blair up. I also thought these photos would make for great finishing touches on her new big girl room! She did so well at the photo shoot. All day I told her we were going to go to a tea party. She was so excited. She brought her doll and her stuffed animal "Molly" to join the fun. She had a blast. They turned out so cute. Now I just need to figure out which ones to blow up and put on her wall. http://frecklesphotography.blogspot.com/

She was so excited to share her tea with Molly!

She is so so sweet! I love this pic.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July weekend. We hop everyone else did as well! I am so grateful to live in a country where we have so much freedom and so many blessings! The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. Family, friends, good food, outside fun, and fireworks. Seriously, what could be better?

On Sun we hung out at the neighbors and watched fire works with them. It was so fun! We are so grateful for such great neighbors!

Ty and Blair would not stop getting up and running super close to the fire works. They were making us so nervous that we rigged up rope seat belts to keep them in their chairs. It worked!
My kids in their 4th of July outfits! Our neighbor made this cool Uncle Sam drum!

Enjoying pop corn at Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinsons!
We had a bbq and swim party at grandma and grandpas. My kids always have such a blast hanging out with their cousins!
It is so great to have such great friends in the family! These boys love each other!
Gracie and Blair love each other too!
Uncle Milo pouring water on the kiddies!
Lukas is getting SO good at swimming! After swimming lessons last week he can now swim short distances!
Having fun playing in the smoke bombs!
Blair decided she wasn't done swimming AFTER she had already changed out of her swimming suit. She got in and got soaked. She wouldn't let me take her dress off! She swam in her dress for over an hour. When I took her diaper off I swear it weighed ten pounds!

Later that night we had neighbors and grandma and grandpa Crane over for fire works and sparklers. It was a lot of fun. Even after our fire works were done we got to enjoy the fire work spectacular in the sky. So many neighbors got the Aerial fire works. We just sat on our porch and enjoyed!
