Another year has passed and Blair will be turning two on Tuesday! A part of me wants to cry a little bit. I think I have been a little bit more melancholy with Blair turning 2 then when Lukas turned 2. I think it is because when Lukas turned 2 I was just a little over a month away from having Blair. I knew that I was going to have a snuggle buddy in the near future. With Blair turning 2 that isn't in the near future. Even though I know baby number 3 is somewhere in our future I know it isn't now. I am okay with that but I still get a little sad watching my baby of the moment grow up. However, she is truly truly a joy in our family!

She is still as crazy as ever. Climbs anything and everything. She refuses to sit in the cart at the store and can escape the straps. She now walks beside me which can be somewhat of a challenge.
Counts to 10.
Knows the colors pink and blue.
Loves Sesamee Street and Olivia. I think her preference is now leaning more to Olivia. She asks to watch it first think in the morning and every night before bed.
Loves to give hugs and kisses. Every time someone leaves the house or she leaves someones house she asks for a hug and a kiss.
She loves treats and when you give her one she asks for two and if you give her another one she asks for three.
Could play outside for hours and hours.
I think her favorite time of the day is bath time. She never wants to get out and looks like a prune when I finally convince her she has to get out.
She has to sleep with her pillow pet, stuffed puppy, baby, and elmo.
Her favorite foods are: french fries, cheese, cereal, and chips. However, she will eat pretty much anything you give her.
She is very self entertaining and can play by herself for hours.
She is starting to want to make choices of what to wear. She tells me no when I pick out her outfits all the time and points at something else and says "this!" Should I be worried?
She loves her big brother and is always concerned for his well being. If he is sad she is sad. She always wants him to join in her fun and play with her. She does everything he does.
I love my little dare devil and everything she brings into this family. A hug and a smile from her just makes my day. Happy birthday (on Tuesday) little miss Blair Bear! We love you!

While Dads away!

Last Sat Dan went rabbit hunting and Blair, Lukas and I had the majority of the day to ourselves. What did we do? We played with flash lights! Who knew flash lights could be so fun? Seriously, my kids played with these flashlights for at least an hour. They danced with them. They shined them on the walls and doors. They chased each other in their own version of flash light tag. All in all they had a blast. I am glad when simple things make my children happy!

Valentines Day

Valentines Day was a little hectic with Blair not feeling well in the morning and Lukas not feeling well in the evening. Blair perked up about 11 and managed to be her usual energetic self. Lukas spent Valentines Night in the Drs. office. He too ended up with strep. I would have had no idea if he would have been eating normal. He refused breakfast and lunch so I figured something was up and we got him checked out. He didn't complain once of not feeling well and did not have a fever!

Blair got a puppy in a purse which she loves, coloring book, heart bracelets and a big bird wash clothe.
Lukas had a preschool V day party. He was so excited. He handed out Spider man sticker Valentines to all his preschool friends. NO I didn't know he had Strep or I wouldn't have sent him.

While Lukas was at school Blair played in the nice warm weather outside. She wanted to play with the squirt bottle. We let her and she had a blast.

We topped the night off with Little Ceasers bread sticks and pizza. That is Lukas's favorite.

2 and 4 yr pics sneak peak

My friend/neighbor at http://www.frecklesphotography.blogspot.com/ took my kids 2 and 4 year pics a few days ago. I LOVED how they turned out. My kids turned their charms on and we got some good ones.

Blair had on a really cute dress to wear with Lukas in these pics but she was done by that time. I am not sure we even got one with her in her princess twirly dress. That is what we call it. She loves to twirl in it. I will have to get a pic of her in it and post it another day.

My kids were being so silly and fun! I love their little outfits. Blair's dress is my new fave! I can't wait till it is warmer so she can wear it more often!
