Christmas Day

We had such a great Christmas Day. Of course our kids got super spoiled and LOVED it! It was nice too because our kids slept in and didn't wake up till almost 830. I even had to wake Lukas up. He came running in the living room and said Santa came and gave me the camera I wanted. He was thrilled. About thirty minutes later he said he wanted to call Santa and thank him for his camera and gifts. My heart melted when he said that. I thought that was super sweet. Blair also had a good time playing with her new toys.
Lukas showing his "Camera that works" This was the only thing he consistently kept asking for.
Blair loved her silly town surprise!
She even opened a few gifts.
Lukas told me to take a picture of him taking a picture of me. He loves his camera and has already taken about 300 pictures. Luckily you can easily delete them. Especially when he took about ten pictures of the drivers side seat in the car.
Grandma and grandpa Crane gave Lukas a new scooter. He is so excited that he now has a scooter at grandmas house and our house.
Testing it out!

Blair LOVED Lukas's scooter. She just couldn't get enough of it. She climbed on and stood up. We gave her tiny rides and she thought it was so AWESOME!

We had a great Christmas Eve. Our Christmas Eve tradition is to spend it with Dans family. It is so fun to have everyone together. Even though it can get a little hectic and loud with all the grand children so super excited, it is a great time by all. My kids love playing with their cousins. I am so grateful they have SO many.

Before we went to Dans parents our kids opened their Christmas Even books. This was Blairs very first present on her very first Christmas.
She is the cutest girl ever!
The cutest boy ever! They were opening the gifts from their cousins.
Lukas got a pirate ship accessory for his pirate ship grandma and grandpa gave him.
Blair got a cute baby doll.
The grand kids acted out the nativity. This was Lukas's first year participating. The previous year he refused. He was a donkey and loved being in it this time.
Blair just being her cute self.
Blair and Gracie looking cute in red. They are going to grow up to be the greatest friends.
Lukas opening his gift from Grandma and Grandpa. He LOVES it! Blair got a ride on pink pony. It is adorable. I didn't get a very good picture of her opening it. I will have to take some of her riding it. We had a great Christmas Eve!

Ginger bread men

A few days ago Lukas and I made ginger bread men! He loved it. He loved rolling out the dough and cutting out the men. He did a really good job too.

He has such a cute smile.

I bought the spray icing thinking he would think that was fun. It was a little hard for him to use. (I will be making my own for the sugar cookie for santa.)However, I think he ate more icing then he decorated. I think I need more practice on making my ginger bread men pretty but at least we had fun doing it.

Blair's new trick!

This is Blair's new favorite thing to do! It seriously cracks me up. I don't know why she loves it so much but she does it ALL the time! She does it then laughs. She also likes if we look at her between her legs and say BOO! She also sticks her hands between her legs like she is reaching for something. Oh, little Miss Blair you never cease to entertain!

Santa baby

We took the kids to see Santa today. Lukas was so excited because he wanted to make sure that he told Santa that he wanted a camera that works for Christmas. Of course he told him and Santa sort of laughed. We love this Santa. He is always at the Provo mall and he is always so sweet and nice with the kids. Blair didn't even cry. We thought for sure she would start screaming. We let her keep her binky for security purposes even though it doesn't make for the best of picture.
Despite Lukas's somber face he was really happy. I promise.
This was Blair while we were standing in line for Santa. Luckily the line was pretty short. However, it still moved a little on the slow side.

Christmas outfits

Yesterday I couldn't resist the urge to put my kids in their Church Christmas outfits. I figured since it was December why not. They looked so cute. I sure do have cute kids!

He is a crack up!
She just looks so much bigger and older to me every single day.

Our house!

So we walked through our house today and I brought my camera. I found so many more things that I love about it. It made me so so excited to get everything done so we can live there! I am so excited.

The living room closest to the kitchen.
The living area as you walk int the door.
Our kitchen. The kitchen is one of my favorite things about the house. I LOVE it. It is so open and big. We will have a lot of cupboard space. The pantry is so big too.
This is the living room at the top of the stairs. This will be the kids play room.
Master bathroom.
Check out mine and Dans closet! Seriously, I am not even going to know what to do with it. It is so big.
I am so excited for this! I have always wanted a fire place. I am so excited to sit by it. I am excited for next years Christmas so I can hang stockings from it.

9 month stats

Blair had her nine month check up today.

Weight 18 pounds 9 ounces 50th percentile
Height 28.2 inches 71st percentile.
She is growing so much but I thought she weighed 19 pounds but I was wrong. Dr. N said she is doing great. He came in and she was standing there and he said wow she is standing so well for her age. Then she started walking and he said oh she is walking. I said yeah for a few weeks now. He said at least you aren't worried about her development. He was amazed that she pushes herself off the middle of the floor instead of crawling to things to pull up. Seriously, so am I. Where did my baby go? Now we just need to get her to sleep through the night. Dr. N and I agree that we need to wait till we get in our new house and have a routine there before we start really working on it again.

9 Months

Blair Bear turned 9 months old today! Time just keeps going by so much faster then I would like. She is getting so big and so cute with each passing day. This last month she has learned so much. She claps when you say yeah! Clapping is one of her favorite things to do. She has even started clapping when she hears people clapping on t.v. Tonight while watching So You Think You Can Dance she would clap at the end of the peformances since she could hear the audience clapping. She is walking all over the place. Even though she still crawls as well. She does about half of each through out the day. It looks so funny because she is so little. It is more like a toddle. She loves to grab Lukas's sippy cup and walk around with it cupped into the crook of her arm. I guess I should buy her, her own sippy. She still has problems waking up at night. I can still only count about ten times where she has slept all night. She is such a good baby though and hardly ever cries. She loves to play by herself but also loves to play with me (and others) when we want too. She is a little climber and I catch her climbing on her toy boxes and onto Lukas's rocking chair numerous times through out the day. She can even climb onto Lukas's bed all by herself. Hopefully she doesn't try to climb out of her crib too early or else she will be in a toddler bed fairly early. She is just so sweet and we sure love her. We are glad she is part of our little family!

She LOVES Lukas and follows him everywhere. They still look like twins too me!
My little dare devil!

Just going for a ride!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving and I am grateful for so much (see below pics for my specific thanks.) We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Dans parents. It was such a fun day. Thanksgiving is such a great holiday!

My kids ready to go to grandma and grandpa's.
She cracks me up.
This is Blair and Gracie. Gracie is Blair's cousin who is a month and a half younger then her. They are both so cute.
Gracie really liked Blairs hair bow and spent the majority of their time playing together trying to grab it. It was hilarous.

I love Thanksgiving because it is a time of reflection and gratefulness. I have so much to be grateful for.
I am so grateful for my little family. Dan is such a great husband and daddy to my little ones. He always makes sure our needs are met and never complains. He even goes on lack of sleep if Lukas needs to wake him up (which happens often.) while he is sleeping during the day. He works so hard and makes sure we are taken care of. He makes sure that I have my time to myself too. This is usually in the form of the gym on a daily basis. He lets me have my monthly book club meeting nights with my friends as well. I love him tons!
I am grateful for Lukas even his sassy side! He is learning more and more everyday. He always has something funny to say which cracks me up. He is such a sweet big brother and is always concerned for Blairs well being. He misses her when she is napping. He says, "Where is my sister Blair?" I will tell him she is napping and he gets so sad and says he needs her. He is always saying his daddy is his best friend. He keeps us on our toes and is full of mischief. His beautiful big eyes melt my heart. He always has a hug and a cuddle for me sometimes during the day.
I am so grateful for Blair. She is such a sweet heart. She just fills my heart with joy. She rarely cries and is always smiley. She is learning so rapidly that sometimes it saddens me but I am so impressed with her skills. Her most recent one is clapping. She claps when you say yeah and is so excited she can do it. I love that she loves me and always wants me. She is so cute and if I am sad I just look at her and I get in instant smile.
I am grateful for my family. I am grateful for my mom. She is such a great mom and grandma. My kids adore her. She is always willing to take time out of her busy schedule to watch my kids and play with them. She is so caring and willing to help others. She truly is the most unselfish person I know.
I am grateful for my step dad and his willingness to treat my family just like his own. My kids love him. He is a great grandpa and does so much for us. He is always willing to help us when we need something fixed ect.
I am grateful for Dans parents and family. They are so great and we love going over there and spending time with them when we have Sunday dinners. My kids love playing with their cousins and I am so glad they have such sweet caring aunts, uncles and cousins.
I am grateful that we get to go through the process of purchasing our first home. It is so beautiful and I can't wait to move in there with my family. It is beyond anything I ever wanted. It is so spacious and I can't wait to meet our neighbors and ward.
I am grateful for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Without them nothing would be possible. I am so indeed grateful for answered prayers. I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Truly I am so grateful for so many things but I will leave it at this.

Can I brush my teeth mom?

Today while I was cleaning Blair's bedroom I heard her crawling like she was heading into the room to be with me. I kept saying "Come here Blair bear." Usually it just takes a few times and she finds me. Well today I heard her but she just didn't come in. I went to find her and she had climbed Lukas's step stool and looked like she wanted to brush her teeth. Silly, girl. I can't leave her alone for two seconds. She is also walking but it won't let me post a video. I always have a hard time getting videos to upload here.

Little Helper

Lukas is my little/big helper. He loves to clean and when I am cleaning he asks to help. Lately he has been really into vacuming. He always asks to vacum. I usually take a turn then I let him have a go at it. Except the other day he vacumed up a toy and I had to dig it out of the vacum. It made our house smell like burnt rubber. He kept saying it is so stinky. Hopefully he keeps it up so when he grows up and finds a pretty girl and marries her he will continue to help around the house. That sure is the way to a womens heart.

We vacum two or three times a day to keep everything off the floor since Blair is known to find the littlest thing and put it in her mouth.
He LOVES wiping down the chairs with clorox wipes for some reason. I have been making him wipe down the door handles and such as well.

He even helps grandpa! He had a lot of fun with the leaf blower today!
