Tying shoes

One day Lukas came to me and told me he wanted to learn how to tie his shoes. I figured it was about time. He seriously learned in about 10 min. I showed him a few times and he practiced a few times and DONE!!! This little guy is one smart dude! When we were done I kept wondering why I waited so long to teach him!

Blair burns her hand

On New Year's Eve Blair burned her hand on the fire place! You guys, it was SO sad! So sad that I was crying along with her. When it happened she said she did it on purpose. However, later we learned she was spinning and tripped into it. She was crying so hard, and was so miserable. Luckily our peds office has an after hours and they were open. I quickly drove her over there which luckily is about 5 minutes away. The whole drive was miserable. She was crying in so much pain. We got there and the office was SO busy! We had to wait a bit but finally got back there. Seriously, she was screaming and saying how bad it hurt and all I wanted to do was take her pain away. They offered her juice, popsicles, crayons, and princess coloring sheets. She didn't want any of it. The Ped came in and said she would be just fine and gave us a script for Silver cream. This stuff is awesome! As soon as the cream was on and her hand was wrapped she asked for the princess coloring pages. The next week and a half she had to keep her hand wrapped. Getting dressed and doing certain things was a little tough but she got use to it. Now when looking at her hand you would never know she burned it.

Christmas Day

Christmas is my favorite holiday and I love having 3 kids and a husband to share it with! I love Christmas morning and the excitement it brings to my children. My kids woke up at six to see what Santa had brought them. Santa brought Lukas and Blair wiggly carts, batman, sheets, and Hello Kitty sheets. Case got Little People toys.

 Emptying the stocking
 Hello Kitty flashlight! HECK YES!!!

Lukas emptied Cases stocking while Case played in the bouncer.
Tin tea set from mom and dad
Angry bird game from mom and dad

The kids wanted to try out their new out door toys. It was SOOOOO snowy though! So we moved the cars out of the garage and the kids had fun playing. Dan took over a wiggly cart.
Grandma and Grandpa Crane came and visited. The kids opened their presents from them. Lukas got bat man toys to add to his collection.
Blair got the Disney princess Little people castle! I LOVE this!

Playing with the vanity. We spent the rest of the night at my parents house. We had dinner and hung out. I realized when looking back at these pics I didn't take many of Case! Sheesh, poor third child. I think I was just really tired. ;)

Christmas Eve part 2

The evening part of Christmas Eve was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson's. Yummy food and fun family! The kids acted out the Nativity, we opened gifts, and hung out.

 Lukas was a shepherd.
Blair and Gracie were angels like every year. I just don't think they can resist the princess crowns and wands. ;)
 Case hung out!

Opening cousin presents. It got a little hectic and I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. Blair got princess barbies, and Lukas got an I pad game, and Spider Man toy.

Opening up Grandma and Grandpas gift. She got a Vanity! She was beyond excited. She loved it and still does! One of the best Christmas toys ever!

Lukas got a skateboard. He can't wait to use it more this summer.

Christmas Eve Part 1

This year we didn't make it to church the Sunday before Christmas, so I made my kids wear their outfits on Christmas Eve. With all the sickness going around I just didn't dare go to church and risk Case getting really sick. We have had a lot of RSV, Pnemonuia, influenza etc going around our neighborhood. With a sweet little preemie I just didn't want to risk it. I still got some super cute pictures, and they wore their outfits to Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson's Christmas Eve party.

 I still can't believe I have 3 kids!
Blair and her posing is the cutest!
I don't know when or how this kid got so grown up on me! He is so handsome and sweet!

Every Christmas Eve my kids get Christmas Eve books about the true meaning of Christmas. Before we do any celebrating we open and read each book. It helps bring the spirit into our home.
Case just chilled and listened in his dads arms, while I read the stories.

Santa Clause at Grandma and Grandpa's

A few days before Christmas Santa came and visited Grandma and Grandpa Cranes house! My kids were so ecstatic! They were even more excited when Santa brought early Christmas gifts! Lukas was pretty certain that this was the REAL Santa, and not just one of his helpers.

 Lukas got a bat mobile.
 Telling Santa his wish list!
Blair wouldn't hold up her toy for a pic but she got Hello Kitty trouble! She was so excited!
Case was pretty wide eyed when Santa held him. It was the cutest!

Christmas Dance recital

Lukas and Blair had their Christmas dance recital on the 14th of Dec. I always love watching them dance. They are so cute, and it fills my heart with joy that they found something they enjoy doing, something that is building their confidence.

Lukas really is SOOO good at hip hop! Every time we leave a recital I get compliments on how well he does. Lukas honestly has a knack at being good at everything he does.
This little girl just loves to dance. She gets so excited every time we go to ballet. She loves Miss Monica her teacher and even invites her over to play at our house. ;) Miss Monica is such a great teacher and has so much patience. She even makes the girls costumes for every recital.
Blair was SO excited that Gracie came and watched her dance. These two are best buds. I am so grateful that Blair has a cousin to be best buds with. She will always have a friend.
